sadly, the lukewarm christians will eat this up and be even more hateful toward Christians who actually read and follow God's word and Word. Any "christian" who supports culture movements are part of the world. We're to be separate.

I read and follow Gods word and I’m more concerned that people fall in love with Jesus and become like him. Let’s pray that the gospel is clearly preached and stop worrying about an ad.

This is not an invitation to Christ, it's an invitation to apostate false religion.

Jesus washed the disciples' feet, the ones who followed Him for 3.5 yrs.
    - this, "he gets us" is sacrilege

Jesus washed the feet of his Apostles--once (note Peter's vehement objections). He didn't wash the feet of the wicked and unrepentant!

I haven't watched this video yet but Jesus washed Judas' feet even though he knew Judas was about to betray him and he was literally in league with the devil. So it seems to me like Jesus washed the feet of one of the most wicked and unrepentant people ever, the thief and betrayer Judas, who was involved in a conspiracy to murder Jesus and stole money from Jesus; ministry, all of which Jesus knew.

John 15:18-19 (ESV): “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”
      Kinda clear there.
The world hates Christians who love one another and who obey the words of Christ…
I can see how it might have been possible for Judas to have left the supper BEFORE the foot washing… read it carefully.

Jesus did teach me to hate,,,,, hate the sin that separated me from a Holy God , And to Hate my sin that put Him on that cross . This was a distorted view of the biblical Jesus. Jesus washing the disciples feet was not an act of condoning someone’s sinful actions

I was so upset by this commercial and all the others I couldn’t even pay attention to the game the first quarter. This is the first time I have watched the superbowl in a few years. Don’t think I will next year. Now all the players are suddenly “Christians” too🤔🤔Satan is leaving no stone unturned in his deception during these end times.

Washing the feet is symbolic of absolving daily sins. Those who have had a bath only need their feet washing - ie baptism. But our feet get dirty walking around in the filth of the world. Gospel of John shows this clearly. It’s meant to symbolise how we can help keep each other clean and find daily forgiveness for transgressions- it’s not about serving the wicked and making them feel comfortable in their sins.

Jesus did not command us to go out into the world and wash feet. He told us to take the Gospel to the wold. The true Gospel includes the hard truth about sin and its consequences. People who imply that Christians who are obeying Jesus' explicit command are somehow "hating" people are themselves hating Jesus' command. Lack of discernment at best.

I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. 2nd Corinthians:11
"He gets us" is NOT biblical but is "Apostasy" in today's churches.

That ad is "feel good", but not truth. We're all to be like the good Samaritan, loving our neighbor as ourselves, yet washing feet symbolizes peace, acceptance, love, tolerance, and mercy. All that isn't possible in coexistence with everyone living how they want to live. We are to live in kindness and Truth/truth. We can, only, wash the feet of those living the same as us. Otherwise, our duty is more the good Samaritan. That's, so far, my opinion of Christian living.

Jesus washed the feet of Judas. Judas was a thief and we all know that he betrayed our Lird and that he has no part of the covenant community. Yet Jesus still washed his feet.

    • @marcdavidson3676

You guys forget that foot washing was a common thing in the 1st century. People got their feet washed because they were walking in dirty, filthy roads and so they needed that part of the unifies cleansed as they were to come inside to eat a meal. So Jesus’ action had a double meaning: 1. Jesus does cleanse us from Daly sin, and 2. Jesus is a servant to all, including his betrayer Judas

Hey with the Family planning clinic in the background we can pay for the abortion after we wash the feet. Maybe that is the message they want to give. I mean have of them Evangelicals support abortion any.

Lord Jesus does not teach hate, but here is some of how He described the way in which God loved the world: "He who is believing unto Him (God's Only Begotten Son whom He sent) is not judged. Withal, he who is not believing, assuredly he is yet judged, in this manner: that he has not believed unto the Only Begotten Son Of God. Withal, this is the judgement, thusly: that the Light has arrived unto the world, and the humans loved the darkness more than the Light because their works had been toilsome, because everyone who is practicing bad hates the Light and does not come toward the Light, so that his works may not be refuted and corrected. Withal, he who is making the Truth comes toward the Light so that his works may be made apparent in this manner, thusly: that they are having been worked in God."
So then, the way in which God loved the world includes condemning those who never turn away from sin because they love untruth more than they love God's Only Begotten Son whom He sent. He Gets Us is characterizing the way in which God loved the world, as being hate. He Gets Us is characterizing the Gospel of God's Grace In Lord Jesus Christ, as being hate. He Gets Us is characterizing John-three sixteen as being hate. Woe to those who call good evil. Also, woe to Alistair Begg for calling evil good.

Revelation 2 verse 6 speaks of hating the works of the Nicolaitans, not of hating the Nicolaitans. When Lord Jesus says "which I hate", "which" is neuter not masculine, so it is explicitly speaking of the works and not the people.
