Tim you're one of the most amazing men that I admire and look up to in life. The way you look at life, always humble, always working and willing to improve, give the world more and more. Thank you for every piece of advice and everything. God bless you man :)

Not sure if you read all of these, but I just wanted to say thanks Tim. Your books have impacted my life more than you can ever imagine. I’ve been struggling with depression for over 10 years, and when I read 4hww, something just clicked, and I went all in on the principles in your book. I’m still battling the mental health thing, but my lifestyle has completely changed. For the past 3 years I’m making more money than I’ve ever made, I’m travelling more than I’ve ever travelled, and I’m just meeting more people and doing more things that I wouldn’t have done if it weren’t for your books. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Thank you Tim for compiling this book! It's a tremendous resource that truly inspires. "Healthy, wealthy, wise" is a nice way to divide the sections. "What should I do with my life?". Enjoy it

Tim, There is so much good that you do. I am very grateful for your insatiable learning spirit. You have opened my mind to know that good and light comes from all different walks of life, all different perspectives, and also to know that I too can succeed and move forward by experimenting and "failing" my way toward building a better life and a better world. Peace Brother.

"Only the wounded physician can truly heal" -Carl Jung. One of my fav quotes. It means for example if your helping someone out, you must be in a place of vulnerability somewhat yourself so that you can relate and empathize. He admitted it's a dangerous method... thus the carl jung/freud movie 'A Dangerous Method' :p

    Suggestion to Tim Ferriss.
Brian Blessed (British actor and traveller/adventurist) as a guest on your podcast. He is the best story teller ever.
Here are just a few of his life stories: He shook hands with Adolf Hitler. He spent a few days with Agatha Christie when she was helping him with some instructions on how to stage her play in a theatre. He had adult black panther, tigers and lioness living with him in a house in London in sixties. He climbed Mount Everest three times. He survived a plane crush. He spent a lived with gorillas and orangutans. He personally knows Queen Elizabeth (and has some good stories about her). He is fit as hell and fun to listen. His stories don't stop. Thank you Tim, and good luck with everything you do.

Tim sorry to hear about all your problems. I will do a prayer for you. You look great at 40 and lean while I am almost 40 and on a diet to lose weight lol. Don't listen to the haters I think you look cool with a bald head and the goatee and I recently started shaving my head bald and everyone who wasn't used to the new look had a lot to say as well lol. People will be people and will always have something to say but may you be around for many years more embarking on and releasing new books and projects. You def have been one of the most influential persons of our modern times in the lifestyle and optimization categories. Be well my friend even though we have never met.

I believe the difference is it’s knowledge from impressive people that may not have time to do the podcast and specifically directed towards answering big questions, not just their routines, purchases and knowledge they are most known for like Tools of Titans. If you subscribe to the newsletter you get the first chapter which really gives you a great idea. Hope that helps :)

Tim is one of the worlds smartest and most handsome men, but the comments/followers are maybe the worst I´ve ever read. What´s wrong with you guys? Jealousy must be the answer. Hair, no hair, muscles, less muscles, not thin, too thin - who the fuck cares? To use the old 2005 saying; Get a life!

Take care of your self, start with taking care of your self and loving yourself. It all starts with what you think and feel about you! Take care Eddie!

Also, is an augmented reality VR Tim in the works cause having all the knowledge you've gleaned into one app where you appear in my own space when I need it would be life changing.

I think the reason the book is so thick is that it is written in a 12.5 font if not larger, large spaces between chunks of text, and a lot of filler. I would not be surprised if two pages could have fit on to one page.

He can have whatever look he wants, and the beard is kinda cool. However, there IS something else that's different about his appearance. Try covering the lower half of his face with your hand in front of the screen (as if he was wearing a mask/balaclava). You'll realize there's something about the way he looks. Looks as in "looks". He stares. In a weirdly intense way.
Another thing to try, is pausing the video at random, to freeze various micro-expressions. In another one of his recent videos where some people commented he looked drunk, he indeed looked like a super-drunk (like the drunk samurai in the classic movie Seven Samurai) when pausing the video. Something about that intense staring. Come to think of it: I was at a concert last Friday, where I met an old friend who was really drunk. The intensity was the same: he really REALLY had something important/profound to tell me (which it wasn't).
Not saying Tim's drinking. Just really wondering about this. If you add his "black hole" private life (apparently single, no kids... for how long? Forever?) I can't help wondering what's up with him. Especially now that he's turned 40.
Also: it's easy to be a productivity guru when you're a young single. Where the rubber meets the road is when you have to be productive while being something for someone else (kids, partner, etc). Not saying that to discredit him - just wondering...

    • @katherinek2709
      @katherinek2709 6 ปีที่แล้ว

Tim possibly suffers from manic depression. That intense look is kinda common for people with that condition and similar ones where the brain is ping-ponging in a hundred directions at once.
