it's the same as Indian food. I love Indian food. only difference is cwe don't use buffalo ghee but cows ghee instead...these Nepalese kitchen is so beautifully arranged...nice.

She said buffalo milk which is actually is called ghee a clarified butter. Most of the people in village area in Nepal they make their own ghee from raw milk which they get from cow, buffalo.so may be that is why she said buffalo milk.
u don't use baking powder to make nepali roti..just water and plain flour.. p.s you can add little oil or ghee in the dough to make the roti more soft but yes it is optional this is a very late reply bt i hope u see this..:)

we don't use baking powder on chapatai. only whole grain wheat flour an water.
