When you lighten the back end of your arrow you made it under spine. That is why they are going right. The tac vanes are heavier so they stiffened the spine. Try them with lighter point weight and you will see a difference. Good video 👊

You seem to overlooked B&C statement on fair chase, "lawful pursuit" by using a camera and violating the law of the state, fair chase is not being adhered to. I have hunting Iowa for over 20 years when tags granted, if you need a cell camera to get a shot at a giant midwest buck you just suck at hunting. The law was just clarified per guidance of the AG, electronic means to pursue and harvest deer has always been illegal in Iowa, it has been on the books ever since I started hunting in Iowa. I am still wondering how they are not going after the use on private land for cell cameras for this same reason. There is nothing worse than walking public land and seeing cameras everywhere and now if they are found after 24 hrs anyone can remove them as abandoned items from public land.

Nope not worth it. I’m not that guy who has a life altering fear of snakes but I really do not like poisonous snakes and don’t like to be startled by any snake.

Have not used trail cams on public in years due to theft and vandalism, but if I start again, cheap cameras and mounted high out of reach comes to mind. Acorn production key to deer activity here. Not much public food plotting around. Small open areas between heavy cover can be productive. The more difficult the access, the better the hunting can be. Which can translate to a terrible deer drag out. ha.

Dang. Those snakes make for an interesting walk in to your stand early season. Friend carries a Judge loaded with .410 shot shells to celebrate those occasions. Some folks cry about killing snakes, but there are enough non-poisonous snakes to fill the gap. Have read stories about settlers getting snake bit and they swelled up and their skin busted open, if they survived the bite.

I didnt like how bouncy it was when I first tried it. Then I realized I did not have the strap tight enough. When I figured that out and put it on the tree correctly it was rock solid with no bounce or flex. I would suggest anyone buying this platform to play around with it at ground level before jumping right into a tree.

My elite is the same way. Super close. I put the odd cane 90 degrees to the left when I refetched my arrows and it fixed the problem. You’ll give yourself a lot more room to work with in the aspect of clearance

I can’t get behind the quiet kat price, I can get double the bike for half the price from so many other companies. They have low amp hours, doesn’t even have full suspension. They need to provide more value.

Cameras save more deer than they kill. Most folks w cams start picking kill bucks n let’s the rest walk. Plus people stay out of woods more waiting on a pic than being there hunting when the pic is taken.

Don't break or lose the 90 degree elbow, they won't replace just that part. Mine didn't come with one, so they said they would replace the whole camera, but couldn't send me just the part?! That's shitty if you ask me!

Outstanding Experiment brotha….it makes a lot of sense when considering which helical to use when fletching arrows. However, spine testing arrows also, can really make a big difference as well,and then consider the right application of helical for the end result. Either way, I think they’ll all pull some pretty tight groups, even at long range😇🏹🏹👍. Thanks for posting 👍

If you look at the last couple bills the Iowa dnr has passed it appears they are trying to tie up any loose ends when it comes to out of state hunters. They passed the no out of state party hunting law now this cell camera/ public land band. Maybe there is a state agency that cares about age class and resident hunters 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Couldn't have said it better myself. Just like the foodplots brother it is no comparison between cameras and foodplots, which makes it easier. I personally won't hunt over foodplots, but I also don't care if people choose to hunt that way. To each is own. They need to back off of what is ethical and whatnot. 98% of the people making these changes ain't out there in the mix.

I have no problem with Iowa's new camera ban. Let's say you've been hunting a piece of public land for decades, and someone comes along & places a cellular trail camera on every other tree. That would irritate me. Iowa is simply stating cameras can't be left overnight on public land. As far as private land goes, I can get a pretty good inventory of what deer are on my property with a basic SD card trail camera, & Iowa is not taking that right away. People were harvesting deer long before trail cameras. I have no problem banning electronic aids like drones & cellular trail cameras during the hunting seasons. The line needs to be drawn somewhere.

Hey man, I know the video is really old but I got mine and I don’t know if it’s the battery or what but it isn’t turning on. I tried charging the battery and nothing happened. I’m using a 64BG mobilemate ssd card

Totally torn on these new technology issues. On one hand it makes hunters lazy which is ok with me. When I find a camera on public land, which is basically all I hunt, I can usually find the way the hunter walks to his /her camera. If I can, no doubt the deer do. I use that information to my advantage. I think a happy medium, which most probably won't, is a camera "season". Do your homework all Spring, Summer and Winter. Come Oct. 1st thru Dec. 31 keep them at home. Any dedicated hunter should get a great idea of the deer numbers and ages and then hunt accordingly. I don't want to know when Spunky or the Big 9 or Walter or whatever hunters name their deer, are coming to the food plot every 3rd day at 445. I personally feel that buck deserves more or better or maybe I do. But that's me. And as long as I'm on my 62 year old soapbox, let me say the same dam thing for these E-bikes. Come Oct. 1, these modes of transportation need to be parked. 20-40 year old perfectly healthy men tooling past me on these things a mile or an hour back into the hunting land after this 62 year old got his ass out of bed and got back there before they even poured their first cup of coffee of the morning. All that bitchin being said, hunters need to stick together regardless of weapon, technology used or prowess gathered. I'm confident enough in my abilities to thrive regardless what the other hunters use. Old hunter, old school, old soapbox.

I agree with you 100% if you don’t like them don’t use them, I don’t have any because I don’t want to pay for a subscription, however I don’t see how it gives you an unfair advantage unless you have it in a spot where you could go over a rise and shoot it with a rifle? In a normal woodland bow hunting situation are you going to sneak in and get in range? Doubtful if so you are a great stalker!
