The K&N 63-3082 performance air intake system was designed for 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500/GMC Sierra 1500 V8 and 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe/GMC Yukon/Cadillac Escalade V8 models.
This intake system delivers an estimated gain of 10.7 horsepower at 5,341 RPM and 8.5 lb. ft. of torque at 4,391 RPM when tested on the K&N dynamometer.

I just installed one on my 2014 Silverado and the sound and throttle response is awesome
My wife got me one for Christmas. I put it on and man it changed the whole sound of my '14 Silverado. I have Magnaflow exhaust, it mixed with the induction nose from this CAI has dropped my mpg's down because now I can't keep my foot out of it!

I would argue that just using the Drop In K&N high flow filter will produce about the same with way less cabin noise. Save your money!
Installed in about 45 min (probably would have been faster if my garage wasn't 30 degrees...), sounds GREAT, throttle response a little better, everything else is about the same. I went with this and a chrome exhaust tip instead of an exhaust. Gave me the aggressive sound without any drone and still the stock sound when you aren't in it. Sound is VERY aggressive, great if you want it, not so much if you don't.
Does it void the manufacturer warranty? I have a 2015 Silverado 6.2L and I want to add an intake.

Used this on my 17 High Country 6.2L for the HP not worth the money sure it looks and sounds good but that's about it. My advice save your money for custom tune. The factory air box and a drop in performance will give the same benefits and a third of the cost.

If you can afford a 6.2 high country(which you can’t cuz that’s a bullshit story) the last thing you’d complain about is a name brand CAI that nets you another 10-12hp while looking good and sounding great for $250 😂
chris loofboro maybe he can afford the 6.2 cus he doesn’t spend money on shit that doesn’t really work. Factory Airbox with a MIT performs better than most “cold” air intakes. Facts.

i live in canada would this void my warrant or is this the same answer as the united states?
Caused my truck to stall out at full throttle. Throttle response was no where to be found. If you do a performance intake buy a tuner as well.

Do these actually help with gas mileage ? I've heard where you really don't see or feel a difference but I want one so bad ha ! Hey k&n what if I had this specific CAI in my truck and I was visiting California for a week and I just happened to get pulled over would I get a ticket even tho I was just visiting for the week ? Or how would they know I'm packing this specific CAI?

however I have a 2014 silverado with the warranties ect like if I were to have my truck worked on for whatever reason "at dealership" this won't void the warranty right?? I'd like to know if this one doesn't void any of the warranty
