Great video, I have a single speed bafang mid drive without a chain tensioner, great for hills, two seasons & many hunts through rugged hills without a problem. It's 750 Watt, which is powerful enough for my 230lbs plus gear. It's custom made by an archery shoppe in Pennsylvania.
Quietkat came out with some bikes with “built in deraileur”. Not sure how well the system works yet. That would be the only improved system that’s potentially new.
@TripleRwoods I appreciate you taking the time to provide an honest opinion on each bike. Despite both brands being out there for a while, there's not much commentary on the many models each company puts out. Depending on where one hunts can greatly influence what one needs, but again, where's the company videos of what these bikes can actually do? Something less expensive might be more than capable. I recently purchased a 2024 QuietKat Ranger AWD. During my first ride, the crank would squeak loudly with each pedal rotation. I notified QuietKat and was asked to provide a couple of videos, which I did. The tech guy said he would look into it and get back to me. That night, I went on to QuietKat's website and noticed the bike I purchased was no longer on their site. When I inquired about it, they said they removed it temporarily because some owners were experiencing high heat (melting) in the wiring. I asked to return mine as I didn't feel comfortable keeping it. Luckily, I was within the 15-day return window and was able to do so. I did have to pay $150 for return shipping. It was worth it to me.
NOPE! Just look at the E-CELLS Super Monarch Crown and its standard features.DUAL suspension, 2 motors, 2 batteries 230 mm X 2.3 mm thick brake rotors W/ TEKTRO hydraulic brakes, 9 torque sensing pedal assist levels (2003 and later), Fenders, 2 racks, etc. etc. For $5,100. you cannot get more high quality features and build quality for less money. RAMBO Crusader, are you listening??
I ve been riding mt bikes for over 30 years and have never broke a derailleur I think you need a bike riding lesson. Keeping it in first gear is ridiculous. You shouldn't be giving bike advice sir.
Excellent points in this video help me decide against the QuietKat Mid-Drive and get a Hub-Drive 😎👍

Well, I haven’t even finished the video past six minutes and I’ve already made a decision. Well done.
Faceoff ebikes are the best bikes for hunting and climbing i have found. Feature wise. I don't own one yet. Hopefully by mid July.
My K2 is ordered and waiting for delivery! Can’t wait
Great info. I’ve been looking so this was really helpful
Thank you!
How about the Backou Mule Jager. Mid drive, big battery. Internal rear gears?
I like what I’ve seen from those bikes. Just can’t get over the price point they have.
I’m buying one in a few days. Hopefully I’ll be able to make Mathes best decision possible. Anything new and/or better come out since your last video?

I love your cat 🐈 😂

Rambo doesn't charge taxes, but they do charge a $150 handling fee.
Yea I think they just started that. I don’t remember that when I purchased mine. Maybe I paid it and just don’t remember it.
