Awsome vid I just have one request for a lesson and that is for looks like rain
thanks for the video. my friend RS hornsby, bruces nephew , used to play this with bruce and he passed away so this song is super emotional for me and i am learning it on a guitar that i went and bought with him with the hornsby family music store discount back in '99.
Thank you for posting these, you continue to provide such clear tutorials that a player of any level can understand.
Davvy you always drop exactly what I need! Seriously great work dude, really appreciate the effort and energy you put in. Would love to hear you tackle Terrapin Station!
TS feels like a song Hunter wrote for the entire band to play.so how to turn it into guitar riffs, seems quite difficult to myself, What songs do you have in mind? Great song my friend. I met Jerry, the band and was Dosed by Bear in March of 1971. Passed the acid test and sold Bears goods to help build The Wall Of Sound. See you at the D&Co. shows in Florida. ☀️⚡️🖖🏽⚡️
groovy baby
Spending a half hour with Davvy on this rainy day.. some days the sun just shines through
Aw man, that’s so nice
thank you - so cool for you to be posting these. Really appreciate it!
Love this tune. Ended my Alpine Valley epic show in 1987. The greatest day of my life.
Love this
Davvy, can we get a lazy lightning lesson?!?! Absolutely love your videos, seriously helping me find the sounds!
The jam at the end was beautiful. Love watching you play man
The picking motion on the first 4 or so notes of the intro reminds me of Deal.
Dude I just found you on here! Thanks for the lessons man! You have a way of making it seem easy to learn dead songs. So thanks for that.
thank you sir davvy.! You are thy man dude!
I just discovered your channel a few months ago and immediately subscribed! I've learned so much so quickly! It's like hangin' with my bro, patiently walking me through some admittedly basic shit, but really wanting me to learn it.
I have a HUGE request: will you do "Wharf Rat" (I am one). No matter how many chords and tabs I look up, the whole "I'll get back on my feet" section eludes me. I'd be most grateful if you would show me the chords and rhythm for that!
Keep on shining bro!
Thanks for the lesson my friend.
Such a good song
Jerry & Hunter didn’t pull any punches, always some universal truth. I met Jerry and the band but never met him, About this being the first song he tried I don’t know about it but you have to Credit Merl Sanders for going to see Jerry every day and he helped him relearn the guitar. We all owe him, just saying ⚡️🖖🏽⚡️
Thanks Davvy. Beautiful tune to rip hearts & drop panties
Sup dude. Sweet lesson earthling.
Great Lesson… Love this Song!
You break it down really nice both in a Chordal sense and Lead… 🎸 Thank you!
Just Subscribed!
Excellent stuff…. Thanks mucho for what you guys are sending out …
Thanks for being here to watch it!
This is a really great lesson! Thank you so much!
A lesson on easy wind or maybe even alligator would be dope as hell. Easy wind is a jam and so is alligator
Yeah, those tunes are a comin!
I sat behind Pig at my first show for the whole night. Jerry let me sit behind the amps and Bear dosed me. Pigs death was the end of the true acid blues band the Dead were with Pig passing. Rock on friend.⚡️🖖🏽⚡️
Thank you for the grate lessons fam
Nice timing, 26 years ago today!
Awesome dude thanks
When I requested this it's because Jerry's 26th anniversary is coming up. Now I just need to figure it out on the mandolin. Thanks for the fast turn around. I appreciate it. What are your tip links?
Groovy lesson Davy boy!!
Mah man!
@@TobyDavvy groovy but kinnda sad also, because of Jerr
Of course. A ballad that changes chords on every beat. Not awkward at all.😂
I don't care how deep or wide! as long as there's a motherfuckin' BRIDGE
Thanks BUDDY ❤️⚡️💙

I’ll never teach a tutorial on the way Dead and co do a song. But I will for sure do St.Stephen and the eleven
Bridge?
Of course there's a bridge... it's about a river
Hey.
Sup
