This dragon is what Kefka should have been on the final battle. He's relentless and really counter attacks with strong magic and attacks. Good job. While the art style is divisive. I actually don't mind it - it definitely gives a more nice upgrade for the sprites and the magic spells are nicely done.

There are third party patches to change the sprites and remove the Bilinear Filtering as well as technical improvements that make using things like Cyan and the menus a lot easier. Ont he plus side, at least Gau looks like Gau in this sprite. The complaints about the rising menus are the only complaint that makes me cringe. You should see the alternative menu.
@@Hellwolf36 I thought the ATB gauge used in the way of the rising menu was weird but I guess that we’re trying to play with the schematics and ratio of the screen. Could have been worse but they did what they can. Let’s hope they don’t do that for any more future remakes. Lol. It does annoy the eye and more of a distraction.
That and Throw never misses. I had plenty of Impartisans at the ready. The second reason I brought him was because with his ultimate weapon and with the top end shields, he has near perfect Physical evasion (0:23), allowing me to dodge his (Attack x 8) special. With all the barred moves, I had to improvise and the most common characters people used to slay this boss were on the other 2 parties.

Thanks and this was the Steam/Ios version. The visuals aren't for everyone but the engine makes up for it as it gets rid of a majority of bugs and they reworked Bushido. I personally didn't let it bother me because I am not a pixel hipster.
Dont take this the wrong way, but I have seen BOTH those criticisms from many people to the point is actually annoying. I myself have olayed far worse. Although the rising menus are annoying to some, it serves one advantage: Easier character cycling. The old game you had to press 3 buttons at most to get to a character you needed, which is not only big eater of time but also disastrous on Active. Turning the option off forces you to move to a command to skip, which is VERY innefficient. As for the menus popping up in front, that doesn't bother me too much since I know what's going on in the background. If I knew making a command on Active wasn't safe, I wouldn't have done so. As for graphics, the bilinear filtering is a problem for some but people made patches to remove it. There are some people who have made SNES sprites but they are so pixelated compared to the rest of the game that they come out far worse. If people don't like this version, get VBA, the GBA dump and then patch the audio files on it.
107. I show his Stats screen at 0:30 It is that high because I only use Rock Slide when I am facing high Magic Defense bosses. Most of the time, it was elemental Rages or Yojimbo (Shock). If I solely used Rock Slide, I probably would have gotten 9999 by 80 Magic or so.
Felix Ramirez I feel like they would have fared a lot better if they weren't so bright, the original sprites had much more distinct shading while these just look over the top saturated... which works a bit better for V but here just seems weirdly out of place
You Morph them from 2 monsters within the Dreamscape. You also get 1 from Cultist Tower and Memento Rings are the same thing but only work on Shadow and Relm. If you haven't done Dreamscape yet, bring Ragnarok and Gogo must accompany you so you can Mime Ragnarok over and over until you get it.
Naru Shibazaki You can steal an infinite amount of Safety Bits, but this is only applicable in the Soul Shrine when refacing against Fiend (Doom in SNES Version)

Obviously not. You have to be a brainlet to do something that incredibly stupid. The reason I don't share save files is because I would basically be giving someone all the work that I have done just so someone can play around with the final result instead of making their own playthrough and experimenting with their own playstyle. The most common reason I have also been asked on Steam for save files is because want the King of Beasts achievement and my final save has access to all 253 Rages possible in the Veldt. I made a guide called the Gau Bible so people can do that on their own. Plus I included tips and tricks to how to use God Emperor Gau as good as I do. I call asking for that when resources are available to do it yourself sheer lazyness and I find it more fun and respectable if you play it yourself and earn it the hard way. That is how I roll in (A)(J)Rpgs and especially in life. Even if I could share the files, the laptop they were on died about 7 months ago and there is no Cloud Save feature on the Steam version.
First off, it is still work to get from Point A (the start) to Point B (this point) through your input. Work as defined as: >Physical or mental effort or activity directed toward the production or accomplishment of something. I am using physical and mental effort directed toward the accomplishment of 100%ing FF6. By giving someone a savefile, I have basically given all the work done so that someone access to Point B without them having to lift a finger, with all the A->B portion negated. A shortcut in my books is getting from A->B faster but you still need to put the work in to execute the shortcut. It is also not fun by my standards to have everything given to me on a silver platter without challenge or risk and I am merely upholding my beliefs towards others. Plus, when you look up on YT and you see every person left and right do the same thing, it kinda gets redundant after awhile.

As much as I won't deny the lethality of that spam, it has quite a few flaws. The Genji Glove and Master Scroll together sacrifices any Status Defense you have and all it takes is one unlucky Death spell and its GG. You also give up defense from the shield so a move like Last Breath or even Omega Drive is a OHKO. Plus, Valiant Knife and Ultima Weapon are just unaffected by Master Scroll penalty and that's not cool either. I can at least tolerate the Fixed Dice, but it would suck if I rolled a low roll 4 times. The only person who can adequately pull it off and have defenses is Strength Gau using Garm (Bodyslam, Attack x1.5 but status immunity to most effects). The only multi hit attacks I allow are Genji Glove without Master Scroll (you attack twice but lose armor) or Tempest (you have to charge this to near maximum and it doesn't factor in Weapon Damage or Effects, just Strength). I am not denying Ultima is a powerful spell, but when it has a spell power of 150, hits everything, bypasses Defense/Reflect and basically makes even Cyan or Edgar (who have terrible magic) do 9999 and anyone can learn it... it's like what the hell. Plus, you can dualcast this with Thamasa, reduce it's cost to 1 with Celestriad. If it was dimmed down to what Meteor or Quasar were, then I would aaccept it. Phantom Rush is an iffy, but it is essentially an Ultima to 1 enemy and the only catch is an easy clockwise button press on Blitz. But the moment you see Sabin on the team's lineup, this attack is gonna get spammed. Only Ragng Fist can match it, but you need like 100+ Strength. Quick is just down right broken, with the only downsides being an MP cost and self buff. I used it a long time ago when I did coop with someone and I regretted doing it. I only used it in FF5 because I wanted to get my Mixes up unabated. I never once attacked with it except to apply Dragon Kiss or Turtle Soup on the enemy. The only iffy was summons since Golem, Fenrir, Phantom, Zona Seeker (until Mighty Guard), Ragnarok and Diabolos are the only good summons in this game. The rest can be replicated through Magic or attacks. If I do a Let's Play, I'll probably allow them (since there is a catch 22 to it: You can only summon once unless you bring Gogo). But as you just said, when you see 99.9% of videos, especially those from popular Let's Play guys like Veteran0102 (who thinks Cyan is crap when he just spams Ultima) or DorkKefka (who once said "noobs do what other people do and he damn well pleases" when he ends up beating most of the Dragons and Kaiser with Terra armed with dual Ultima Weapons and Master Scroll and didn't random Holy or Poison patterns) do the same thing over and over, it gets incredibly redundant, boring and just submitting to the cookie cutter.
Nonetheless, I am glad someone is getting entertained and appreciating my Anti-Norm style. I can probably do FF7, but there is too much stuff that would need to be banned. ============================ On another note, outside of my attempt there has been only 1 person who has impressed me: th-cam.com/video/MhmDTZJNLJ0/w-d-xo.html He does it without using Espers, period. It is a shame he has less than 100 views too.

I really hate barrier change It freakin absorb any magic and you need to figure out what kind of elements is the weakness ..stupid ghost soldier in the magic tower casting Ultima in defeat.....
Well for this fight, Barrier Change's outcome determines what spell pattern he uses and he will be weak vs the element he is using. However, Barrier Change is cast again when his internal timer runs out or if you do enough damage. The Cultist Tower isn't as bad since you got Meteor, Ultima or Reflect Flare to ignore that shit.

The trick is to wait a certain amount of time and don't damage him until he gets down on his last life. On that phase, he will only have 65.5k HP instead of have 327.5k HP (because he resurrects 4 times) and easily killed by 7 Ultimas but be wary that he will also cast Ultima as his last resort, guarantee killing all unless you have Celes activate her Runic ability or have Reraise/Auto-Life/Life 3
@@InktheImpassive Which is why I climbed Cultist Tower with Reraise, if you watch that video. I also did it without Reflect Rings, Molulu Charm, Ward Bangles and running away from any fights for extra challenge. My max HP would have allowed me to survive Ultima if I failed to intercept it via Runic. However, if you saw what happened after the Runic cast, I got hit with Quake and it put everyone below the threshold and only Celes had a Reraise charge left on her, where everyone else lost theirs. I would have ended the fight with just Celes on her feet. I would have also reshot the video because it wouldn't look good if only 1 person survives the superboss. Kefka's Ultima only does 2k damage and he only casts it if struck with an attack when his life is critical. Most people waste him before he gets to that threshold and I wiped him out quickly after Forsaken with a Grand Delta and Shock from Gau.
@@gavintan9477 Or you cast Queztali and hope the next jump kills it so only 1 person gets nuked by Ultima while everyone else is still in the air. However, if I had done that, I would have broken the No Esper rule in my Anti-Norm. If I didn't have that rule anyways, I would be just using Golem, Fenrir and Zona Seeker and the occasional Phantom.
No ? First of all... Dragon did destruction million ago lead to them being seal... Kafka reawakened them with the world end... 8 dragon when to the world to destroy. Ones we slay them it lead for Kaiser seal to be broken who invited us to Dragon Den. Then we tray to conquer them before they conquer us.
Yeah. Book Antiqua brings out the best in this. I found out on the modding page that you can change the font file easily by using a program. I know what's going in the background and I execute my commands quickly, given this is also Active. That is what matters.
The only 2 botches were finding the Phoenix Down after I lost 2 chars and I used Arise on a character who was being raised.

The only multi hit attacks I allow are Genji Glove without Master Scroll (you attack twice but lose armor) or Tempest (you have to charge this to near maximum and it doesn't factor in Weapon Damage or Effects, just Strength).
I am not denying Ultima is a powerful spell, but when it has a spell power of 150, hits everything, bypasses Defense/Reflect and basically makes even Cyan or Edgar (who have terrible magic) do 9999 and anyone can learn it... it's like what the hell. Plus, you can dualcast this with Thamasa, reduce it's cost to 1 with Celestriad. If it was dimmed down to what Meteor or Quasar were, then I would aaccept it.
Phantom Rush is an iffy, but it is essentially an Ultima to 1 enemy and the only catch is an easy clockwise button press on Blitz. But the moment you see Sabin on the team's lineup, this attack is gonna get spammed. Only Ragng Fist can match it, but you need like 100+ Strength.
Quick is just down right broken, with the only downsides being an MP cost and self buff. I used it a long time ago when I did coop with someone and I regretted doing it. I only used it in FF5 because I wanted to get my Mixes up unabated. I never once attacked with it except to apply Dragon Kiss or Turtle Soup on the enemy.
The only iffy was summons since Golem, Fenrir, Phantom, Zona Seeker (until Mighty Guard), Ragnarok and Diabolos are the only good summons in this game. The rest can be replicated through Magic or attacks. If I do a Let's Play, I'll probably allow them (since there is a catch 22 to it: You can only summon once unless you bring Gogo).
But as you just said, when you see 99.9% of videos, especially those from popular Let's Play guys like Veteran0102 (who thinks Cyan is crap when he just spams Ultima) or DorkKefka (who once said "noobs do what other people do and he damn well pleases" when he ends up beating most of the Dragons and Kaiser with Terra armed with dual Ultima Weapons and Master Scroll and didn't random Holy or Poison patterns) do the same thing over and over, it gets incredibly redundant, boring and just submitting to the cookie cutter.
Nonetheless, I am glad someone is getting entertained and appreciating my Anti-Norm style. I can probably do FF7, but there is too much stuff that would need to be banned.

It freakin absorb any magic and you need to figure out what kind of elements is the weakness
..stupid ghost soldier in the magic tower casting Ultima in defeat.....
Well for this fight, Barrier Change's outcome determines what spell pattern he uses and he will be weak vs the element he is using. However, Barrier Change is cast again when his internal timer runs out or if you do enough damage. The Cultist Tower isn't as bad since you got Meteor, Ultima or Reflect Flare to ignore that shit.

The trick is to wait a certain amount of time and don't damage him until he gets down on his last life. On that phase, he will only have 65.5k HP instead of have 327.5k HP (because he resurrects 4 times) and easily killed by 7 Ultimas but be wary that he will also cast Ultima as his last resort, guarantee killing all unless you have Celes activate her Runic ability or have Reraise/Auto-Life/Life 3
@@InktheImpassive Which is why I climbed Cultist Tower with Reraise, if you watch that video. I also did it without Reflect Rings, Molulu Charm, Ward Bangles and running away from any fights for extra challenge.
My max HP would have allowed me to survive Ultima if I failed to intercept it via Runic. However, if you saw what happened after the Runic cast, I got hit with Quake and it put everyone below the threshold and only Celes had a Reraise charge left on her, where everyone else lost theirs. I would have ended the fight with just Celes on her feet. I would have also reshot the video because it wouldn't look good if only 1 person survives the superboss.
Kefka's Ultima only does 2k damage and he only casts it if struck with an attack when his life is critical. Most people waste him before he gets to that threshold and I wiped him out quickly after Forsaken with a Grand Delta and Shock from Gau.
@@gavintan9477 Or you cast Queztali and hope the next jump kills it so only 1 person gets nuked by Ultima while everyone else is still in the air. However, if I had done that, I would have broken the No Esper rule in my Anti-Norm.
If I didn't have that rule anyways, I would be just using Golem, Fenrir and Zona Seeker and the occasional Phantom.
