I took my Demon and Hellcat to Gear Heads and put them on the dyno for a quick head to head stock comparison.
The Hellcat ran at a max of 670.77 HP to the rear wheels and 618.36 LBS of torque. The Demon ran 704.05 HP to the rear wheels and 676.20 LBS of torque.
In the near future, I will be re-testing my Demon with the unlocked PCM installed, high octane race fuel, and high performance air filter.

What I find to be funny, it looks like the Demon was not PDI, with the plastic still on the Wheel. When I picked up mine, it did not have any of that on it. In fact, the Maroney was on the seat and they asked me if I wanted it put up. I frame all of mine in my garage. The Hellcat might be his, but I bet the Demon was not sold or the dealership wanted to see the Dyno numbers. Personally, if it was mine and they did that so new, I would be pissed.

For the same reason it doesn’t come with the skinny wheels installed. It likely isn’t DOT legal. As a manufacturer they can’t sell a car that isn’t legal under current rules. The good ecu probably either can’t pass emissions or has some other reason to not be legal. But, as an aftermarket piece is can be “only for racing” and there’s no restrictions.

Hello from New Zealand! I purchased myself a 17 Yellow Jacket a few months ago, and what a machine! I love her! Not sure if we will ever get a Demon in NZ. As it is these Hellcats sell from 110k-130k for an original shape and 170k for the widebody. Great to see your beautiful cars :)

My Hellcat has much more mileage and my Demon hasn't been broke in yet. But I am confident the Demon will perform better with more mileage. I will be retesting it again once I have some more mileage on it.

Don't forget dodge underrates all of their cars. My stock R/T pulled 341 at the wheel. That's about 405-410 at the crank.

Are you disappointed with the dyno numbers or do you think they will go up as the engine gets loosened up after break-in?
Classic Reaction nope, i am quit pleased. The Gearhead dyno guys advised the Demons numbers where right on the money with what dodge claimed. We are looking forward to the new PCM and race fuel.
The car will make more power after the break in period.
Wrong.....page 42 of the owners manual specifically outlines the break-in procedures for the 6.2 SRT engines.
CSRT4 Ever . sorry the Demon,Hellcat, 392 are all not "broken in" as they say. Follow the break in period advised on the manual/ownership documents. You will be very very happy with the upgraded PCM and race gas. Much horsepower available for the Demons
The Demon's Graph looks very bad Compared to the Hellcat, Was it on 91 octane? The dip at 4200rpm and high RPM looks its pulling timing or maybe extremely rich from the factory? Congrats you gained a new Subscriber looking forward for more results

The "high flow" air filter you mention flows the same as the stock one. The difference will be in the ECU tune and race gas.
TrackDay62 the high flow air filter appears to be open in the front. I don't think it will make a big gain. Hoping the race fuel and new PCM will make a big difference.

Man such a beautiful and amazing machine!! Wish I had the funds to pick on up for myself but I have to many speeding tickets I’m paying on right now on my Challenger. LoL best cars on the market in my opinion that’s for sure!! I have a first year (2010) 5th generation Camaro as well and my Challenger(2015) blows the doors off of it and Camaro even has more HP(roughly 20-30HP) then my Challenger does.

Factor in the 15% drivetrain loss and the Hellcat is making 771.33hp at the crank and the Demon 809.65hp.
