I visited the PRIMITIVE WILD BUSHCRAFT CAMP with my dog amber to make a few improvements and cook up some chicken over an open fire. The stealth moss roof fort / shelter has recently survived a storm that took down a few trees! As a person with Bipolar 2, I love being outdoors as much as possible, being away from society and people as an escape for me. Watching your work and videos really has helped me so very much, people may laugh at my comment but I don't care. Loved when AMBER helped you dig the roots ---- great footage if you ever do a video completely from AMBER's point of view. Have you tried wedging a plastic water bottle into your ceiling as a light diffractor/diffuser?

I use a rub with my baked or grilled chicken and then I let it sit in the fridge for 24 hours. It is super tasty. Rub: 1Table spoon of cumin, curry powder, paprika, garlic powder. 1/2 tablespoon of pink sea salt and 1/2 tablespoon Cayenne pepper. Mix the spices together in a spice bottle and rub into the chicken. You are climbing along with those subs. 100k in no time. Cheers Dustin.

I'd love to see you dig this out to the point where you can stand in it, then cover the roof with the mud and then lay your living roof over it. If you did the work of collecting and laying the mud out the day before a mild rain, you could use the moisture to semi-root the moss on the roof. Then you could use ferns around the base to colonize the roof and strengthen it at the same time.

Ive just finished making my First Beating Staff and looking forward to trying to get some nice Hazel staffs like the one you took , to dry them out and make some more Thumbstick/Beating staffs. It's so strange to see the way the trees fall over there, with their shallow root system. Around here it takes 100+ mph winds and the rootballs are at least 10ft deep and the roots are broken off.
Now quit talking to imaginary peoples and hold Amber's paws...lol She's quite insistent. :D

I Like the Door', Fits the "Stealthy Profile". I have a Pocket of 30 tree's in my yard and I have a roll of Shrink Wrap coming about 1000' x 18" and I was wanting to make something to camp in here and then, you have any idea's for something like that ?
Maybe a simple lean-to shelter.....line the inside of the roof with a survival blanket aswell.

@@private15 what I would do is mix up some concrete put it over the whole structure put some dirt leaves now you got a concrete structure that's fully hidden
@@kevingilmore5815 I would wonder if the whole structure would then lose its breathability factor. He often brings the little wood stove and pipes it out the roof. But I'd be concerned about the possible smoke and fumes build up if it was all concrete. Even if he was still piping the main smoke out. Also, I'm not sure what level the water table is there, digging 2 or 3 feet might hit a wet area. Of course, since I live in flat Florida USA, the water table is more of a problem.
