    I finally got myself a pair of the hard to find (at least for a while they were) Milwaukee RED Lithium JobSite Earbuds..... And they did not disappoint. I mainly wanted them for the Jobsite Mode where they let you hear everything around you, almost amplified a little so you have super hearing, and then the second you run a tool or swing a hammer it will noise cancel the high dB and protect your ears. This is the sole reason I bought them, but they obviously do everything else you'd want from an Bluetooth earbud. They play music, answer phone calls and have the start and stop functions you'd want.
    I Tested them out for a while now on the job site and I have nothing but great things to say about them. Yes they were not cheap, but they weren't too bad when you compare them to other brands that have similar functions. They knock out the competition with the 70 hours of charging time....that is way above the others. And when you compare apples to apples they are the same or maybe slightly cheaper that the other brands. And of course the added bonus is that is from ‪@MilwaukeeTool‬ So they are built to last and will go with all your other RED tools on the job site.

    I had to wait almost 6 months but finally picked em up from Platt. Overall I'm highly pleased with sound quality,
    Call quality,
    Distance straight killed it - I left my phone in my shop and walked away to see how good/far the Bluetooth signal would be. I got about 120' away with the conex and metal shop walls between my phone and me wearing the ear buds before the signal began to drop out.
    My Bose earbuds had slightly better staging and bass for music,
    But in my opinion lose on all other aspects of comparison.
    Definitely glad I got these
    Good job Milwaukee

      Awesome man I appreciate that. Yeah there’s a couple other brands that do this feature of job site awareness. But I love these Milwaukee’s. Wear them all the time.

    First of all, awesome video. I want to ask, can you use just one of them, or you need to put both in your ears, for just a phone call or something else?

      Man I love these things. I was holding off for a while cuz they aren’t cheap but I wish I would have gotten them sooner. I throw them in pretty much every day now. So nice not to have to worry about turning on a loud tool and hurting your ears. And the ability to hear everything around you is awesome. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

    Have you tried the isotunes? Was looking into them but these look great too. Should be great for avoiding taking out one plug 100x an hour to hear what someone is trying to say (which is never actually important anyway 🤣)

    • @FortKnoxCo
      @FortKnoxCo  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have actually. That was really the only other brand I was finding that had the active awareness mode while being able to cancel out the loud noises. They make shooting ears and work safety ears that both seem to have that feature. They were right around $199 and maybe a little less on sale.
      But I picked these Milwaukee first because they had the feature I wanted, cost a little bit less and have the 70 hour battery charging case. And of course it was Milwaukee so it went with the tools.
      Might still try isotunes down the road to
      Compare. But I love these ones. Been wearing them everyday

    If there is constant noise and some one talks, can you hear them talking for example you use a grinder and some one talks to you?

    • @FortKnoxCo
      @FortKnoxCo  10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It would be dampening the noise from the grinder being so loud. So you most likely wouldn’t be able to hear them, just as if you were running a grinder without ear protection and someone tried to talk to you, you would t be able to hear them.
      It doesn’t filter and amplify human voices and dampened tool noise. It just react to high decibels and dampens the sound to protect your ears no matter what’s making the noise.
      Otherwise while it’s in job site mode it does amplify slightly ambient sound and allows you to hear people and all other noises.

    When you're receiving a call does it say who is calling ? The ones I have (Bose quietcomfort ANC headphones) has that ability and it's really something I'd miss (I'd like to have a proper hearing protection but I find it really hard to find something that has that "who is calling" feature)

    • @FortKnoxCo
      @FortKnoxCo  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It doesn’t say it in your ear but a quick glance at your watch will tell you. I almost always look at my watch when someone calls as a habit now with having watches and phones interconnected.

    I know you already addressed the issue, but would you recommend them for the range, or are they more practical for a work site?

    • @FortKnoxCo
      @FortKnoxCo  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I think they’d be good for the range. But I don’t know if it’s the “recommended” use. They work off of the loud loose and sound canceling just like other range ears. So I’d say yes. But again, if you hurt your ears I’m not sure if Milwaukee would have any responsibility for it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Will these work well with a constant loud droning noise in the environment, such as a lawn mower or generator?

    • @FortKnoxCo
      @FortKnoxCo  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes. They should block out of mute the sound whenever the loud noise is happening. Like when my air compressor is running it will be working the whole time keeping it quieter.

    • @StariusPrime
      @StariusPrime หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@FortKnoxCo Thanks for the reply! That is good to know. I wonder how use of cancelling prolonged noises affect battery life opposed to just playing audio, but it’s just curiosity on my part. If they do cancel such noises well, I might have to try these out.

    • @FortKnoxCo
      @FortKnoxCo  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@StariusPrime yeah they work pretty well. I wear them everyday out when I’m out building. Haven’t had them die on me. I think they say in their booklet how long the battery life is expected in each mode

    • @FortKnoxCo
      @FortKnoxCo  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It’s not really mean to throw in your pants pocket like air pods, I think they’re intended more of a job side/tool box kinda thing. The 70 hours of charge the case provides is way above others though.

    • @silversoozookee2839

      The case fits easily into my back pocket,
