Unfortunately, I've always hated pop and a lot hip hop so ST is just unbearable for me. Loathe and a few other bands mix more shoe gaze/deftones sound with metal core so it just hits different.

I had to choose between seeing Streetlight Manifesto or Loathe that week and I think I made the right choice. So happy I can relive it whenever I want! I always wonder, why doesn't the lead singer do melodies with the "back up" singer live? It would be amazing to hear. Compliment each other for the live audience for the melodic vocals.

i saw the final ever performance of this album on december 17, 2022. i dont even like the album that much but the actual perfomance changed my fucking life. so glad i got to meet erik and tell him how i felt about the album

Because instead of tuning down he plays in normally cause they play in drop E with variations of the top string to C# B and A and Because he doesn't tune down like other bands making the bass completely inaudible and mushy it's thick and punchy which gives them all the power and force they need, I absolutely love it

@@Kidcrowley It was probably a fanned fret bass a lot of bands use them for tuning down anywhere from drop A to drop F it's better to just tune down and also the styles matter a lot cause a lot of band also tune their bass's to drop A and then pitch shift to lower tunings so I'm not sure how invent animate does it
