while we didn’t winter camp (some nights esp up on Lake Superior it seemed chilly enough to still be winter 😉) we summer camped while school was out - my youngest sister was 3 wks old her first adventure - we only went to the Bruce Peninsula (Owen Sound) but it was an adventure for a new born none the less 🇨🇦🙏
With both parents into the outdoors, especially you Jeremy, Orion will be quite the explorer ❣️ Kendra, welcome back!
What a fun trip! My earliest memories are camping with my parents, and all of my 58 years I still cherish those trips. I'm certain the little one will, he seems to really be happy in this element.❤❤❤

Mom and dad took me camping in a sears pop up towed by a vw beatle in 1969. It's what they did, it's what we do, it's a thing. Just came across your video this morning. Very nice. I love winter camping, but my friends and family think I am nuts. It's not for everyone, that's for sure. I was enjoying your video, but then, I saw your wife climb out of the truck with the baby, and I was immediately taken to a very happy place. Our family grew up hunting, fishing, and camping together, so when I see families enjoying the outdoors together, it reminds me of the wonderful times we had. The icing on the cake, so to speak, was when I heard your dog's name: Boomer. One of our fur babies is also named Boomer. I look forward to watching your other videos. God bless you and your family.
I started watching camping videos a year ago. You are one of my three go to TH-camrs for camping. Watching Baby's first camp, after watching my other TH-camr (AB Camping) reminded how precious the circle of life is. AB Camping's video was sad because his dog had to be put to down because of septicemia. What made the video extra sad was that AB Camping was away from his country, taking his son to start college. Watching Baum and you have take your families camping was what I needed, and I love your videos. Life is so short, and sometimes I forget that. Watching your family, baby Orion and Boomer was the tonic I needed to gladden my heart.
@jean kanengoni, it was sad indeed to here about Tony losing Brucie, his best friend. Bruce will surely be missed and always be remembered as his first 4 legged camping buddy.

You guys are brave man, my second kid is 2 years old now and I still haven’t taken him camping, it’d be hell on wheels with him around lol. My 6 year old is on every adventure and as helpful as he can be so he’s awesome to have around, hats off to you guys.
My oldest sons first adventure he was 6 months old and we went to Yuma Arizona with the dune buggies and toys. Granted we were in a huge Winnebago motor home towing the toys, but we got him to sleep by doing a buggy run with him in his car seat LOL.
Just imagine the education Orion is going to get. Growing up and learning everything there is to know about camping and the outdoors. I'm a little jealous. Wish my parents had taken us camping more often when we were little. He's a lucky little boy.

I have found family camping to be the most enjoyable. We took our daughter to visit Yosemite National Park when she was only six months old. We also camped in the snow with a small travel trailer. I have visited all the maritime provinces. I did that when traveling on my Honda Goldwing.

That is how we started. Bare minimums. A can of pork and beans and a package of hot dogs. 40 years later I have upgraded numerous times. My last RV sits out back. Not used the last few years. It brings back many memories watching you. Thanks.
