You need to get a life instead of following any YT channel at 3:30am! Did your Mom call you twice from the top of the stairs for Pizza Pockets? Bet she came down to tuck you in and turn off your PS4 as well.
I couldn't agree more. I like the idea of camping but hate actually doing it. Waking up in the cold at night, can't go back to sleep because of it, back/ neck pains when you wake, etc etc. But watching these videos just feels so peaceful and primal. Nothing else matters but getting a fire going for the night and setting up camp, all your big problems you stress about don't even exist anymore, it's peaceful. I hope high tech VR takes off in my lifetime so I can camp like this without the real world strains lol
This video brought back great memories of the many years I did one-man back country camping in mostly Rocky Mountain National Park, before becoming severely disabled from cancer. In those days I used an MSR Whisperlite white gas stove, no coffee grinder, and everything else much the same. When you sat on the log drinking hot coffee, drinking in the wilderness, for a moment I was back there too. Merry Christmas 🎁
Yeah I hear you this was great back in the day like was 20 years ago. And I feel for you about your disability especially with your cancer I hope you live many many more years. But I have a disease also that change my life dramatically it's very hard to do physical things I can't do them anymore really. And I miss the wilderness the adventures even just a simple thing of walking in the woods all day long or even a day of hunting. But good luck with you I'm wishing you the best
I have no idea why this was in my recomendations. I am a middle aged British woman, who has never been or ever intends to go camping! but I enjoyed every minute of this video. I can't believe how much stuff went into that backpack.
I made a tent stove out of an old steel mailbox, some colapsable dryer vent pipe sections, foil tape and a rack out of an old toaster oven. I turned it on it's side, made a union by cutting c circle the size of the pipe into pie slices and bending them up for the pipe to sit on, put 4 drywal screws through the side for the rack to sit on as a burn shelf. Works great and it was free except for the tape.

My parents laughed, they thought it was cool and half the people I invited left before nightfall, but the people who stayed got to share the booze I got 😉 slept all nice and cozy in a dope sleeping bag, woke up and made coffee the OG way with the sunrise, truly a dream like memory Something about sitting around a fire in a clearing, so many sounds yet so quiet, I gotta get a camping pack and do something like this ❤

Wonderful and informative vid. Thank you. Minor tip: After you pour the boiling water on the ground coffee beans, if you stir them, they will release more flavor, and it helps to let them sit for about four minutes before using the press on them.

It's so satisfying to me to watch these camping in the snow videos. I like seeing the juxtapositioning of warmth and salvation in that thin tent with death outside if you stayed outside with no protection for a while. You come well prepared and you make yourself some fabulous meals that most likely taste doubly better while eating in your snug, warm tent. Thanks for sharing these with us

Hey food for thought, next time bring a tarp made of stretchy tent material and hang it above your tent. During the night when it snows, it will fill up. In the morning you'll have fresh snow for coffee instead of contaminated lake water. During the day. you can use fresh snow to make snowballs for coffee.
If my back wasnt so bad, i'd be all over this, but i am a hammock convert now. The thing i love about these hot tents and setups, is that they remind me of 'forts' for adults. You know when you were a kid and would put bedsheets over chairs and other pieces of furniture in the living room ? Trying to find places in the Lower Mainland of BC where i can get to do some of this. Great video as always !
My husband and i went camping last night and man it was so amazing from peace of mind to the sound of nature and just having time and the environment to meditate without interruption .. Im bummed that we have to leave today but back to work tomorrow
This video was cathartic. I hope to bring my family out into the woods. Watching you perform each function with care and consideration, it was clear that every move was planned and thought out. Thanks!
I'm watching this in the doldrums of August summer heat, and watching you make kindle the fire actually made my AC a little more effective. So you helped me cool off on a hot night. Thank you for the content!
That happened for me this morning. First snow of the year on Christmas eve - in Connecticut. Won't last though. I like to get out and see all the animal tracks in my back yard, to see where they were going, what they were doing.
Enjoyed your video! I went out with my daughter in winter last year. My husband built it with logs for the floor and back wall wraped itcwith tibeck. It was -21 Celsius outside and +55 inside. Made a lean-to With a long fire and thin plastic infront. Amazing that we could keep warm and comfortable all night. I had to feed the fire once an hour. I must admit camping in summer with our 5th wheel is lovely!
Enjoyed the video. It always looks so cozy & warm with the stove lit. I camp in state parks here in Wisconsin in my Little Guy camper with inside heater. I've camped in the snow & colder temps. Very enjoyable & the campfire feels so good. I've never tried hot tent camping, but if I did, I'd prefer the setup you had in this video where you made the chimney opening. That steak looked yummy! Take care and stay safe.
Have you tried boondocking yet? Dispersed camping on Forest Service land or places like that? So much better than using campgrounds. If you get the right spots, there is no noise, no lights from other campers. So much more enjoyable to be away from everyone.
Man, I was just looking for a winter camping video, and yours popped up. What a nice setup you have. Glad I viewed this video. I will look for more from you. 😀
This kind of camping is not for everyone my father would say we all need to experience a few days like this. This is done very well well-to-do equipment well-designed just insanely beautiful. In my opinion one of the best three days I would ever spend in my life.
Man -this is a seriously awesome tutorial ! The deep woods vibes + your pro flow with all the bushcraft + the camera work = much needed food for the soul -many thanks for this :)
Reminds me of when I used to go winter camping back in upstate New York, New Jersey and Pa. It was the best time of my life. Alas, I’m not as young and able as I used to be so I sit here and enjoy your videos and reminisce instead. Your videos are awesome. Thank you for sharing.
This is a really interesting adventure in nature. I have often thought of such a challenge, but I have never fulfilled my wishes. May everyone succeed in fulfilling their dreams next year, even those that seem unrealistic🤩👍🙏
I have never been camping in my life and I watched every single second of this. I can't imagine how much work it took to just make this video!!! It's wonderful and now I'm an avid armchair camper, couldn't subscribe fast enough. I can't wait to see more of your videos, thank you for your hard work!
You've got to try the real thing. There's nothing like it. If after you do it once you decide it's not for you, you can always go back to armchair camping, but you owe it to yourself to give yourself the experience. Good luck.
This was so fun to watch; I learned a lot about the modern camping world. Thank you for your excellent video and narration, photography and explanations.
Thank you for sharing. I wish my husband would taking me out camping like this. I love nature, trees, mountains, snow and quiet places but my husband loves city life styles and yes we still together. 😄
I like your videos. You focus on the practical aspects of the adventure and deliver the salient pieces and let the observer observe/learn. Other channels I have been watching while the focus is on the adventure, the main thread is a monologue of the developer. Keep doing what you are doing. It is appreciated.
Awesome setup. All of you young folks out there pay attention and know that life passes by fast. I was too busy trying to feed a family of six to get to do very much of this and when I could it was always poor-boying it. I am not complaining but offering advice. Get outside and do it while you can. Invest in some good gear early in life. I still camp and enjoy it very much but can car camp only. I would have to call 911 to get help getting in and out of that tent but would love to give it a try. Back packing in would be so great, it allows you to go where most people can't or won't and that is my style. Great video!
🇬🇧 The coffee making ritual is so clever. Real fresh coffee from beans to cup -- the ingenious grinder & the cafetiere-type pot, all so simple and functional! Could slurpingly taste the deliciousness😋
Why is this video and sound quality so good ?! It's really impressive on a production level :D Also, this was a lot more therapeutic than I was expecting!
@@garysmart1 Good camera does not equal good production quality, try filming yourself doing something mundane like swiping the floor, try to make it look good, get the proper natural light if possible. I won't even step into the audio quality, which is most of the time quite a disaster past a few steps away from the camera's inner mic.
Great content. Salute on the diy stove stack design. A ground tarp supported with straw would have been a plus. Here in the woods of north central Florida, we require a sealed floor tent or wake up bit by something & more than once. Keep up the adventure. 😜
As always, a great tent and camping video. What I like best about your camping trips is that you are always prepared, are never ever going to be cold with those stoves, and you pick the best locations. And its always fun!!
That looks a beautiful spot you chose, I imagine it's awesome in summer too. That tent is very well designed, a heating/cooking and separate sleeping area, what impressed me was that it all fits in a backpack. I enjoyed this video 👍⛺
It's amazing how everything is Compact and foldable to carry in one backpack. The thing that blows me away is the smoke stack especially when you opened it up.
So cool !!! I enjoy watching these types of videos so much that I am considering camping out like that at least once in my lifetime. Of course there are a million ways of doing this with all kinds of different tools and comforts so it's definitely going to be an adventure. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
If you are going to use this tent this winter season as well, i would highly suggest that you buy a picknick mat that has thermal eva foam for the vestibule area, other than saving you from the ground cold, it will give you the opportunity to enjoy the vestibule area more. Nice content by the way and great cinematography. Wishing you success my friend!
I hope everyone appreciate just what it evolves to make such a video, between all the set up and editing.....good job.....thanks for the entertainment in the comfort of my own warm home with a furnace
I LOVE how you incorporate every detail without over talking. You say just enough to help us enjoy the peace and quiet with you. We get to be there without all the hassle, enjoying watching you do all the work! :) There's nothing like it. But I really want one of those stoves now, more than ever. Thank you!
This could be me but without the snow, as a person born and grew up in a country that has no winter. I can get close to this by camping in the mountains, above the clouds and have chilly weather and plenty of fresh air.
Man the face you make when you drink your coffee. I know that feeling. Everything has come together and your truly appreciating life and living in the moment.
Winter camping looks relaxing, under snow fall with a heater that works as a stove, and just occasionally finding clean snow to use as water, and plus you don't have to worry about bugs bothering you
I hate just repeating myself - but I cannot get enough of this awesome cameramanship, the subjects/light chosen, and the ability to make me feel like I am truly there with you! Truly truly awesome! Stay safe, and keep enjoying and sharing the great outdoors! Thank you so much!
I'm loving this beautiful, winter tent adventure! I live in Florida and really miss the snow! Have a very Merry Christmas, Jeremy, Emily, and children! 🙏🌲
Great video. Around twenty-five years ago, I lived in the woods for three years. They certainly have came a long way (improved) with camping technology. I love that pouch with jars holding seasoning.
Great video, just a couple observations. A good quality folding saw beats a standard bow saw for less weight. Mainly because of the saw tooth geometry cuts faster. Where I wouldn't mind adding a little weight would be to have a waterproof bottom for your tent. Might not mean much on a calm cold night, but on a wet windy night it would be gold.

Thank you, and I must agree they do feel like adult forts 😁👍🔥
chilliwack bc or mission.. or almost anyplace in bc is good for this!
My husband and i went camping last night and man it was so amazing from peace of mind to the sound of nature and just having time and the environment to meditate without interruption .. Im bummed that we have to leave today but back to work tomorrow
You nice
This video was cathartic. I hope to bring my family out into the woods. Watching you perform each function with care and consideration, it was clear that every move was planned and thought out. Thanks!
Why is it so therapeutic to watch camping videos like this? :) Thanks for sharing.
I'm watching this in the doldrums of August summer heat, and watching you make kindle the fire actually made my AC a little more effective. So you helped me cool off on a hot night. Thank you for the content!
😁

Nothing better than waking up to a snowy morning. That is absolutely beautiful, my favorite feeling breathing in the cold fresh air

Made a lean-to
With a long fire and thin plastic infront.
Glad you enjoyed it
@@Lonewolfwildcamping 👍 video
You sound like a lovely lady!.

@@Lonewolfwildcamping Ayyy Nice!
The fact that these videos blow up just proves we’re all craving our primal life of long ago
Very cool. Great cinematography! I watched this on Christmas Eve with snow coming down outside! Feeling all warm and fuzzy
And no added background annoying music. A+
Reminds me of when I used to go winter camping back in upstate New York, New Jersey and Pa.
Camping equipment has come a long way ! Love the pumping air in the mattress. Iam so impressed with everything. Thank you.Be safe!
I have never been camping in my life and I watched every single second of this. I can't imagine how much work it took to just make this video!!! It's wonderful and now I'm an avid armchair camper, couldn't subscribe fast enough. I can't wait to see more of your videos, thank you for your hard work!
Helloooooo
You've got to try the real thing. There's nothing like it. If after you do it once you decide it's not for you, you can always go back to armchair camping, but you owe it to yourself to give yourself the experience. Good luck.
Cheers to us arm chair campers!!!I loved that saying!!!
Expensive equipment but very cool. The fresh ground coffee through the French press, priceless. Thanks.
" expensive equipment but very cool". Oh my 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Just so beautiful!! At my age, I can't do anything like this. But lovely to see. I loved the sounds of nature and his enjoying his steak and coffee!☺️
I like to imagine this guy just leaves little camp sites all over the world for people to discover.
Your camera work (visual and sound) and outdoor skills are a perfect combination-hope I can experience the outdoors like this sometime.
As a mountain man I appreciate you keeping that area clean & removing all your trash. I seriously wish we had more folks like you !!
Thanks, I appreciate it
Awesome setup.
Awesome video! You should bring a temperature gauge next time so you can share with us how warm it can get from before and after your tent warms up.
This is brilliant! There’s something about camping in the cold or rain and making some delicious food. This video gives such cozy vibes! Keep it up! 😊
Ramen noodles are delicious?
🇬🇧 The coffee making ritual is so clever. Real fresh coffee from beans to cup -- the ingenious grinder & the cafetiere-type pot, all so simple and functional! Could slurpingly taste the deliciousness😋
Why is this video and sound quality so good ?! It's really impressive on a production level :D
Also, this was a lot more therapeutic than I was expecting!
especially at 46:20...a wave of warm and cozy came over me....
Probably using a rode directional mic
It's 2021 even cheap camera have HD
@@garysmart1 Good camera does not equal good production quality, try filming yourself doing something mundane like swiping the floor, try to make it look good, get the proper natural light if possible.
I won't even step into the audio quality, which is most of the time quite a disaster past a few steps away from the camera's inner mic.
@@bendarel also the Editing. How great was THAT!
Thank you very much
That looks a beautiful spot you chose, I imagine it's awesome in summer too.
Yep, you were right about the lack of kickstands on the vents. They might have come in handy. I thoroughly enjoyed this vid. Thanks.
I’m very impressed with the whole set up! Nice tent, loved the little stove, and cool coffee service.
Thanks alot 😊
@@Lonewolfwildcamping But your metal got to hot. thats why it is blue now.

I just sat through 5 seasons of "what we do in the shadows". It’s nice to see Nandor here getting out in nature again.
I LOVE how you incorporate every detail without over talking. You say just enough to help us enjoy the peace and quiet with you. We get to be there without all the hassle, enjoying watching you do all the work! :) There's nothing like it. But I really want one of those stoves now, more than ever. Thank you!
Thank you, very happy you enjoyed
Hello Tilly
This could be me but without the snow, as a person born and grew up in a country that has no winter. I can get close to this by camping in the mountains, above the clouds and have chilly weather and plenty of fresh air.
@Coon Pooch nah
I love the many little handy tools he has, hard to imagine all those can fit into a backpack.

Thanks for taking us to camping school online. You are definitely an experienced outdoorsman. I'm going to be a regular viewer.
As a motocamper (Harley & trailer), this is content for bedtime! LOVE that stove!
Happy you enjoyed
I watched this video for the second time. Lots of hard work and dedication you put in to making this video and other ones too. Thank you Jeremy.
Thank you
It's awesome that you stop and narrate your videos now and then. It's so much more entertaining and informative than those quiet videos. Super! 👍
Winter camping looks relaxing, under snow fall with a heater that works as a stove, and just occasionally finding clean snow to use as water, and plus you don't have to worry about bugs bothering you
Definitely enjoyable in winter ⛺❄
This was so relaxing to watch. I didn't even realise it was an hour long until near the end. Great setup!
Makes me want to go camping for sure.
The Lone Wolf 902’s videos are supremely ADDICTIVE!!

The superb video editing of the shots without loss of content is quite commendable.

You really do make the best winter camping videos. Thank you for taking us with you.
Thanks so much
