'Golden Feelings' came out in 1993, 26 years ago. He is just recently eligible. I feel he will be inducted. He is very influential and I hear his sound in many newer bands and solo artists. Arguments can be made one way or the other about the validity of the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and who they choose to induct and not to induct. However, _overall_ I tend to agree with who gets in and who doesn't. I said overall there. I am shocked at some of the groups and solo artists that are not inducted, and equally as appalled at some of the inductees.

I grew up on Beck however I have a strong view that the raw aggression of a young man/woman is what makes such artists so appealing. He still produces good stuff but the sound that got me into him was from his first 4 or 5 albums.

And the answer to your question? As a diehard beck fan his latest album just like the last few "beats/pop" albums (as opposed to his folk albums which have mostly been meh) sadly SUCKS! Hes a genius who seemingly just isnt trying too hard anymore :(
