Question: How do you let it dry out in the winter once you get home? Just wait for a day without precipitation and let it air out? I just have a feeling my jeep won't fit in the garage with rack and tent on to let it air out inside.
I plan to get a wedge style tent here eventually. Especially on mtb trips would be nice to break camp quick to go ride bikes.

You can buy cheap fold out seats that weigh almost nothing and don't take any room. You could keep one on a wall in every vehicle, and move your favorite one from one to the other, but if you forget it you have a backup. I have several in my camper for unexpected visitors.
