Tracking the Tropics: Tropical wave in the Caribbean is likely to become a tropical depression soon

Invest 98-L is NOT a tropical storm or hurricane at this point, but it is an area of low pressure known as a disturbance. It also has nothing to do with Fiona. Because it is only an invest it does not currently have a forecast cone from the National Hurricane Center, that will come when it officially develops into a tropical system. It currently has a 90% chance of development over the next 2-5 days.

I know! Can't stand it! They were so bummed that they weren't having an active season like they predicted but my God...as soon as they seen a tropical wave here and there...they jump up with joy, with excitement in their voice to give us updates on potential depressions/storms and making predictions on what state would be hit by them. Fear mongering is really strong with this one!

We need this to happen toots?!? No one needs these Hurricanes to happen but unfortunately we did this,mankind. Eventually they'll be so bad/strong they'll be power blackouts n worse across the globe..😕🙏
