I've done the exhaust, CAI and Bullydog tune on my last truck to be honest I didn't see anything in the WOW factor hardly noticeable so in my opinion it was a waste of money. Sure it sounds and looks good that's all . Canned tunes do very little in any performance gains . Just bought a 17 High Country 6.2L and installed a drop in performance filter and Airaid intake tube all just to tidy up under the hood. It's a beast just with that upgrade. Folks save your money and do a custom tune the sealed factory air box with a good intake tube and filter will give just as good results. My MPG went down with those upgrades on my last truck and it wasnt because i drove it with to the rug either was babied .All those advertised gains are not real world besides who drives WOT all the time to see those so called gains.
Can you get these chips for older vehicles? like an 89? I am sorry I am not too knowledgeable on chips and computer upgrade, I hope to be one day though!!
don't be suprised when your stainless exhaust pipes on that kit start to rust, mine did after 1 winter. Same exact kit but I do live in Canada where everything rusts 5 times as fast. and can you turn off V4 mode with that programmer? That is something you definitely want to do after you install an exhaust system!!!
Definitely getting a cold air intake and exhaust system for my 15 sierra. What it really needs though is a tune. And i have wanted and will probably get a black bear tune. I just worry about voiding the warranty. Though i read you can just get a second PCM and change them out. Really love the sound after the cold air intake. Does the programmer you got void your warranty? What made you go airrad over K&N? Though they look identical in design to me..
I also put the shorty headers on mine, 6.0L got a 1.5 to 2 MPG better. I also went from a 265/75/16 to a 285/75/16. If I would put the 265's back on it, it would ad 1.5 to 2 MPG more. 1500HD 2003 4 door. I have the Bulldog.
So all together I'd say 800 for the exhaust, 500 for the programmer, and 300 for the CAI.. So 1600.. I think in my situation I should just re-gear to 4.10's. I have the American thunder on my sierra, same year.. no cai, or programmer tho. The truck prolly has the 3.08 rear end.. I think the 3.42 rear end is nice tho.. well it was before I threw on a 7" lift and 35's... lookin like a re gear is in order.. lol. Nice truck. If u care to look, check out my sierra.. same color at least haha. Thanks for the video man.
its weird that he was 14.7 after .. mines stock and thats about what i get but i don't abuse it either, so i hope he was at least getting closer to 16 by the end.
C.edwards Lauderdale Not my video, but I have a KN intake in my 14 and I have had no issues with the dealer, and I have had 2 free oil changes and a warranty issue since the install. I also have a level kit which they have said nothing about. I personally think my intake was worth it, I got it on sale though. Be warned, it makes the truck a lot louder than stock when you get on the gas.
your power rating is to high of guess. when you mod intake and exhaust without tune you are leaning out 14.7 to 18. tune yield fuel increase and timing. when all 3 parts work together don't stack Hp claims.
and continue to waste money with Diablo as well instead of getting a custom EFI live tune. These plug and play tunes do very little. Custom EFI is the way to go.

NONE of that voids the warranty. As a GM accessory, they offer exhaust systems from the dealer. The cold air intake doesnt affect the MAS or anything else. Its still a filter. The programmer can be programmed back to stock and operates within the factory computer limits.
I have a 2014 bro and honestly get a real tune. A handheld programmer won't help you at all. I have a basic street tune from my local tuner @neweratuning on Instagram and my truck chirps tires after 1&2nd gear and it flies on E85
No they do not smh. Stop listening to others who don't know what they are talking about. A flowmaster will increase flow on a stock truck. Just adding a exhaust on stock truck like this does really nothing except change the sound but it don't hurt it. I promise u a flowmaster exhaust flows better then a stock exhaust which has a huge restricted muffler and a resonator! Go to a car show and I guarantee u 80% of the cars have flowmaster.
+BLACKLACDTS you can't be serious lol,only reason cars at car shows have them is for the sound,Flowmaster are more restrictive than factory mufflers,dyno research has proven this more than once on more than 1 car/truck.
