great song. one of my favorite songs. im usually a hardcore fan, but this is great. great job guys and u couldnt have picked a btr song. i remember having that cassette tape when i was young. one of my favs
this is an incredible video of one of my all time favorite hunter/garcia tunes, man. bless you colonel for posting this, and thanks jeff, david, ed, matt and matt, francisco and whoever else went into this. you guys made my morning! can't wait to catch y'all on the trail again sometime- Dirty Dan, Bibb City Ramblers -seriously made my day!
The images are beautiful. I'm not sure that they capture the emotion. I remember sitting on the levee at the bend of St Charles and Carrollton, with nothing in heart except loss and pain. The power and the beauty of the song. IDK just a contrast with the beauty and light of the images. I think you are seeing something else than I am. I remember seeing a log, probably a foot in diameter and 20 feet long, coming up like a porpoise from the depths and thinking that I could do that. Images of moonlight and despair seem to be more what I visualize with this song.
This is very beautiful. Heartfelt awesomeness. Great song.....I was at the first ever played and the last. Miss Jerry so much.
