It's just like the other cases. All these kinds of people who go missing disappear under vastly strange circumstances. Theres a pattern which makes it so eerie. I think this world is far older than we would like to give credence to. Its one of two things; an ancient supernatural being or beings that take people to do God knows what with or its extra terrestrials that take us to.. again.. do God know what with 👀 either way, we know that whatever it is its malevolent in nature. I'll never go into deep woods after learning of missing 411

I think there's more to these disappearances than we're told by officials. I heard they don't want to tell 100% truth for fear of losing money from people too afraid to go into any national parks. Everything these day is about money, so it all make sense with all these holes in the story, or just seems weird. I mean the best hunters/trackers can't even find them. Animals leave tracks, rub against trees, leave droppings, etc. UFOs & aliens are real. I believed in ghost, told to me by my sister & mom, though I have never seen a ghost. So I'm pretty sure there's supernatural entities or creatures out there that we're not being told, or have yet to encounter & live to tell about it.

Hey bro I’m from Southwest PA too, Somerset County. There’s a movie here on TH-cam about Chestnut Ridge I can’t remember what it’s called though. You’re right about weird stuff up there, I saw a green orb when I was squirrel hunting as a kid and I saw a UFO up on Laurel Mountain. My dad saw a thunderbird when he was hunting as a kid back in the 60’s. Take care bro.

I didn't mention this, but it's odd that they found footprints 10 miles away, and then the bodies in the end were over Bob's Creek. That means that they can't have found the footprints over the creek as it was never searched

I don't know why children are not given credit for being capable of going really far, and faster than you'd think. They can climb way more easily than an adult (less energy to push a little body and you're so close to the ground already). I say this from experience. When I was 4 years old I took off from a market and tried going back home across a desertscape alone. I remember it somewhat. It was about a 3-mile walk as the crow flies and that is how I walked back- straight across a 2-lane highway into the desertscape that led to a 2-row area of newly built homes in the desert of Buckey, AZ, 1973. I climbed down into a man-made ditch that was enormous in my eyes and then back up it and got home totally dirty. My parents were shocked and so was the cop that was called. When you're little you have nothing but energy, and fear is just pushing that into overdrive. If a child is lost you should always start looking twice as far as you'd think they got to then work backward (while working forward) most kids won't stop if scared. I personally was not a people-trusting sort of child so I would also never have looked to a stranger for help. Keep Trackers On The Tots!

I can attest to the weather being horrible here.. it's been up to 80°F maybe 2 weeks so far this year, this week mostly in the 60s °F & it got down to 42°F last night. The winds are so bitingly bitter & strong, (especially in winter) that I built 2 removable walls on my raised side porch & built a removable wall beneath it.. just to slightly buffer the cold & wind stepping off the front porch to get to the car. So I can understand why everyone was so worried about the boys being out in the weather around here..

To be fair the log crossing the stream would have made it possible for the boys to cross. If several doctors said they died of starvation and exhaustion, I don't really see why we should second guess that, it seems evident at least that there weren't any clear signs of violence.

    Hi Adam!
Thank you for the video, this story was truly bizarre, though regarding the recurring dream Jacob kept having about the location of George and Joseph, I watched an Unsolved Mysteries episode about an older lady named Millie who went missing in the Sierra Nevada mountains while out on a hike and the SAR people couldn't find her but this guy who lives in the area had a vision of her exact location so him and a friend went with him and they found her and brought her down off the mountain. Excellent content as always! I look forward to your next video.

The most unusual part of this case for me is that these 2 boys lived in this small cabin in the Spruce Hollow woods for five years - so really all their young lives. It was breakfast... daylight. You would think these two boys would know every inch of the woods for a 200 yard circumference around their home. It's so perplexing how they became lost in the first place.
The dream doesn't feel unusual to me at all. I've always been a bit psychic so perhaps I am more open to that sort of thing. Years ago, I had a dream that I was standing on the steps of a farmhouse I have never been to before. There was a bright moon out and a figure in a white shirt approached down a long drive lined with trees. As it came closer I realized it was my grandfather (who IRL was in his 90's) but this man was in his prime - 30's or 40's. He walked up the drive into the open area in front of the steps, stopped and smiled at me. He did not speak. Then he turned and walked away down the drive. I called after him and followed, but as happens in dreams even though I was running and he was walking I could not catch up to him and he vanished into the night. I woke feeling shaken, as though this dream was more than a dream. I finally fell back asleep. The next morning I got the call that my grandfather had passed away in the night.

I have heard this story. I live in south central PA currently. I’ve been in the Allegheny Forest. The forest is overwhelming to say the least. I can’t imagine what it was like 100+ years ago. Seeing that many adults at the time were not confident in their own ability to navigate the forests, I do believe the boys just were turned around and confused when they went to help find their dog. They may have panicked and increased speed due to increased adrenaline levels. Plus there were wolves and mountain lions living there at the time. Being frightened and lost along with their youth could have driven them further away and sadly led them to their demise. Jacobs dream seems to me to be a case of remote viewing. Possibly brought on due to his kind nature and worry of the boys. He was very likely keeping them in his thoughts which triggered a remote viewing experience. He thought it was a very vivid reoccurring dream which does seem to make sense for the time. Anyway sad story however the family did get closure. Thanks for the video. Peace ✌🏼

the tragedy of this case, is that in the attempt to make the search more effective the searchers actually missed any chance to rescue the boys. If they hadn't assumed it was impossible for the boys to cross the stream, they might have found them before they succumbed.

its not unusal for some one to dream of missing people. There was a pretty cool case on Unsolved Mysteries where a hiker got lost and search and rescue spent 2 or so days looking for her with no luck. Random farmer read about it in the paper and just said, they're looking on the wrong side. grabbed his mules and headed over. no one listened to him and all he could say was a gut feeling, shes right in that spot on the hill. so he went up with his mules and came back down with the missing hiker.

I don't necessarily believe in psychic dreams, but I do believe that some people are more sensitive in picking up even just minor changes to their environment. Though Jacob didn't know the woods, he may have seen birds such as vultures flying around in that general area. He may not have known the exact location, but it would only make sense that children would try to find a place to take cover such as the base of a tree, and that children have the tendency to undress as they're getting closer to bed. Since they would still be cold, they may have just taken off their shoes before they got to the base of the tree, so it would not necessarily be strange to find a shoe that was not on one of the boys' feet. His mind just put everything together and he had a dream that some did all up for him.
My aunt was a nurse's aide. She came home one day and just said hi to her father, gave him a kiss and then went to bed. She work tonight shift so this was during the day and her father, my grandfather, would still be up watching TV when she got home. While she slept, she had a dream that he needed her. She got up and ran to him, and he'd had a heart attack. I don't think it was a psychic connection that let her to have the dream, but rather she picked up on small things that were telltale signs of a heart attack, possibly a slight increase in breathing heavy, maybe his skin feeling clammy, things like that, and maybe even she heard him call out and his sleep and her mind put it together in a dream that she needed to go to him. So I think a lot of cases of psychic dreams are more just a sensitivity to our surroundings that allow us to bring it all together. And since my aunt was a nurse's aide, she was maybe more astute than others about putting the signs together.

If it's not real, why would the US government participated in remote viewing & psychic warfare? I myself, have seen my future once. One time in the 80's as a teen, I dreamed of digging in my front yard & laying brick tiles down. Didn't tell anyone about it. A few years later, deja vu. Same exact spot. In the 70's when living in Vietnam, I would have the same exact nightmare over & over & over again. It starts out as me going upstairs. I would muck around, then get chase by a ghost, I would rush to the stairs & fall down & that's when I would wake up all sweaty as a kid. I didn't tell my grandparents about it. When I moved to America in 1980, that nightmare stopped.

There are places , including our property ,where you will swear you are being watched by something malicious......Twice , up in the woods in my cabin tent , all zipped and buttoned up inside , I have awoken in the night knowing , with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY , that the feet of something was standing just inchs from my head , and that the extream stench of something dead and rotting filled my tent.....It went away after just a minute .....At other times I have smelt sulfer up here at my off-grid spot and can feel something watching me............(The Satan worshippers are known to meet in the next vally ....At an abandoned , lost cemetery not 2 miles away , in the 70s some of the graves were dug-up and the skulls taken.......I remember it well......).... I'M NOT SCARED....IF YOU START THROWING THE NAME OF JESUS AROUND LIKE YOU WERE SPRINKELING HOLY WATER , THEY DONT STICK AROUND LONG ....(not kidding !)....

So sad. My parents taught me at a young age if I ever get lost in the woods that I stay put. Something every kid should learn even if you don't live anywhere near the woods. I'm sure they would've been found if they stayed in one area after realizing they couldn't find their way home. At least they were together

I have prophetic dreams all the time. Many of them come true, but I stay quiet.
For example, I told my friends in the mid-90s that all movie film will be obsolete, and they would digitally create higher quality movies, than movie film, without tapes or film. I also predicted that no one would read paper books, that they would look at a screen, and swipe their finger across to turn the pages. If only I had pursued these concepts myself, when I had the dreams!

Unfortunately, I think the reason they couldn't find them initially came down to now-outdated search tactics. Today, we understand that young children may become scared of searchers they don't already know and hide, or take confusing, sometimes circular paths due to poor navigation skills. When an area is "already searched", that doesn't mean every foot has been, and they could easily double back. Since they grew up so isolated, I could easily imagine them scared of unfamiliar men hunting them through the woods and doing their best to evade them. The wilderness out there is deep and rugged, especially back then.

Every night I hear dogs barking, creatures of the night. I live in a busy little town surrounded by olive groves and small farms with fruit trees and nuts. Dog ownership is common. But nothing happens here. It is a quiet uneventful town with no reason for dogs to be barking. Yet, not a night goes by without barking from several dogs as if at the moon.

what a mystery!...Endless possibilities but a few things stand out to me rightly or wrongly. Jacob's wife appears to recognise the location of his dream...amazing considering the scale of the landscape... Also the fact that humans can survive without water for only 3 - 6 days!...and that's when the ransackers and the dream come into the story ....As a side note last week saw on tv a movie called "Force on Thunder Mountain" 1978! B movie with some possible supernatural connections

There's a possibility that once he heard that the boys were lost and hadn't been found in the obvious places, that his subconscious remembered there was a way across the river that the boys might have found and ended up in a place no one expected. That doesn't explain his knowing exactly how they'd be found, but often the mind continues to problem-solve during the night.

Native Americans avoided the Allegheny mountains. All of the old Native American trails go way around them. Their tribal histories say that a tribe of extremely violent cannibals live there. Some of the accounts say that they were giants.

I have lived my entire life within 10 miles of the boys monument. I have visited the site more than a few times. I have hunted the area often and the country is steep and winding. I wouldn't call it rugged but very confusing if you're not familiar with it. Every hill and holla looks just like the next one and the next one etc.. Something that I have never heard addressed in the telling of this story is the state of the forest itself. The area was being heavily logged in the period the boys disappeared. If the area had been logged and was a “chopins” ( logged area with discarded tree tops, limbs and stumps) It would have been extremely difficult to search. McCarthy's book has more than a few exaggerations but seems to be true to the basic story. Bob’s Creek is not large at all. It has never produced a wave 3ft. tall. It can be easily crossed many places even by a child. The boys clearly were able to cross it. It is still considered an odd mystery to this day. People still leave small gifts of toys at the monument for the young boys.

hello ive watched a few of your strange disappearance"s , what seems to be as being very odd is, every time someone goes missing ,and a search party is formed awful weather then decends ,the fact that those dogs couldn't pick up a cent ,and the strangest of all is when the military get involved ,that speaks to me of Alien activity, i think some of the disappeared where got by crazed things living in those huge forests,....also i think a lots of those hikers where deluding themselves into thinking they were experts, who in their right mind goes for a hike at three in the afternoon in winter?? i also think some of those park rangers were inadequate for the job..

I have heard of this case before but never gave it more thought. This case I would not put in the same circumstance as those with the missing shoes/ clean socks.
The commenter who pointed out the commotion with the dog being a sign that there was something there that should not be makes sense. But the ultimate cause of their deaths was starvation and, though not mentioned, probably exposure. There was no sign of a third party. I am in the camp that it was a sad case of children getting lost in the wilderness.
