@@SammyDaGawd My fav spots so far are Casacade Springs nature trail, East Palisades park, Panola Mt. trails, Arabia Mt. Those are enjoyable and offer lots of quiet moments if you go during the week. Enjoy exploring!

Welcome to Georgia! I was born and raised here! If nature is what you want being in metro atlanta is definitely a place to experience it all because you have so many different landscapes in arms reach. We got mountains, beaches/islands (which definitely is not clear blue water by any means but still a vibe), forest, rivers, lakes (do your research though lol), we even have swamps if that’s your vibe 😂. I’m glad Atlanta feels like home to you and I hope nothing but the best for you in this transition!! 💜💜💜 I can’t wait to hear about your experiences the longer you are here.

Last year I joined the BGSC (Black Girl Social Club) to meet friends outside of my work family. I am soo glad I did. I’ve found my tribe. There are 5-6 chapters in Georgia. I’m in the Buckhead Chapter. I totally agree with your Observe, careful and being aware of your surroundings. Prayers for you to finding your person. Looking forward to story time. Atlanta had been home in teenage and adult years. Been there recently and I don't believe I'd ever move back. I also feel my way thru this life. Just felt that chapter was closed.
Many good times there and I had my tribe but Atlanta is a capitalists' pet project. I'm in a space where I realize money does not and cannot compute my value. .but as the city embraces that culture, as do its inhabitants.
