    This is a very helpful video!!! I am a recent F1 fan, and have always heard that it is impossible for "normal people" to attend these races, so I appreciate the information. Thank you and keep it up!

      @@GlobeDecker oh thanks for the tip! The only sports I really follow hardcore is basketball. I’m a big Raptors fan so while F1 looks really cool it’s kinda daunting to try and learn so much about it so I can really feel invested

    I just attended my first GP in Canada and am pretty sure I just was super lucky to find affordable tickets and stay only a month prior. From my experience, I would definitely recommend bringing food and staying in a Hostel. You meet people from all over and it's considerably cheaper than hotels as well as putting you more in the center of the action. Also, get a card for the subway or take the ferry to the track.
    It was absolutely incredible and I'm already trying to budget for the next one!

    Great advice, especially when you mention Fridays as the best day to have a cheap experience.
    Most tracks have roving grandstands too, so you can still move around and enjoy cars hitting multiple types of corners!

    2nd year watching F1 and I'm obsessed. I've been looking at attendng Hungary as its the most affordable from my research. I would love to hear more about your experience there.

      Budapest is typically one of the cheaper Eastern European cities to fly to since a number of budget carriers are based there.
      Airbnb's in the city are really affordable, but I know they do camping around the circuit during the race. The drive to/from the city on race days is a serious chore since the toads around the circuit are narrow country roads, so I'd try to avoid driving and camp if you can. I know they run a number of extra busses from the city for the race but can't help you with the details on that.
      I bought my tickets to the 2022 Hungarian GP through GP Ticketshop and they were great. Seats in the "Red Bull Tribune" right at the end of the grid and final corner, amazing views and were very affordable, If I remember correctly, they were around 220 euro for me and 20 for my 12 year old son.
      Hope this helps a bit, LMK if you have further questions.

    Hey i plan to go to the Hungarian GP 2025, would you recommend this race?
    Can someone recommend the best seats under the price of 300 Euros in this race?

      I went to the Hungarian GP in 2022. Airbnb's in the city are really affordable, but I know they do camping around the circuit during the race. I have the unfortunate disadvantage of living in South Africa. Any tips on getting cheaper plane tickets, improving our currency or getting the FOM/FIA to put a race in Africa?! 😂
    Jokes aside. Good video keep it up :)

      @GlobeDecker  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not much I can do about those!
      I've read a bit unofficial the F1 blogs about how the FIA are really pushing to have a race in Africa, and South Africa seems like the most likely candidate. Fingers crossed! I visited South Africa about 15 years ago and LOVED IT. I'd like to go again and a new F1 race would be the perfect excuse to convince my wife!
      Thanks for the comment!

      With live events that's for certain! I have an acquaintance who wanted to take her daughter to see Taylor Swift. Even when including the airfare and hotel, it was cheaper for them fly to the UK to see the show than to go to the performance that was an easy drive from their home.
