That Alan guy seems to know what he's talking about. It's a shame his team didn't advise you better regarding your wheels (ie. offset) from the onset. Smart choice choosing a flat rack over cross bars. This will give you more choices when mounting gear in the future. I have the Rhino Rack Pioneer platform rack (ie. flat rack) on my 80 Series, and it's been invaluable for gear mounting. So versatile.

Landcruiser 70 series is an awesome vehicle. It won’t give major trouble if regular maintenance is done effectively.
If the previous owner of the vehicle had done proper maintenance and checks, Jun has not much to worry.
She has to just carry forward from previous owner and maintain the vehicle according to periodic maintenance schedule.
Since she doesn’t plan to do extreme off roading, it won’t be a problem provided the engine and transmission are in an optimum condition.

Great setup! I like this roof top tent. Seems fast and simple to setup and take down. Less time spent setting up means more time for other things. That awning will be nice as well.

That Phantom 3000 RTT looks almost identical to my Darche Ridgeback RTT. Even the hinges and lock mechanisms are identical. The only difference I can see is the colour (the canvas colour of my Darche is khaki). I wouldn't be surprised if they were both made from the same factory. I chose the Ridgeback against other RTTs due to the rear design which rises away from the tent. It's amazing how much more headroom this adds compared to the more common design clamshell style RTTs.
The Darche Ridgeback definitely does look similiar to the Phantom 3000! I have seen a few other brands with similar designs - seems like it has become quite a sought after design.

You definitely can set up an RTT on your Attiva. Just go for the lightest tent :)
