In addition to things you have shared, Pres Nelson has encouraged us from the beginning of his presidency to "increase [our] capacity to receive personal revelation," to "Hear Him," and to be taught by Jesus Christ himself.

I know we are safe if we keep our lamps always burning because the prophet always keeps his lamp burning. But the Foolish didn't apply that counsel to keep buying the oil from the marketplace as the wise did. So the foolish were without oil. While the wise had plenty of oil for the journey to go out and meet the Bridegroom because they obeyed the prophet to get the oil.. But they didn't have spare oil to give to the foolish because you can't convert for someone else....The oil of personal conversion is not sharable. This is why the prophet says you must have your own testimony, you must know for yourself, you can't live on the borrowed light of others.

This was a great video. You are spot on. I have several friends who left the church because President Nelson and the First Presidency gave a statement about the shot. I must admit I had to do some serious praying to know what I should do and think. What I learned: President Nelson is the Prophet for the whole world, not just the USA. There were countries who wouldn't let people out of their houses without getting it. I have many weird allergies and went to my doctor who told me NOT to get it. My husband had to get it for his job. We went to the temple, prayed and received the answers we needed to make the choice for our best interests. I did not get it, my husband did...after he got a Priesthood Blessing. The Holy Ghost has witnessed to me that Russell M Nelson is a true Prophet and I will listen to his words. If I have a question I pray, and pray HARD. Yes we are in a war with evil but if we stay close to the Spirit and hold to the rod, it will be hard to deceive us. Thanks for this.❤❤❤

What this woman in the temple said about the prophet of Zion is not even correct. For all the scriptures point to Zion being in
control in the hands of the Lord in the last days. Nowhere in scripture does it say that Zion is of the Anti Christ. Or that the saints are
preparing for the 1000 year reign of Anti Christ. For the scriptures teach that Christ reigns on the earth personally for a thousand years with his saints in peace and righteousness. The scriptures tell you that the Lord speaks his voice from out of Zion in the last days..And in Zion will be peace and joy and everlasting songs..And the meek and the poor shall trust in it, and zion and her convert shall be redeemed with judgement and with righteousness (Isaiah)... That is hardly the description of an anti christ kingdom.
And that is why the Lord has got living prophets and apostles on the earth to speak for him in our day and time from out of Zion. Joel 3:15-20. Because Zion is the Kingdom of God.
The foolish virgins somehow got it wrong, they were not consistent in filling up their lamps.

In early Spring, 2020 I felt the whole thing was wrong from the start. This was long before they rolled out the Vs. I prayed very sincerely why the church would be supporting what I believed to be an evil agenda. Each time I finished praying I had the overwhelming feeling from the Spirit that it was indeed wrong and I should not participate.
I guess I didn't want to hear that answer, so I kept praying asking the same question...and getting the same answer.
Finally on June 17th I prayed and told God I would stop doubting Him and accept that answer. The following morning, a little after 4AM, an angel visited me in my bedroom and commended me on my faith and that I was indeed correct in what I was doing. The angel was a young woman who was dressed in a pure white robe. She even gave me her first and last name that she had in life (whom I later matched up with her obituary).
After it ended, I was left with the most powerful and overwhelming feeling of peace and joy in my entire life.

I prayed to ask Heavenly Father if i should one get the shot and two continue chemotherapy. The answer was no, do not get the shot. Yes, stop the chemotherapy. I knew this was against my doctors advice, but Jesus Christ has passed down his power through the Holy Ghost. I turned to my husband and priesthood leaders for a priesthood blessing. I'm still here, i was cancer in 2022. I've conquered cancer twice through the Grace of God. I have been diagnosed with breast cancer again for a third time. I will continue to trust God to heal me this time, too. I'm using holistic methods. I've changed my diet to more vegetarian, and i use Asea Redox supplements. Also, I am sensitive to the 5g towers. That's another story. I would gladly explain how that contributed to the cancer.

I've heard some good, and even great ideas they share, but it's frequently laced with some ideas that could confuse some members, and it could create some feelings of distrust towards the general authorities, if you're looking for someone who could lead you away, to believe that some church policies are wrong, or questionable, and they create controversy. This is the same feeling I had when deciding whether to go back to work after my first child was born. That answer shook my being as well. I am certain that we are to pray about all things. I don’t feel that I went against the prophet, but I went through a tremendous amount of opposition for my views and lost my job over it.

I'd like to add to what Kimberly Olsen (below) said.
I too struggled about getting the "vaccine". I was torn, and prayed about it a lot before I came to my decision.
    It came down to this:
I believe Pres. Nelson IS the Lord's prophet on the earth today. I don't think the Lord would let His prophet deceive or misdirect His church.
However, I can, and do, ALSO pray to get feelings, guidance, and answers for myself.
I concluded that I WOULD follow the first presidency's admonition to get the vaccine. I figured that maybe part of the reason to encourage us was so the government would have no excuse to shut the church down further, especially TEMPLE work!
I also prayed that if there WAS anything harmful in the "vaccine" that the Lord would neutralize it so it would be harmless to those who did go ahead and get it.
(I was 68 at that time) I only had the first two Phizer shots, with no ill effects that I'm aware of.
I have no plans to get any additional shots, but I'm going to pray about each instance that comes up, and then do my best to follow the Prophet, and my heart.
It really doesn't matter if we live or die. But the intent of our hearts matter, and our willingness to trust the Lord to guide us as we navigate these last days.
And I accept that we might not always fully understand the whole picture.
Each of us has to have our individual conversation with the Lord, and follow the promptings we receive. It will ALL work out in the end. 😌

None of my comments were meant negatively towards the leadership or President Nelson. I was just trying to explain the process I went through, at the time, to make my decision. I'm not sure how that's a poyson shot.

You know how many people like to say, "But the prophets aren't perfect and they can be wrong, and so I need to receive my own revelation about this subject that thr prophet has spoken about."
Well, it is true that we are meant to seek after our own revelation from God, but it is to confirm our understanding and faith in what the prophets say, not to open up thr possibility that we will receive revelation contrary to what the prophet has said. That is the high road to apostasy - to think that you know better than the prophet.
If you think about it, have the scriptures ever said or given an example wherein a person was excused from following the prophet because the Lord told some individual differently than ehat the prophet had said? No, the Lord's house is a house of order.
The miracle is that the Lord can lead us correctly through fallible people, not that he makes them perfect. And we are not excused from following them even though they have got certain things wrong or confused at times, for a time.
In "Two Lines of Communication," President Oaks teaches clearly thst priesthood revelation and personal revelation are meant to support each other, not to compete. Wonderful talk.

It’s crazy that you posted this video today because last night, I was in the comments of two LDS TH-camrs. And I just straight up asked them both, have you seen…. And if so, how can you still support….
They both told me they have seen…. One of them said they were working on a response. The other referred me to an interview where they defended…. I told them I will definitely watch it and get back to them and they ❤️ the comment.
I watched the full 50 minute interview and my mind was blown. They went as far as to take a scripture about the second coming of Jesus Christ, and leave out the verse’s about Christ coming and the mountains being made low and valleys disappearing, in order to make it sound like it applied to…. So they could use that scripture to defend…. I could not believe it. I did write a long response to them pointing out all the things I could remember from that interview that I took issue with and why. And I explained that I wasn’t doing this out of hate or judgement, I’m doing it because what I’m seeing goes against the kingdom of god. I have not gotten a response.
I asked the other TH-camr about his viewers being possibly deceived by certain content he posts. He said he doesn’t think most peoples testimonies are that weak. I responded by asking him, if only one of his viewers has their testimony damaged, isn’t that one too many??One of his viewers responded by saying that we are responsible for our own testimony and we’ve been instructed on how to protect it. I responded by saying that we are also not supposed to cast a stumbling block before others, and I reminded him what Cane said to the Lord after he slew Able. “Am I my brothers keeper?” Yes. We are our brothers keeper.
Maybe it’s my own ignorance, but I cant believe I am witnessing members of the church offering up their platforms to be Satans P.R. Campaign. In Teachings of the Presidents of the Church, Chapter 27 "Beware the Bitter Fruits of Apostasy," there is much that explains how ignoring our priesthood leaders makes us vulnerable to apostasy:
“I will give you one of the Keys of the mysteries of the Kingdom. It is an eternal principle, that has existed with God from all eternity: That man who rises up to condemn others, finding fault with the Church, saying that they are out of the way, while he himself is righteous, then know assuredly, that that man is in the high road to apostasy; and if he does not repent, will apostatize, as God lives.” Heber C. Kimball, while serving as a counselor to President Brigham Young, reported: “I will give you a key which Brother Joseph Smith used to give in Nauvoo. He said that the very step of apostasy commenced with losing confidence in the leaders of this church and kingdom, and that whenever you discerned that spirit you might know that it would lead the possessor of it on the road to apostasy.”
There is more; I suggest reading the whole chapter.

I did this after hearing the prophet about the shot. I did have to back my thoughts up and be willing to accept what the Lord's counsel is. I was distinctly impressed that I was okay not to take the shot. I'm glad I have a relationship with the Lord and can sustain His prophet. Ironically they try using latter-day scripture and revelation to refute latter-day scripture and revelation... I've learned that the gift of discernment for me operates a lot like the prophet Joseph Smith's statement "by proving contraries, truth is made manifest." Some falsehoods are so near the truth that rather than have a lightbulb moment of discernment in the moment, it is revealed to me over time as I contrast that over and over with other truths I already know. Also, when in history has it ever gone right for people who rejected the prophets?

I hear that a lot; about *the* Prophet being deceived. They completely ignore the MANY quotes and revelations about the Prophet not being able to lead people astray, in favor of "don't trust in the arm of flesh", and because no Prophet is perfect like Christ, they cling to the idea that trusting the Prophet is trusting in the arm of flesh, and therefore he doesn't really count. 😑 It's popular with folks who try to discount whoever the current Prophet is, so that they can claim that the church as a whole is led astray. The scriptures have numerous examples of true prophets and apostles being deceived. David, Solomon, Judas, Peter (denied Christ). A great example is Lehi who began to murmur when Nephi broke his bow. Was Nephi wrong to not "follow the prophet" and murmur with him, instead of taking initiative to build a new bow?
The idolatry of prophets is a modern stumbling block among LDS. Every man is responsible for what he does, following another man won't get you out of accountability, prophet or not.

Even when I pointed out that I saw wisdom and stratagem in what the church was doing. We have a right to personal revelation for ourselves and I chose not to go against the revelation I received. I think Heavenly Father expects that of us in all decisions. To not blindly follow but to study it out in our hearts and our minds. The How Do You Hear Him campaign was a timely gift that we should continue to employ. The use of stratagem was taught so consistently in The Book of Mormon. We should expect the confusion to continue and that will require continuous personal revelation.

We need to be educated in the scriptures and the gospel teachings, as well as be visiting the temple as often as possible, practice in prayer for your descernment to be strong and clear, and doing & practice things which will invite the Holy Ghost to be and stay with you at all times. If you're not sure, and you are earnestly asking in prayer, the best and safest thing to do a long with those things is to:
    1. ALWAYS stay as close as possible to your church authorities, including your Bishop, and his counselors. The closer we stay to our ward leaders, stake leaders, etc, the greater body of the church won't lead you astray. And you can ask for a blessing for protection and discernment,. Rely upon the priesthood holders and ward leaders to advise you, if you can't find an answer, and trust that they will be truthful, and help you!

Yes, it is critical that we really read the scriptures carefully. If you read the JST for Matthew 24--which is Joseph Smith-Matthew 1-- you will have a slightly different understanding of Matthew 24: 24. Read JS-Matthew 1:22. The word "were" is not there. The sense we are left with is that there will be some of the elect for whom it will be possible to be deceived. Keep in mind the elect are all those who have made covenants with God, not just leaders.

I have become rather exhausted with the CV narrative pertaining to the Prophet. More specifically I felt the spirit at times in my life that were pointing me in the direction of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And a year after being baptized, I saw people on both sides of that argument telling me that if I don’t get it, then I’m going to be cut off and others who said if you get it, then you will be cut off and anything else in between. But what I knew is that the Holy Ghost fell upon me when I read the book of Mormon and pointed me towards Truth that I never thought even existed let alone could’ve been true. Other things which I learned dead at the bottom of my heart, I desired to be true, even if it meant that I would not be in the celestial kingdom because at the time I was not baptized, but just the knowledge that what I was taught about heaven, as a child was not God‘s plan but rather the machinations of men. And that the doctrines that I had come to discover was everything I knew in my heart had to be true. It has become evident to me that there are knowledges which confirm latter-day saint teachings which have survived, but I don’t understand how it is that people think President Nelson is not a prophet. All I know is the patriarch said “Be patient in your endeavors and remember that the church is Divine.” And our patriarchal blessings have proven themselves many times over to be true. And it has become apparent to me that some people seem to be looking to other voices To be a prophet for their lives.

Something to consider Christ himself as well as John said that the apocrypha’s validity would be testified of in time. I’m not sure I agree with the idea that god doesn’t expect his children to seek for hidden truths. Having said that as long as we’re keeping our covenants nothing else really matters.
I am currently of the mindset that what causes people to be deceived is not having an understanding of what’s to come that it breaks their faith, more specifically when and if the antichrist does show up and or the (fallen angels) as described in the book of Enoch that unless people have a grasp on just how supernatural this world actually is they will lose their testimony. Come follow me I believe is a spiritual maintenance program, but not a deep doctrinal guide to understanding the mysteries of god.
