Hello, I recently go this model and am having trouble setting it up correctly. My intention is to get it up to boiling and maintain that temperature for about 2 hours then turn itself off. Does the ITC-100VH have this capability? And if so I would appreciate any asistance.
Hello,
Thanks for your message.
Sorry, the ITC-100VH does not have a time function, it is unable to maintain temperature for about 2 hours then turn itself off.
@@INKBIRD-official Thanks for the answer.
good day sir do you have other video or diagram wiring omron e5cn-q2h03t-flk with solid state relay for my incubator?
Hello,
Please understand that we are the INKBIRD brand.
Please contact omron for their video or diagram wiring.
Thanks.
Please stop it with the music and explained what you are doing.
Agree, 8 minutes of my life that I will never get back.
Hi, thanks for the video. I recently got a ITC 100 for a powder coating oven.
I cant seem to get the system to be very accurate. it does what happened at 6:50' on your video -> Even if the temperature in the room is higher than the temperature wanted, it doesn t stop from turning on the output.
Then in your video it settles down and work perfectly but you dont show the settings you entered ti get it perfectly accurate. Could you help?
Thanks
+Robin Zeitoun did you ever get an answer to this???? Mine does the exact same thing... it overshoots by a huge amount and never stops firing the SSR!
+Zack Richey nop... I ended up returning it and getting another PID and then it worked perfectly fine. I think they have a big issue with the thermocouple... I suggest you to get another brand..
+Robin Zeitoun thanks for the info - I'm using PT100 RTDs... Is that what you used? They are reading within 0.4°C of the correct value, so wonder what's wrong...
+Zack Richey not too sure mate. I ended up never finishing my project ( powder coating oven). have you checked that your wiring is sound?
+Robin Zeitoun quadruple checked
can this be hooked up to 2 100amp ssr's?
Is this the device I would build to heat plates for a Rosin Press? Like this will produce heat as well as read the tempature?
Alazia Johnson I've bought those for the exact same reason. But i didn't ended up finishing the press yet. But they should work perfectly for that.
This isn't a heater. It's a temperature control/switch module. You'd still need the heating system. These simply turn it off or on at a set temperature.
Yes i agree
Very good video....
Kindly upload i-therm Nx-781 controller ka setting video for 25 kg electrode dryer oven. Thankyou...
Thanks for your message, but we do not have i-therm Nx-781 controller.
Muy bueno estos videos felicidades maestro saludos desde Monterrey
Don't use a jumper cable between pins 4 and 5 if using a K type thermocouple probe , it sends the PID whacky
Just connect negative lead to pin 3 and positive lead to pin 4
please help I can not get into cod mode. everyone says go to lck and do value of 1000. but I can only enter 3 digits not 4 and if I use 100 for the lck I only get option sl1 sl2 sl3 and sl4. and the first 3 I can not change the value of. I can only change the value of sl4. how do I get into cod mode? I pushed and held set and left button but it will not come up. I have a rex-c100
I have the exact issue, were you able to resolve this?
Please provide a video on how to program/setup the controller parameters. Thanks!!
Thank you for your suggestion, we will arrange the video in the future, please stay tuned. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you meet problems, we will reply in 24 hours.Thank you.

Hello...could anyone tell which mode should i select for the alarm 1 and alarm 2 of my p731 Pid , to activate their buzzers just for 10 Celsius duration? (alarm 1 from 380-380C & alarm 2 from 390-400C) ? 1) Upper or lower limit alarm 2) upper or lower limit deviation , 3) upper & lower deviation alarm, 4) within range alarm ???? ( I have the option also to set the alarm 1 and alarm 2 deviation ) . Thank you so much
so could i run two 12v PTC 77*62mm heating elements on a single solid state relay or would i need to of them?
I am trying to run 4 heaters off of this exact setup. Is this possible? Thanks
How do you wire the alarm on the ITC 106rl
Where can I get the wiring diagram you have, would be very handy to study

One of the best Great video tutorial, thank you for sharing your knowledge ♥️
please can you help mee ... ? how can i make a system to measure a temperature of a plastic part and then according to it it is heated to 25 ° c max by an infrared lamp and PID regulator
What's the difference between ITC-100VH and ITC-100RH?
+Enrico Giacomin Thank you for your question.
ITC-100VH is SSR output, 100-240V
ITC-100RH is relay output, 100-240V.
Thank you. I have a doubt about the calibration. If I connect to the Pid an Rtd pt100 by using a copper wire of 8 ohm...can I set/calibrate the controller with the additional 8 ohms carried by the wire?
What is terminal 2's function?

@@INKBIRD-official Thank you for responding well, and good luck always😎
I bought the ITC-106VH. It came with the K sensor. But the temperature is inaccurate. The Pid is set to Heat and its set to work with the K sensor. The PID works but my Infrared thermometer says its about 100 degrees off. Is it possible the thermocouple is faulty? if so whats a better Type of sensor?
tomasm87 it just means you have to calibrate the thermocouple in its settings lol
Infrared is always problematic because of the surface and the infrared of the environment!
What purpose does the jumper wire between 4 and 5 serve?
+Jeff Gordon Yes. You are right.
I don't see any explanation anywhere, but I tested the PID with and without the jumper. Without the jumper I got temperature readings in celcius, with the jumper the temperatures changed to farenheit, so I assume that's what it does.
hello i have done this setup with the same suplies temp Works fine but when i set temp to 190 celcius it overshoot to 350 and let it cool down again to 190. can anybody help me out ?
Hello .... very interesting your video ... I just bought an ITC 106 VH kit ... could you tell me an installation video for that model please?
Can you wire two heaters with this setup (do you need two separate relays or just wire each heater to the single relay)?
+Ellada4 If you want to control the 2 heater separately, you need 2 ITC-100VH. But if you want to control them the same time, then 1 ITC-100VH is ok.
hi, Great video.
Could you help, in the same video´s example how can i connect a timer that when get a determinate temperature stars working the timer and after a specific time discconenct all the equipment. the idea is just to add a timer in the video´s example.
Thank you your answer.

+zq123456 Hi, could you please tell what type of your timer?

Hi, i will be honest, this is the first time that i have to do something like this, so i just have calculated the electrical resistence , looking on intenert i found your video that is exactly i need i just need to add a digital timer , i dont know more time ´s characteristics.
If you can help me will be great, and I would thank you for his willingness , If you can suggesting me one , wiil be great or if you just can give me a position in thw diagram will be great.
Best regards
Hi, actually we have our customers who used our IDT-E2RH timer to connect the PID temperature controller: www.amazon.com/Inkbird-Digital-Switch-110-220V-IDT-E2RH/dp/B008KV65MS/ref=sr_1_28?srs=10796996011&ie=UTF8&qid=1462945823&sr=8-28
But regret to tell that I cant attach the wiring of the timer here.
Maybe you could send message to our FB page: facebook.com/InkbirdLAB/

I have bought and installed this PID. It works quite well but it overshoots by a lot! (like 60°C) What setting do I have to change? I don't understand your "manual".
+MU Knives Thank you for using our item! Could you please have a kindly check whether there is something wrong with the sensor or the settings of the sensor?
If there is no problem of both of them, please have a try to set the SC=-60.
Do a Autotune once...
How do I do this? The instructions are unclear. Whenever I try to autotune, "AT" flashes on whatever temp I set, but it never stops, and no settings ever change. I keep getting overshoots as well, what am I doing wrong?
Which type relay using
SOLID STATE RELAY
Great clear and easy to understand video. Thanks! Are you able to put two relays on this? i.e. you wished to have two lights?
Fueanglada Srineul
Thank you for your question ,but it's one output relay and one alarm relay,so I'm unable to put two relays on this.
+Inkbird Smart Home i have a model selec dtc331 .can not understanding the conections.pls can u help me?
Sorry, but this is not really particularly helpful. All you did was do exactly what the diagram said, no explaining why you do any of it or what the reason for connecting stuff that way is. It's an 8 minute commercial.
I'd have loved an explanation of the step by step.
Instead of "Remember, connect these together", an explanation of WHY they must be connected together - stuff like that.
Mine doesn't act like this at all :( It sometimes will turn itself off 15C from target, and pulse from below that, like its trying to anticipate heat up from the pulse, sometimes realizing it won't make it. I wish It would take it self 5-10C above target and come back on when getting back down toward the target :(.. Maybe I have its settings wrong. It is most definitely wired right though.
Also, at certain temperature ranges, like around 500c, and 700c, it will all of a sudden drop 100C below that, and start counting up again from there. Always the same temperature everytime it drops. It's strange. I don't have an IR thermometer to read high enough though to double check.. but up to 380C it's definitely what it says it is.
Can't even follow his own wiring diagram.
You connected phase to the PID on what is listed as the neutral on your diagram
Thanks for your feedback, we will improve the video and service.
how to connect PID Temperature Controller for Heating/Cooling togheter with only one ITC-100Vh?

That music is totallly unnecessary, intrusive and distracting. Anyway, it would have been more easy to follow if the items were fixed to a board, and all shown in a wide shot so we can tell where each wire is coming from and going to. The only time we see that is for half a second at 5.29.
