I love how her brother looked like he felt out of place but she made sure she included him in everything. There will never be an angel like Aaliyah again.

She was sweet and kind but calling a human an angel is misleading and unbiblical. Angelic beings were created by God to serve as messengers. Satan was a fallen Angel. Angelic beings are nothing like what we interpret in the movies and books. They are powerful and the Bible describes them as frightening to humans. When they appeared to humans the first thing they say is “Do not fear”. Angelic beings are obedient to God’s Word and are warriors against the fallen angels like Satan. The Bible warns us not to worship angels or idols like celebrities.

though i admit the early mid and late 2000s werent bad , it still feels like a steep decline. NOW in the 2020s I dont know about you
but life just aint the same. its like pre 9/11 pre aaliyah death we were promised a future that cease to exist.

The world changed after 9/11/2001 and the world NEVER felt the same. It was almost as if we are in a new reality.
I said the exact same thing . That shift after she died was insane . I could not believe it!!!!! I have to literally go back to these videos to feel comfort . This was an amazing time to be alive 😪

She was actually 20 years old during filming in 1999. During the premiere of the movie (in this video) she was 21.

Why am I just now seeing this? Aaliyah is beautiful and talented. Can’t bring myself to say was, she is still everywhere and will always be. Her music, her talents show the very essence of her when she’s played on the radio, or I see her movies.

That movie is a classic! Love everything about it. The filming location, the fabulous soundtrack, the fight scenes (and I totally agree with Aaliyah, that iconic scene with Jet Li was for sure one of the hottest scenes) and last but not least Aaliyah‘s outstanding performance as an actress. My favorite was the authentic scene were she (Trish O’day) spoke about her late brother. Her tears were so real. Speaking of siblings, I love the relationship between Rashad & her. Damn I truly wished we could’ve had plenty more movies with her, but God must have had bigger plans for her! R.I.P. to a truly multitalented and timeless beauty 🕊
Yeah it’s my favorite movie i feel like Aaliyah did get enough praise for her acting skills or her music but now that she’s gone people are giving her the flowers she deserves

I had to comment a second time. You could tell just how prominent Aaliyah’s energy was in the entertainment industry. Everybody admired her. She had this presence that was just so striking when she entered a room or an event and she stood out like no other. 21 years ago today we unfortunately lost a beautiful angel along with her friends/crew who died along with her. RIP to all of them😭💔🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. I'm really hoping they will be new aaliyah interviews/clips being released (long-overdue 'just sayin')😅🤷🏾♀️. Also thanks for this beautiful video, babygirl lookin stunning 😍🤩
