You keep telling yourself that you’re ugly,
How you can’t possibly love yourself cos every time you look in the mirror,

The stretch marks, loose skin, gap between your front teeth,
over analysing every single part of yourself,

I hate seeing you cry,
because every time you look in the mirror you see something you don’t like,
and I hate how much it hurts you every single time,
I wish I could take your pain away,
make you see what I see, and then maybe you’d change your mind,
I hate watching you beat yourself up all the time,
When are you going to realise that this ongoing battle you have with yourself,
it’s a losing fight,
You’re literally destroying yourself from the inside.
Trying so hard to be something you’re not,
when you’re already perfectly fine.
You’re a beautiful, walking, human sunshine in my eyes.
You keep comparing yourself to others,
when are you going to understand that being yourself is enough,
You keep seeking validation from other people,
When, what you really need, is self love,
Yes I know you don’t have the perfect body,
reality check, most people don’t,
So what’s the use in tearing yourself apart like this?
If you think it’s going to help you in anyway, well let me be the first to tell you -
it won’t.
I’ll never understand how someone so great, can think so little about themselves,
I watch you, unable to leave the house without make up
struggling to cope everyday,
and I just wanna be able to help.
You’ve reduced yourself to ugly,
you hide behind baggy clothes, watch what you eat,
Care so much about what people think that you can’t even walk down the street,
self hate has filtered it’s way into every inch of your body,
and it kills me,
to see someone I care about, be so incredibly unhappy.
I hope one day you can look in the mirror and live with what you see,
that it doesn’t hurt you so much anymore,
cos you understand that you’ve got more to offer to the world than simply being pretty,
No longer haunted by the scars on your skin,
but fights to be the change they want to see.

whenever i call myself ugly, my friends just say "no you're not! you're beautiful!" and i know they mean well, but it doesn't change anything. when i look in the mirror, i feel disgusted. i want to cry. i want to rip my face off. i don't like the way i look at all.

It's just how human nature has evolved over the years. We have developed a standard for how people normally look in our brain. If they differentiate from this image we either like it our dislike it, depending on how we look at it.
When humans weren't "civilized" the basics were finding a good partner for reproduction. Most of the times the strongest would reproduce. After a while we learned to communicate better and started learning about other peoples characters. This made it possible to not only like a person from the outside, but from the inside too.

You are so much more than your mental disorder, you are so much more than some calories in a plate, so much more than the way you see yourself. Struggling is okay, we are humans beings and we are able to feel. I don't know you but I already think you're beautiful and worth it. Counting calories and needing to feel empty is not going to solve your real emptiness. Get around people who love you, seek help but please, start believing in yourself. I know what it feels. xx

I suggested a video from Clickfortaz, it was really emotional that it made some of my classmates cry and we explained that every person is beautiful no matter what. And yeah we got an A+. I love this video, so many people here watched this because there body shamed or they don’t like there body. I struggle to not love my body... and I am 11 years old, my mom and dad always told me to not care about what other people said, I want to believe them... but I can’t.
But this video just motivated me to keep on going without anyones opinion, love myself... more, and even the scars, stretch marks and so much more, there beautiful, and I don’t need to change for a boy who I like or for a family member or anyone. I need to love myself like other people see me, not seeing me as me.
The people reading this: you are brave, you are strong, you are beautiful, you are handsome, you are wonderful, you are amazing, you are fantastic, you are incredible, you are gorgeous, you are... perfect. Don’t let anyone stop you from loving your self, social media brings us down because they say very, very, disgusting, gross, not true things about our body, but should we listen to them? Of course not, because we need to love our body and we will have it for some time, we don’t need hate to our body, it will bring depression, loneliness, unloved and so much things.

Hey there, the thing is you got to be healthy for yourself cause you deserve it. But you can take all the time you need with that. Look you should love your self and understand that this change is not cause you dont but because you love yourself so much that youre willing to be better for yourself. I hate my face. I hate my acne. I hate my acne scars. People always ask if i wash my face. People always say you’d be prettier without acne. I hate taking pictures, and looking in the mirror. I put filters on to hide my face, but maybe im just trying to hide the fact that im ashamed of my face. All they see is acne and acne scars. I see their eyes, they arent looking at me, they are looking at my acns . I have anxiety attacks sometimes, like right now. I get frustrated. “How could anyone love me, if I dont even love myself”.

I had acne at 10 and terrible acne at 11. Everybody in my class have a clear face and good skin, while I suffered with acne scars and my friends telling me that they wash their face everyday, maybe I should too. It gets better though, just forget about your acne when you walk around and let your personality shine through more. At least you have a strong heart, don't let your acne change that too.

I'll not tell you you're beautiful because I don't know you and because beauty is subjective, I'll not tell your perfect because because I have no idea of what you look. But, I you can workout, eating better, me more intelligent, do it, change your fuckin' body, and change your fuckin' life, the best you can, 'cause no one will even do it instead of you. So move your ass and your mind, and be the beautiful person in apparence which reflect the beautiful part in yourself.

This made me cry and I’m not this deeply in struggle or being bullied or hating myself that much but I understand what that’s like and yet people know more than others think and are better than others think they are. I am a boy in year 8 and yet this is the way our lives are at the moment.
Honestly sometimes when people say im pretty all i can think is " oh shut up." I hate it when people say it. I just say thank you but it feels terrible knowing everyone sees my acne when i walk out everyone sees im not good looking and still can call me pretty. I hate to see people being so misserable. But I got news for you! You can change your situation.... How you ask? Well, by first realising that everything you experience is a reflection from your inner world... See where this is going yet? Sooo.. if everything is a reflection, people saying mean things about you, is ALSO a reflection of whats going on inside. For the people who do not know this "secret" its bad news, because the Universe / god is gonna keep sending the experiences that match their inner world... But you... you now this, and can use it to your advantage. Change your inner world to something POSITIVE, wake up everyday saying how much you LOVE your live, start a GRATITUDE yournal, start to MEDITATE to clear your mind... If you do this long enough, you will start to notice negative thoughts fading away, and therefore also the experiences you attract with those negative thoughts. You can do this, I BELIEVE in you and everyone reading this comment! Much love
