Can’t believe it’s been 10 years since my favorite movie was released. It has made such an impact on my life.

I can say without hyperbole that the anticipation for this film kept me alive during some very dark times. I don't think I'd be alive today without MoS.

Epic. Cavill was born to be superman. He is perfect for the role. Kudos to Michael Shannon, Antje Traue and Russel Crow for their performances. There is so much to like about Man of Steel. Thank you Hans Zimmer and Zack Snyder.
Cavill's fight performance was lowkey nuanced. if you look close Cavil showed supes pulled his punches at least at the start of the fight
great role has Kevin Costner, Amy Adams and Diane Lane.
"You're a monster Zod, and I'm going to stop you." I love that moment. Between the visuals and Hans Zimmer's score. An epic fight in Man of Steel that still is one of my favorite Superman moments a decade later.

definitely could've used another 2-3 more cavil solo superman films set in this universe. so many villains left undefeated (Mongol, Metallo, Vandal Savage, Parasite maybe even Bizarro). would've been dope to see snyder's version of those characters 🔥
Me too, but I'm very grateful that we got BvS and ZSJL in their full uncompromised versions... even if we didn't get to see them on the big screen.

Man of Steel will always be my favourite DCEU film. No matter the differences between Snyders superman to the Classic supes, it will always be truly incredible.
The Music, the VFX, everything is great. Not to mention Zod, which is like, the best villain to come out of the whole franchise.
This is seriously one of those movies that HAD to be watched on the big screen. I wish they'd do a rescreening, but sadly that probably wont happen...

Man of Steel was ahead of its time. Top 5 best comic book movies ever.
Since we all understood that Warner Bros. won't ever listen to DC fans, it became an everyday job to hope for a day when we would see a true artist have the legit liberty of finishing his vision.
Man of Steel is not just a movie. It matters on so many levels for so many people, resonates in so many hearts.
For mine, what Snyder wanted to do, feels like home.
I'm not done hoping.

The most controversial fight in superhero movie history. People just couldn't suspend their belief in a superman movie and couldn't stop crying for one minute about the collateral damage in this fight, ignoring the fact that these are Kryptonians and this is Kal-El's first day as superman fighting a military general with same powers as him. He saved the entire planet that day.
This is one of the best superhero fight scenes of all time.
Perfect cinematography, tone, music, everything. This was a work of art.
I love the music that plays when Zod starts his speech. It’s give a low, strong but depressing vibe. Which sets the tone for General Zod. He lost his planet, his people, and spent 30 years searching the universe for a way to revive his people. It all ended up getting taken away from him. The score perfectly fits the scenario that Zod was in.

The majority of people hated the DCEU stop gatekeeping. the people saying restore the Snyder verse are not the majority of fans, the box office reflects it, the only DCEU movie to make a billion was Aquaman. BVS was hot garbage, it had the top 3 characters and couldn't hit a billion. it was doo doo, like the entire universe, hence the reboot. Cavil was in Black Adam and it failed, the so-called fans didn't support him or the movie, if it made a billion, maybe he'd still be around. Again, most his fans are a small minority.
How is this “behind the scene’s” also Man of Steel was and is amazing, absolutely love it. Going to miss Henry, they did him wrong

Was really looking forward to seeing Henry Cavill back as Superman, just as I was for Christopher Reeve coming back for Superman 5, but it wasn't to be.
I can understand Reeve not portraying Superman again, because he ended up paralyzed, but Cavill, he can still play Superman! Bizarre decision tbh.
We really need DC movies kept mature, serious, but also bright, colourful and hopeful, something that can easily be done moving forward. ZSJL was fantastic and could have been the "re-start" of something fantastic, but again it has been let go. I really hope we don't go too young, silly and goofy moving forward, not mines nor my familes cup of tea, if we wanted that, we would go see a comedy. Comic book movies are losing their way and the old "DCEU" slate wasn't given enough time to flourish.
Let's hope DC movies really pulls it out the bag soon, but I don't think the bulk of the fans have been as hyped up since the old slate was released almost a decade ago.

MOS is absolute perfection... There is no one better to play Superman than Henry. And this scene alone, the dialogues, the visuals, the score. Can't be topped by any DC movie under Gunn. I am so sure of that...

WB shame on you. You are sharing clips from MOS and not allowing Snyder or Henry to come back to DC again.
Even I was awestruck when I first saw this 'brutal' fight between Superman and General Zod in theaters, especially when they were flying around Metropolis shortly after Zod discarded his armor.
This is my favorite Snyder film. It’s also the one that Christopher Nolan was most involved with. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.
They need to hire zack at fight scene and story telling to james gun.

Restore The Snyder Verse
This is absolute peak superhero work. Something marvel aside from very few scenes in eternals has never been able to capture. A true demonstration of godlike power and what would have if kryptonians really existed. My favorite comic book movie ever and still angry to this day that snyder never got to finish his vision. Thank you Zack snyder, thank you Hans zimmer and everyone involved in this masterpiece of a movie.
