Today I bought the new release 2023 'Devotion' D&G EDP, created by Olivier Cresp. A bright gourmand and my first lemon forward perfume. I went all in and bought the biggest bottle. I really hope that it meets my expectation this coming summer here, down under.
Olivier Cresp, Dominique Ropion and Jean Guichard are my fav perfumers. Olivier did Devotion for D&G, which is a masterpiece too! He's bold, his signature, to me, is bold, beast mode perfumes! Angel being my signature for years now, he's a genius!
I got an Akro discovery set, and the first one I randomly tried was Malt... and although I wouldn't necessarily like to wear it, the scent.. it transported me IMMEDIATELY to my visit to Scotland distilleries, where the smell of malted barley is everywhere. It's just a super realistic smell of, well, malt. Not boozy or alcoholic, but the beginnings of the whisky. It's just an amazing house.
I'm very fond of Kenzo "Jungle Homme". I've tried my sample of Akro "Smoke" and it can almost make me think that I might've relapsed in regards to cigarette smoking: that's how realistically it smells like smoking a cigarette.
Light Blue was my first designer perfume and I went through several bottles, as well as Black Opium, so I have fond memories of the two. Now, I only have Bracken man and Gentleman from Givenchy and I also like Awake from Akro. Thank you for the video!
Earlier this year, I added Karl Lagerfeld "Kapsule Woody" to my collection. Someone gave it to me for free, and it's not bad. I've read that it's made by Olivier Cresp. It's an interesting addition to my collection.

An absolute legend of a perfumer in the designer realm. Really like what he did with PR Pour Homme Eau. And Midnight Poison was one of my first rose favourites on women. Simple, but sexy. 💙🖤
My favorite creations of Olivier Cresp are from the Givenchy Gentleman line. Gentleman EDP, EDP Boisee, EDT Intense and Reserve Privee are among my top favorite fragrances ever. Especially the EDP Boisee, it's definitely my #1 favorite from the line. Aside from those, I love TF's Noir De Noir and Mercedes Club Black. I would love to see a video for Sidonie Lancesseur, she one of my favorite perfumers. Great video, Sebastian.
I’m sure he created YSL’s Elle. One of my favourite designer fragrances and have found out it’s sadly been discontinued. if anyone knows of any similar smelling perfumes, please let me know.
I'm torn between Amouage Braken Man and Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Prive on my favorite fragrance from Cresp. My vote definitely goes to Maurice Roucel as next on the list of top fragrances from a perfumer vid. Cheers.
I tried Dirty rice, nice scent but it didn't click with me. Love Akro Night, still need to try the others from Akro, I know I will like them, I really haven't tried any others created by him 😬 still a lot to discover, thanks for the video Sebastian!!!
Gentleman is def one my favourite releases of his.... didn't put my nose on any Akro frags but I hope I can find some samples at one point or another. As for other parfumers, I think...Christian Carbonnel (I think you have this one planned as well as Alberto Morillas just a hunch) others I'd be curious on would be Jaques Cavallier, Dominique Ropion, Quentin Bisch...actually I'd watch any video of this type...

I have Castile and Juniper Sling. Both are good. I personally prefer the former.
