I recently got back into fishing last September. Im 37 years old and I live in Southeast Louisiana so i fished a lot when i was a kid and into my early 20's but i just stopped and never started again until recently. I bought a cheap Wal-Mart spinning combo for 25 bucks, fished with that for a month or two and then decided I wanted a baitcasting combo. I did some research and the Abu-Garcia Max Pro was consistently in the top 3 of best budget baitcasting combo lists so, i went with it and Im glad i did. Its great. I now have 6 different combos but the Abu-Garcia was my first and only combo I have now that was bought and not built by me. I fish at least 2 days a week so i use my gear often and they all have held up just fine.

The Max Z is a great combo!! I got mine about 8 years ago pair it with 15lbs hybrid line and still running strong!!!
They don’t do tap or Apple Pay because they want to drive customers to get the Walmart app and use Walmart pay. Ultimately the goal is get people to sign up for Walmart+. That’s actually a metric stores have to meet for associates. (I’m the team lead over sporting goods and a few other departments for my store so I can answer pretty much any question you might have)
I put this reel right up there with my Diawa tatula sv tw. Excellent reel

It's a great reel but I might argue that the Lew's Reactor is just as good, or possibly better. Love the content man!
I was looking at the reactor rod…very light.
Do you still stand by that? I'm deciding between the reactor or max pro. There's so many reviews on the max pro but not alot on the reactor.

They still don't have this ABU Garcia Max pro no where in my state. Time to order it I guess don't like to order because I want to pick out my own rod in my hand and feel. Got the Max Z and Sooper Happy one baitcaster one size 10 one in size 40 reel spinning reels. You said that they last two years 🤔 is that it better I need a new one. 7.1-1 was the last number for on it.
