Midnight Vultures, such an underrated album
Plm sexxx
Brilliant yet daffy, an acquired taste?
THAT BASS. insane.
Totally insane.
Baseline is crazy , and also , it is a rare type of the base instrument itself .
Fender Coronado bass, they recently reissued it actually, not available in that colour though.
When your bass player is wearing a Cape you know its gonna be good
no one is cooler than beck. no one.
Jesse Luthi he’s a fucking Scientologist !!!
Méchant Manu nobody’s talking about his beliefs, who gives a fuck about those. It’s about the music and the way he expresses it.
And also he distanced himself a lot from Scientology in the last couple of years.
I got him second behind Bowie.
His bass player is a close 2nd.
@@KingCast65 I was just about to make the same comment! At the time the original statement was made, Bowie was still alive... Though now I think it can stand. 😁
I call Beck second coolest white boy behind Bowie LOL. I can't believe I've never seen him in concert. He is indeed a living legend already. What a great tour this must have been. We were doing a lot of blow when this came out and pretty much wore out the damn CD of this album LOL
He's just the coolest kid from school but no one knows
realest comment ever
I saw him supporting Radiohead - he had a thing with puppets. Didn't play this song though. Arghhh!
Bowie wasn’t white, he was Ultraviolet
@@TheWingus Love it. Also Robert Palmer was a cool chap as well.
HE IS SO CUTE I'M GONNA SCREAM
do it.
Beck even throws in a few Jagger dance moves. P.S. He should tour with this horn section all the time!
Seeing music from the 90s in HD is awesome
Love his hair, voice, skin, lyrics, style.... the list goes on. The OG So-cal babe
That song doesn't usually last for three hours but we got a serious THING going...
...And then I forgot how it ended.
How can you NOT smile while watching this?!
“wearin hepatitis contact lens.” YEAH- uh 😆
Mausoleum
My favourite Beck song.
I know my whole life and the whole world is beautiful in the time of '90s music. Such a great great world we living in
one of my favorites basslines EVER! great bass playing, and you really can see he really digs playing this! just look...the bassline during the chorus is amazing! :)
The bass/drums are fucking insane
Jammin Justin played his last show on bass for Beck last night at the Beale St Music Festival. They were AMAZING, and I was so fortunate to be able to see them play.
This is stupendous.
HIGHER THAN A PLANE
The Horns really make it all come together.
My favorite artist
great live transmission. they are truly alive.
So incredibly awesome. Lyle Workman is a bad ass as well.
Absolutely great !!!
Beck is a beat poet and don't we know it ;) X
Such quality! Looks like it was filmed just yesterday!
Fantastic!
ok, how awesome was that??? Beck is pure entertainment.
Beck is every girl dream
OMFG *grin* you guys are so unbelievably stoned.
Fantástico
dope
beck is god
Holy Hotness!!!
sweeeet
I miss this Beck, the Beck that hit high notes, went into spins and into the splits on stage.
He can still dance and moves awesome on stage. Saw him last night, Justin's last show on bass
Awwwww, where is Justin going?????
He's focusing on producing and his family right now. He's working with Paramore right now from what I'm seeing on his Instagram. So I guess new Paramore stuff in the near future?
You do know he had a spinal injury during 2005. So he could not move alot for a long time.
Well, he is almost 20 years older now, people change and grow over time
No wonder Trent Reznor hired the bassist for quite a while. JMJ is super cool.
even though it looks 2d, JMJ's cape will still take off... !!!
Something tells me Scary Pockets won’t be attempting this one for awhile, if ever.
Guitar nerds, you can see a GT3 on the floor. That one still sounds good up to this day.
Just as good live as studio.
Honest to god, as a guitarist I recently bought a bass just to learn to play Justin's bass line on this song.
Lyle Workman on guitar nice !
I'm gonna fund a new country and this song will be the anthem.
I love the Ape on Bass.
ok is good
What bass is he playing?
We dig it over here ---> A Big Toe Tapper.
Take it from a Full Grown Man.
What was the order of the 3 songs he played which did he play first and last ?
Beautiful jacket, baby...Chenille?
2:41 .... Did Beck just slap himself..?
Yes he did
Bob Odenkirk on guitar!
mhhh
pretty decent quality was this really recorded in 99?
Yeah, looks like someone got a hold of the master tapes or something. It's great quality for it's age.
f n a yes, have you met beck?!?
Who's the dude on bass? He was cracking me up hahaha.
Justin Meldal-Johnsen of Nine Inch Nails fame.
who is guitarlist?
The great Lyle Workman
Who the hell wears capes? Keyboard dude and Bass dude, That's who !
I never knew Andy Samberg toured with Beck's band
don't do drugs kids!!!
Is this an anti-Alfred Kinsey song? 😁
Weird ending.
I really didn't care much for Midnight Vultures, it's probably my least favorite of Beck's work, but this stuff works much better live.
I don't get it.
Bass is sitting too far back in the mix and the horns are way too out front. Why can’t sound guys ever be closer to...perfect?
I miss this stuff. "Colors" is just a waste of my time.
Stuart eh, they were still really well produced. And Square One was a banger
well ya know, this was 20 years ago. He's 48 now
... boring
Fuck off THEN!!!
