Hey Russ, thanks for the tour. The reason there are so many birds out on the Colorado is that it's peak migration on the Pacific Flyway. The Wildlife Refuges in that area host millions of birds in many species in the winter. Watching (and hearing!)a huge flock of geese or cranes taking off at dawn is something you'll never forget.
Brings back memories of when I used to drive through Parker on my way to Lake Havasu City, back when I lived in Arizona. Can't get over how much that area has grown.
Good afternoon Russ! I just wanted to let you know that the wife and I visited Quartzite last Wednesday(December 4th)! What was our first stop you might ask? Well the Tyson Wells Board game place! Nice place and good people. Plus we got a Rvertv sticker! (The cherry on top!) Our other stops were hi jolly monument and the Army proving grounds museum. (forgot what it's called) Thank you for providing these informative and enjoyable videos! We will definitely be back to Quartzite! Maybe I'll get to tell my wife "there's that van again huh?" Sorry for the novel!
Just love this video! What a beautiful area. The drone shots are really an added bonus to seeing the area. You do such a nice job with your content! Thank you for helping me plan my retirement 😂. I can’t wait to explore out there!
I really appreciate your videos. I have watched for years, seldom make a post, but this year we are home up North until the New Year so your videos bring me along in the passenger seat.
thank you for the info. we were headed home to san diego from laughin last month and wondered how far off the 95 this casino was. now we know and we're headed that way next month!
You should feel good about your current situation weather-wise. Checked temps of locations an hour or two ago and in your recent once in a lifetime series up north,.. they were mostly in the 20's and 30's. Of course. It's dec. The warmest part of the country right now "west of the Rockies" is your spot in the southwest desert region. Mostly balmy 70's. Palm Springs was up to 78. Rather cool/cold here on the central cost. I feel like a weatherman all of sudden, lol. Thanks for these desert vids. I can feel the warmth somehow. Sure wish I was over there. Cheers.
My favorite scenic drive, my favorite casino. I used to camp there in the Bluewater parking lot for a couple days here and there before they started charging. Now I would go out Shea road to the BLM area.
Thank you Ross for letting us know the prices I hope you do that with all your campsites from now on that was very helpful and very informative thank you
Does 70° in the S W area beat 3-4' feet of snow and unable to get to the road for 5 days?? HECH YEH.!!! Glad to visit your locality again after such a wonderful spring, summer, and fall trip around the greener parts of the U. S., while avoiding the 100°+ days of the desert. Everywhere has it's challenges. 👍👍
Hi from Gimli Manitoba. Just discovered your channel and we can’t get enough. Also really like the music you during the videos. Who is it? Just finished the trip up highway in Montana ending at Libby dam. So beautiful. Thank you. We are subscribed.
We were on that same road the same day! Wish we would’ve seen you! Beautiful drive down to Quartzite from Golden Valley, AZ. Went for a drive to see Quartzite in person! Love the videos! Keep up the great work.
Hi Russ, very informative video. You’re right…$52 a week for dry camping at blue water is a great deal…given that you have access to some of the amenities like the gym for showering, pool, etc. Thanks for sharing this info!👍
Castle Rock Shores is the park across from the Market with the Chicken on Top lol we use to keep our trailer there and we always end up going back there. Good People and friendly folks there. If you get a chance you should do a video going out to the Desert Bar off of Sienna Springs Road tucked way out back in the desert.
Could you do a video on Lincoln county new Mexico and surroundings. P.s the Mercedes sprinter is a good van. I drive a peugot boxer for work. Vans are better than cars, am I right,?😅😅
Don't forget the ice cream cones for $13 a piece at that place right next to Beer Belly's in Quartzsite. Prices aren't posted and they don't tell ya until they hand it to ya. $ 26 for 2 cones. They claim it's homemade, but it still has artificial color added to the "base"...Too late! It's yours. Pay up! We were there last March. The whole area was deserted by then, but we were just passing thru and decided to check out the place Russ always talks about.
@@msdebagain1the owner is kind of pushy. He gives out tiny spoons to taste, then asks what flavor do you want, what type of cone.....one wouldn't think $13 for an ice cream cone. It's a rip off
Hey,Hey, It's RVerTV. Going to Blue Water Casino, Yay Thanks, Russ 👍

Wondering if you can suggest an app for camp grounds.

Have you ever done a video of Black Meadow Landing and the Burro’s that frequent the area?
What kind of drone do you have?

There's not enough bread, fries and chips to feed the flock.
