Another thought after rewatching the video. I walked around a luxury shopping area and window shopped some watches. For the most part, the jewerly places keep the doors locked and they have to buzz you in. The general jewerly store that has GO, GS, Tudor, Omega, etc., buzzed me in when I was looking at display models. I asked if I can browse and they said "of course." I looked at GS White Birch and tried on a GO SeaQPanoramadate. My two top choices and seeing them in person confirmed it.
Then I walked around some more. I tried to open the door to JLC boutique. No one buzzed me in. Maybe didn't see me but most likely no one is watching the door like other places. Next door was Cartier. Few people were standing outside. I asked the lady at the door if I can come in. "Our associates are busy, you will need to make an appointment and wait outside." Apparently, you need a sales person attached at the hip and can't just browse. So guess which two brands I'm never buying? Cartier and JLC, if you're spending money on market research which I hope you are and you're reading this, give people an option as to how they want to shop. The long lines outside your stores and locked doors are really off-putting. Your snobbery will come around to bite you. Your high prices are also making people like myself cross you off their list forever. I ordered a $60k car online without hassle. I won't allow myself to be treated like a begger when purchasing an expensive item.
I walked into a few other high end clothing boutiques and as soon as you walk through the door, a salesperson follows you around and talks non-stop about things you're not even interested in. That's not the shopping experience I'm looking for.

First of all cheers for answering my question, I've been following this channel for many years and to see this made me both happy to be in the video in a small way and annoyed to see my own spelling error meant to say buy not by, gotta love phone spell check XD.
As for your answer makes sense, you’ve grown a lot since the early sub and explorer video days in the kitchen and 30k would really drive you and your overall buisness forward.
I do get what you mean when it comes to daily use of something like a Vacheron, AP and Patek. I was considering get the Vacheron 56 a year or 2 ago and decided against it as I was worried about costs if I was to damage such a thing.
I daily my watches and I have on occasion dropped a watch or 2. It was on carpet but still made me nervous. That watch was a Datejust 41 and that thing ran beautifully, was accurate to the second when comparing the time to my phone. I not sure if I would be as lucky with the big 3.
Looking forward to the future content.
Again thanks for answering, this put a very big smile on my face :D.

Adrian would love your opinion on the Omega Seamaster vs the Pelagos 39. Thanks

I’m looking into Damasko and their 26-1 movement. If you ever think to review some of them, it would be great!

One of the things I like about your channel at the moment is that most of your videos are on the 'short' side, as far as watch content goes. I like that most of your videos come-in under 10 minutes. That's good for me. Shorter. Snappier. Focused. Still full of your personality, but talking about something specific. More of that would be good, but let's be honest.. I'd watch your content anyway 💁‍♂

20 min (cap) TH-cam interviews are a sweet spot for me. The 40 min length is a bit much and 30 min ones seem to be able to be edited to 20. ;)

Great video, more long form content would be brilliant.

Hey Adrian! What's your take on Alpina watches, especially the Seastrong line (they released a new GMT under this line). Love your videos! 🔥

Just for balance and to dispel some myths, I dropped a box of Patek's including grand comps from over 6ft and all was fine. I trod on 2 different submariners, all ok, but my wife's DJ was toast when she hit the crown on (well nothing if you ask her) and bent the stem so it wouldn't wind. A gold crown was a few hundred quid and a service, all was back to new.

The Omega Speedmaster price went up significantly with the introduction of the new movement. I think from £4000 to £6000.
