Usually when a brand has a significant price hike or start pumping out a lot more product ranges than usual, it is to increase the value of the company in order to sell for more. So the price hike should have been the biggest public sign he was selling the brand. The man has good taste and knows what people want, interested to see what direction new releases across his brands will look like without his vision.
So I spoke to someone working for Tom Ford in Covent Garden London and he said the 3 new cherry fragrances will be Cherry Lush, Cherry Velvet and Cherry Smoke
There are about 3 manufacturers of cosmetic brands in the US. Estée Lauder manufactures Tom Ford as well as many other high end brands. Several members of my family work at the plant in PA and I have benefitted from their Christmas presents for years!
Lost Cherry and Bitter Peach are the only two fragrances from Tom Ford I enjoy. Given EL's habit of reformulating and watering down fragrances after purchase, I don't have much hope.
My old time favourite fragrances from Tom Ford house are Vanille Fatale, Tobacco Vanille, Lost Cherry,.Noir de Noir, Soleil Blanc. Hopefully, Esteee Lauder will not ruin the iconic fragrances with new reformulations, that would definitely be a shame!
Cafe Rose and Oud Fleur are underrated IMHO. Tuscan Leather Intense is my favorite, and the only one I have a decanter of. Though I'd be tempted if I found a decanter of Noir de Noir at a great price...
My favorite TF for fall/winter are Tobacco Vanille, Ombre Leather & Lost Cherry. For spring/summer Soleil Blanc, Bitter Peach & Neroli Portofino are my favs🥰

Recently I succumbed to Rose Prick (not full retail price, heck no!), agree with you on this line being mass market. I'm more of Noir de Noir, Ombré Leather, Oud Wood and Vanille Fatale, and the sadly discontinued-never-to-be-found Shanghai Lily (any recommendations for a similar fragrance?) kinda girl.
I had Italian Cypress before researching it enough to know it smells like Z-14 (which I have two bottles of - don't ask!). Tempted to go look for Anthracite Noir now...

I was lucky to get TOBACCO OUD, NOIR DE NOIR, NOIR, NOIR EXTREME, TOBACCO VANILLE AND TOBACCO OUD from a local reseller! Tobacco oud, Tobacco Vanille, Noir De Noir and Noir Extreme have turned out to be one of the most beautiful smells I've ever put my nose on in my entire fragrance journey! Sad that some of the Tom Ford fragrances are discontinued while the rest are overpriced! Thanks Sebastien for the update on Tom Ford.
They’re definitely prepping santal blush for a rerelease. They’re currently letting ebene fume have the spotlight first and rereleased bois marocain quietly. The three will be paired as the “wood line” in the same way the x-rated line was done

My Tom Ford counter person gave 30ml of Tobacco Oud, Plum Japonais and Shanghai Lily right after they were all discontinued. I love them all. My wife hates the Tobacco Oud.
It still bothers me that Beau De Jour is widely considered a 'barbershop' type of fragrance, when the smell doesn't have a barbershop vibe at all. I don't associate barbershop fresh with a gingerbread ambery patchouli type fragrance. Heck, it is a niche version of Zino Davidoff and it was considered an amber woody fragrance, which makes way more sense for Beau De Jour as well. Lol, just thinking out loud.
I'm worried, but I hope EL keeps the frangrances' formula and reconsiders prices. My list: FF is my signature, Black Orchid my 1st, Jasmine Rouge my second crush, Oud Minerale, Rose de Chine and I also like Bitter Peach and List Cherry...

Out of the non-private blends, TF Noir is so amazing. It was my husbands signature scent when we first started dating. I knew it was a good sign seeing that he had good taste in fragrance 😉 Such a shame it’s discontinued.
Based on my recent experience with the re-butchered Noir Extreme, I can say with confidence that this is officially the death of Tom Ford fragrances. Not commercially but in every other sense.

Simplest way to explain would be that it smells like bug spray and NOTHING like the spiced kulfi, ambery gourmand that it's supposed to be. If you have the older formulation, and have the time, spray yours on your hand and compare it with the version on the shelves at your nearest Sephora.

Love Black Orchid, Tuscan Leather, Oud Wood and my absolute favorite is Tobacco Oud, can't get enough of it! I've been looking for a bottle of the intense version but it's just too expensive! I really want to try Cherry Smoke, will be a blind buy, I really like cherry fragrances. Neroli Portofino was my first Tom Ford, and I still enjoy it. My first time trying out a fragrance that wasn't "for women" and it was an eye opener to being much more flexible with my fragrance choices!
Tom Ford had a habit of discontinuing everything and constantly offering new scents. My favourite, Moss Breche is long gone and I don’t expect anything is going to resurrect it. Estée Lauder has maintained their scents rather well but the prolific production of Tom Ford is impossible to maintain. He’s marketed well and the scents have maintained an exclusivity.

Meh. I think most of the collection is way overrated anyway. People just go apeshit because of the name. I love my Oud Wood and like Noir Extreme and Anthracite is definitely unique. I’m not paying hundreds of dollars though to smell like a maraschino cherry or peach candy rings. As far as his leather scents I like other brands much more like African Leather by Memo.
I tried Metallique and it was the most clashing experience on my skin. An odd bubble gum and soap combo. Like a teenager in their mom's lipstick. Do NOT recommend blind buying.

they are gonna reformulate about everything, keep the prices up and bring down the performance. estee lauder did just that with thiery mugler.

Tom Ford Ebene is AMAZING and with Tabacco Vanille is my Favorite by far ... I am in a search for a Summer TF perfume that last 8 hours.
My favourite Tom Ford is Oud Fleur, I also like Champaca Absolute and Noir de Noir. Sadly, they are getting too expensive for me.
Meh. I think most of the collection is way overrated anyway. People just go apeshit because of the name. I love my Oud Wood and like Noir Extreme and Anthracite is definitely unique. I’m not paying hundreds of dollars though to smell like a maraschino cherry or peach candy rings. As far as his leather scents I like other brands much more like African Leather by Memo.
I tried Metallique and it was the most clashing experience on my skin. An odd bubble gum and soap combo. Like a teenager in their mom's lipstick.
Do NOT recommend blind buying.

Somehow still have a bottle of Italian Cypress. It was the first Tom Ford fragrance I ever purchased and I’ve been using it sparingly for years just to have it around.
I hate that this takeover happened. I hate when I giant corporation buys a relatively big company. I expect Tom Ford to go downhill from now. Bad for the industry and even worse for creativity.
I love Oud Wood, even for myself. Same with Ombre Leather.
It's so hard to find really honest reviews I feel like people talk about colognes until they run out and I go back and talk about colognes they talked about. All of this is just a create contacts and nothing more.
Please add Gabby’s collaboration with Navitus “Chocolate Queen” perfume as one of the BEST chocolate perfumes on the market!!! I recently received my perfume bottle and was blown away. Queen Chocolate has very good sillage and longevity!! This perfume is well blended and simply beautiful!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️When you can, please get your nose on this beautiful perfume!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

well that was unexpected i thought that your fav from tom ford would be noir de noir or Tobacco, Vanilla ... i felt guilty that i had commented time and again that my personal fav by far is Tobacco oud and to see today that is actually your too came as a surprise coz you havent talk that much about it well unexpected but in good way

I have a travel spray of Noir Pour Femme and enjoy it, especially in cooler weather. It always comes with compliments ☺️
