Nice video. Wish you showed how you did the corner. Also, looks like you sat the tile on the counter and still managed to get a bit of a grout line between the countertop and tile. Ive seen some videos where they use spacers.
Great job it looks perfect! I'm about to install the exact same glass mosaic but have consulted a few sources that say for best results to use a thinset mortar made specifically for glass tile. Does it really make a difference?
You should try to remove the mirror if possible howerever you might be able to use a bonding primer over the mirror first. You would have to check with the manufacturer of the primer first. I have a video on my channel called “how to tile over tile “ You could watch that video to see which primer I used. Thanks for watching
Well done 👏 love love love love 👍. Very beautiful
Thanks, appreciate your support
Looks great, I’ve never actually laid glass tile before, and I didn’t know you needed a wet saw to cut it. Great tips 🤙🏼
Thanks pal
Great demo from a true pro! Thank you and peace...
Thank you for your kind word. Thanks for watching.

How did you handle the corners where the walls meet?
You make it look easy, without equipment, need to hire, I'l hire you anytime. 😁👍
That is true however, you can rent this equipment if you don’t have.
Thanks for your kind words
the result looks so great, thanks! :)
Thank you, appreciate your kind words.
Been wanting to do a glass tile DIY, thanks for the video! Excited to try :)
I hope it helped, thanks for visiting.
Great job I liked it
Thank you, it turned out amazing
I want to tile around my stove there is no ledge . Will i need trim to hold the tile. Im using peel and stick glass tile.
No, you don’t need any trim if your using peel and stick tile.

Thank you, honestly no, on a kitchen backsplash you will be fine with using mastic
How much contact cement do I layer on.
Use a 3/16” v-notched trowel to spread your mastic
How thick is it layered on though?
I have same tiles in brown n off white but I have no idea how to use
Thanks for the idea
It’s really pretty easy, give it a try I’m sure you’ll do great 👍
Its a bit fast and what do you do if you have no wet saw
Sorry it was a bit fast. If you have the ability to rent a wet saw, would be an option. I wouldn’t suggest starting a glass tile project without one.
Is it used to cut the tiles? Could I fit the tiles without cutting them at all?
@@moiracoach8630 yes, used to cut the tile. I don’t think you could do it without one.
What type / brand of grout did you use? I'm assuming unsanded so as not to scratch glass?
Yes unsanded Prism made by Custom
What if my backsplash is mirror right now, can I stick mosaic to the mirror?
You should try to remove the mirror if possible howerever you might be able to use a bonding primer over the mirror first. You would have to check with the manufacturer of the primer first.

Do you know the name/style of the tile used?
I believe it was mosaic grey white from Mona Serra collection, I think it was purchased at the Home Depot
What size trowel notch?
3/16”
Looks good in new house with all plumb walls. The angles and measurements (corners) will be the problem
True, this is not a new house though, it’s 47 years old. There was a fire and it had to be gutted and re drywalled
Thanks for watching
Ok. . Everything looked even. Good job !
@@antoinesmith8849 thanks, appreciate it
Good
Thank you
Convenient didn’t have to cut glass at receptacles
Yes, worked out almost perfectly, not always the case.
I know, was hoping to see how you cut them.
glass is king these days. Makes anything else look weak
I agree
