    Personally, I like the big case because of one big reason. I wear hearing aids. They cost $3,000 each. I put them in the Milwaukee case when I wear the ear buds. They stay safe, clean and I wont easily misplace the case. Just my thought.

    I’m a heavy equipment mechanic and I work in an underground gold mine in northern Ontario, Canada and I have to say that these Milwaukee ear bud are amazing for my line of work because I can be working under a 48 inch ventilation fan working on any piece of equipment in the mine we’ll playing my music and still listening to our radio for the next service call coming in. When I go into a quieter heading to work on a piece of equipment these ear buds work like hearing aids so I can still listen to music while having a conversation with the operator. I work a 11 hour shift and when I’m on my lunch break I put them back in there case to stay clean and charge up and they last the whole shift so just another amazing tool from Milwaukee.

    The big case might be good in the sense that you can find it in your tool bag or box. However, they can still just come out with a smaller case and give you the option to purchase it for like $30 or something. And I would definitely buy these, but only when they go on sale for like $130.

    Perfect timing! Thank you so much for this review. I almost bought the festool ear buds but read some complaints about the sound and mic quality. Makes sense, since they're rebranded isotunes free awares. I have 3m worktunes, but really don't want to wear bulky ear protection any more. Gonna grab a set of these. Thanks again.

    They looks a lot like my JBL UnderArmor. They're great, the only problem with those charging pins is they get dirty or slightly corroded easily, making the earbud not charging when in the case. I have to cleab them often with rubbing alchool and a q-tip.

    • @WorkshopAddict
      @WorkshopAddict  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      This sounds gross, but is my reality. I have the same pins on my Samsung earbuds and they are always oily. They get ouly from my sweat and from my fingers removing them. I do clean them often. That makes me wonder how these could corrode. With that said, the Milwaukee earbuds do not sit in the ear as far so may stay cleaner.

    If i didn't already have Pixel Buds Pro I'd jump on the Milwaukee's. This case is large and im sure id complain about it pretty often but if I'm completely honest, I lose the small cases in my room or truck all the time, convenient until it's not.

    • @WorkshopAddict
      @WorkshopAddict  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I get that! The only reason I can find my samsung case easily is because it is white. If that was black, it would probably be lost in a vehicle somewhere.

    I think this is designed for the worker as opposed to the average person.
    Acts as ear plugs to reduce noise exposure that can cause hearing loss over time.... but I wonder if using the buds at a certain volume would also do the same? I feel like they would be great at the job site for the people running power tools and or small machinery.

  • @operator8014
    @operator8014 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    The one reaching low battery before the other is actually by design. These earbuds(and most others) will trade off certain duties with each other as battery level allows.
    The earbud with more battery life will do the power-hungry job of communicating with your phone, and then efficiently hand the data to the other earbud. Once that earbud has been doing that for awhile and the battery has drained below the level of the other, the earbuds will switch jobs. This swap can happen only every 20 minutes or so to keep you from noticing the change.
    This power saving feature is also why you will sometimes have good or bad connection to your phone, as the signal is sometimes getting sent through more or less of your body(huuuuge interference source).

      I use the ISo-Tune Free wireless earbuds, or I did. The main thing I like about the free model is the size of the earbud and the case.
