Going off of what Jazzy was saying about lacking genuine friendships, you will find your people!!!! Whether you’re in middle school, high school, college, 60 years old, it doesn’t matter. When you go through a period of not having friends it seems like that’s how it’ll be forever but the reality is you eventually do find people you actually vibe with. So if anyone is lonely, things will get better!!! In the meantime remember you’re amazing and can have a great time on your own because you’re a badass 🤪

Im a sophomore finishing up my prerequisites to get into the program and I have no friends either with 6 hour minimum assignments so I can’t even imagine how it’ll be when I get into the nursing program 😭 you can do it tho it’s going to be worth it in the future!!

I wish people would talk about the stereotype of women and children. We're expected to like kids because we're physically able to have them. Doesn't mean I want them or need or like them. Women are always called selfish when they say they don't like kids. Me for example. I really dislike kids and I'm always called selfish for not liking kids or wanting any. Just because my womb is able to carry a baby doesnt mean I want to have one and doesnt obligate me to like kids. Whenever I talk about how much I dont like kids or dont want any Its selfish. I always get "you were a baby once!" That doesnt mean I have to like them. Still hate em. Also I hate that starting a family is the end all be all. Like the expected for women is to marry a MAN and have kids. Nope. I'm lesbian and its irritating to see little representation. It's always straight couples with kids in commercials and such. I get so insecure when I hang out with my friends because they are ALL so much prettier than me. Every time I go out with one of my friends she always gets compliments on her hair, her clothes, and everything. I sometimes hate hanging out with certain friends because I feel it makes me look even worse than I already do if I'm next to them
I feel the same way 😭 my best friend is beautiful and smart and has dated guys before but guys don’t even give me a second glance, you just have to love yourself and understand that not everyone will find you pretty but that’s ok! There’s someone out there for everyone, and even if you don’t want to date, just remind yourself you are amazing ♥️

You'll find yourself "more attractive" when you stop comparing yourself to your friend and don't feed your jealousy! Don't fuel that fire! I know it's really difficult, but just celebrate the positives rather than seeing the negatives. It isn't a case of "She got a compliment and I didn't so I must not be good", so please try not to see it that way. See it more as a "Yes, she is and I'm happy about that!" if you know what I mean?

through my younger years of my childhood (im 14) i was VERY lonely. even if i had "friends" i would always end up alone. left out of things, never really felt like i had a true friends until 8th grade. shes a new pretty girl everyones interested until she comes up to my table with her brother and we slowly become closer and closer and.. BOOM
a year goes by and now she is the only person ive felt has been a true friends to me. been the only person ive told my DEEPEST secrets to, vise versa. even if i dont have any friends other than her, its okay because atleast i have ONE. and to anyone out there who hasnt found their best friend or person yet, it will come. i dont feel as lonely as i used to. i found my best friend. even if im just 14, and it may sound dramatic because im so young; i found someone. someone who truly cares. and i feel fufilled. and thats all that matters. good luck to all of you.

As someone a little older (i turn 23 this week), a lot of stuff in this video is “been there, done that!” But for a lot of you, it seems to be helpful. I’m so glad you all have someone like jazzy to guide you guys!! I didn’t really have anyone I could confide in growing up. My older sister acted very much like a second mother and I hid a lot of stuff from her. Use jazzy as your big sister if you don’t have one to confide in!!

I've been the background friend in most of my friend groups and I've learned that most of the time, it isn't because they exclude you, but because you exclude yourself. (not in all cases!! just reflect about it). Like, for example when there's a group project and no one comes directly at you asking to partner up, it might be because you normally distance yourself and doesn't always come to them instead

@Arcane Raven That's defiantly a possibility, but it's not always like that. I don't know your personal experiences, so I wouldn't know, but what I meant by the comment is that, if you look within maybe you feel excluded because you distance yourself in the first place. If you repeatedly look away and wait for them to include you in group projects, they'd get the idea that you don't even want to work with them, because you continuously look away and never comes to them. I have this very problem, but this is what my therapist told me and it really opened my eyes. I always blamed it on everyone else, when I actually was the only one to blame
