Let the haters hate, it's obvious no matter what it is you've come across it surely is not staged!! It's funny to read those guys like they know anything at all about how much work goes into trying to revive one of these old worn out vehicles. Great to see this one somehow make it back to driving (if only of a farm ever again)!! Thanks so much for putting in the time and hard work Chad.
please think about Chad He also has to edit all of this for us and he does excellent job of that too!
Definitely one for the win column, Goodwood Chad, thanks for sticking with it for our entertainment. We do appreciate you.
Central California watching
Who would hate this this is great stuff 👍
There are skepdicks that won’t believe regardless of what you show them. You cannot stage this. No matter what they witness ( even first hand!!! ), they will NEVER believe it!!!
Man. I agree some of those will it start video's are staged, this one is the real deal !
Making the impossible, possible. That tree making the ride around the farm with you was hilarious!
Love the tree! 😂
Nice job!! Thank you for getting the old girl one last breath of life at the old farm!!
That was amazing. Can’t believe that ran and drove
Wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwmwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwswwwwwwswwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Gotta always have faith in the autolite 2 barrel those things will always come around. Nice 76 ford!
That was like the junk my brother and I would buy for a 100 bucks and get going back in the 80s! Love it!
I'll have to pay somebody to take this heap!!
Enjoyed the video Chad 🙂👍 Always a welcomed surprise when there's a guest appearance from *Ms. Daisy!* Happy wrenching 🔧🔩
👍
I wish we could have seen what came flying out of the exhaust. I love that part.
Strong work; surprised the old duraspark box hadn’t puked its guts out.
Somebody was trying to start it while it was locked up and didn’t try to turn it by hand like you did! They ground the ring gear down with the starter without turning it by hand and breaking it loose! The 360 sounds pretty strong Chad!
That probably happened due to the mices building a nest in the bellhousing. The part where the teeth are rusted was sitting at the bottom and they built a nest there. They pee in their nests and that's what rusted the teeth away.
I found your channel about a month ago. I have enjoyed your videos. You're just a common everyday guy that likes to resurrect old vehicles. You don't try to act like you know everything, you make mistakes and you own up to them. That makes me like you even more. Keep the videos coming
I'm always amazed how resilient those old engines are. Bust them free, clean the points, add fuel and away she goes!
Nice truck way to go it deserved to to be brought back to life and I am a Chevrolet man.
Chad. You seriously need to go put the chain wrench on the old international truck! I can imagine the oil viscosity isn’t up to par as long as it’s been sitting!
This is so ironic, I loved the video. I just posted my video on an F250 startup. It is my truck, and I hope to put it to work this spring. The cab and bed were nearly identical condition to mine. Thanks for not giving up on the old girl, Chad. 😊
We grew up and our first trucks were Fords m from my oldest brother had a 74 Ford Ranger and my next to oldest brother had a Ford Explorer 76 model! My first new truck was a Ford F150 Custom, and my first truck was a used 1968 F100 with 240 engine! I later swapped it out with a 71 model 302! Thanks for sharing Chad, I always enjoy your videos and nothing negative brother!
I had a 1976 F100 that basically died right in a Mazda dealership parking lot after running probably over 300k miles and much of it was in the city with all of the stop and go operation 😳 😅
Battery powered sawzall might be a better option for the small tree removal process.
I'd rather it not take all day.
That is awesome Chad that you got her to come back to life it's just a shame that the rest of her is just too far gone
I can't believe you got it running that well for little or no money, nice job sir!
You definitely should use the chain wrench every time you try to spin a motor that’s seized! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Chad you should go revisit the old International truck on that farm! I bet the chain wrench would give it hell brother!
This absolutely has to be one of the best revivals I have ever seen well done great video
Preshate it! 👍
dont worry bout the greenies.. billions of trees been cut down for farming. ask them if they like to eat....@@ThisNThatGarage
ya know whats stoopid about fords,, they won le mans.. chev didnt..yes im a ford guy, because chevs are cheap. there 454, is almost a copy of a 460.. if,, they designed the 350 like the 454, it,d be a better,,engine..@@ThisNThatGarage
ya know why ford is counter clockwise...... give chev a chance to catch up.. i dont reaslly car.. there all good.. ausie..@@ThisNThatGarage
those mirrors are 650 bucks each,,here in aus.. you cant buy them, obsolete.. id be taking all the good things off, & ebaying them..even any panels..@@ThisNThatGarage
Life is finite, but in the case of this old truck she has defied the laws of nature.
It warms my heart to see life reborn into this man made machine, and only man can give her life again.
It takes more than just man to revive these old machines, it takes character and soul to care enough to see life where others only see death and disappointment. Life is man and man is life, thank you for sharing your life with us and these incredible machines.
The only difference between a 360 and a 390 is the crank, pistons and rods. A 428 has a larger bore and a 427 is a very special beast with very expensive rotating assembly and are made for high RPM.
Yeah, I still laugh at all the people that talk trash on the 360 but praise the 390. The 360 was nothing special, just a run of the mill everyday smog truck engine but I don't think a lot of these people realize a 445 stroker kit drops right into it with no grinding to the block for clearance whatsoever. All the 360 is, is a .050" over 352 in reality. Too bad Ford chose to sink the pistons way down in the hole to reduce compression for emissions instead of having a proper set of pistons that came up to the top of the deck and just use the proper CC dish to obtain desired compression ratio. They would have run a lot better that way.
Them little saplings will grow back so damn quick! I been cutting back our land all season long cuz the woods are just taking over! Good work bud!
I must say. The nostalgia of getting an old vehicle to roll out of it's grave under its own power, is beginning to grow on me. I know the work it takes to get it to run and move. You work hard on these vehicles. I give you a nod of respect Sir.
Love the things you do. It’s better than the other will it runs.
Always glad to catch your videos. Keep up the good work.
Sir you are awesome, love your videos. Thank you for all your hard work. I pulled out my first car like this sitting up in totally covered with brains.
Good job, Chad....it can never be said that you give up. Good to see it running again after 30yrs
Keep gettin after it Chad! Sure so enjoy all you share! Blessings
What a bloody fantastic video 😮 The agony of defeat was not going to be stolen from the thrill of Victory ! Really enjoyed that... 👍Augh-Ya...
I cant believe it ran, let alone drove! Just goes to show, they used to build stuff to last once upon a time!..... Awesome job!👍🏻😁
So did this one inspire you to go back and give the International truck another try? Maybe with the chain to get it to turn? What was wrong with the molasses? Enjoy them all. Keep it up.
The IH was turning, it just won't free up.
Great video Chad keep up the great videos
I heard Ford is going to offer heated tailgates on their newer trucks. That way in the winter your hands don't get cold when you inevitably have to push it. 😁

I can't believe you drove that rig out of its grave bravo
Perfect truck to bring back to driver status.
Use her As a yard truck for now of coarse , I can't see the frame but the box is basically turned into Corn Fakes ...lol Keep going with her Chad ,and that hood looks like 69 Chevelle
It was very cool watching you get that 76 Ford running again. Keep up the great work Chad and the cool videos 👍✌️🇺🇲
Man that ole Chevy hitting a lick nicely ❤
Wow !! You are amazing when it comes to these old worn out dead vehicles. I honestly never thought that would run but for it to not only run but drive, wow!! Love the happy little tree ! Chad I truly hope you can keep this channel open it/you are by far the best thing on TH-cam !!!
It was a real bummer to have to wait till Wednesday for one of your excellent videos. Did you ever find your tool box key? Loved the stake pocket tree.
Chad you're the Dr. Frankenstein of autos you bring dead things back to life
That is just simply amazing that you could drive that old truck around the farm, it was part of the farm.😂😂😂
I just want to say you're the MAN !!!
You are the living proof that trucks and trees will Ruin your knees. From tree surgeon to knee surgeon. Your mumma must be very proud of you. Love the show and a big Hi from the uk.
Great job getting the ole Ford up and running. Love your videos. Keep up the great work...
Mr This and That, thankyou for being so hard headed and persisting with lockjaws granddaddy.Great Video regards Rob
Always love your revivals!
When I first saw that truck I would have thought that one will never start. Show's what I know good video and a good job Chad
If you ever run into another engine that's locked this badly, you can use unsweetened lemon juice to help get it unlocked.
I was told about it by an old mech back in the early 90's and he was in his mid-late 70's then so he was one of the "Old Guys" from back in the day that knew stuff most of us had never heard of - And we all know those guys knew about such things out of necessity in their own time of doing things.
It MUST be pure, 100% unsweetened lemon juice or it will not work because if it has anything else in it, that ruins the chemical composition of it so it. It works due to the citric acid content of the juice in that citric acid attacks rust but won't harm any good metal that's present but again it must be 100% pure unsweetened lemon juice to work.
In my case I used it not long ago to unlock an engine in a 1930 Model A that had sat for 40 years and yes - It was locked tight. The owner and the shop working on it coudn't get it freed up but I offered to do it when I asked the shop owner what was going on with it and by the next day I had it freed up and even test ran it later that day.
All I did was I filled/flooded the cylinders with the juice and let it sit overnight, then the next morning I poured some oil in , let that soak in for a few minutes and rocked the car while it was in high gear and it broke loose without too much trouble.
For really bad cases it may take an extra night to really work but it will.
You (Or anyone) can test this sometime by simply finding something rusted such as a nut and bolt (Or really anything) that's rusty and submerge it in the juice overnight. The next day you'll literally be able to wipe the rust off with a paper towel so be sure to try it some time and see for yourself.
It just works.
That was pretty awesome, I didn’t think that one going to come back from the dead . Awesome job , I love watching your channel and your other one , keep it going
When that shot out it made me jump 😂😂 keep making these videos please don't let the hate get to you stay strong Mr chad
You’re amazing! How you bring these old vehicles back to life! You are truly amazing! Chad ! Keep them coming! Enjoyed every video! 👌👍
This reminds me of a rusty pile of crap I got running one time.
It was a 78 with a 302 had been sitting for 35 years when I pulled it out of a holler in Ohio
It was left for dead after popping out of gear and rolling into said holler.
Lol great video Chad! Keep em' rolling.
By the way that black gmc in that tree row needs to be resurrected some time.
This has the makings of, and deserves a million views.
👍
Chad, I've been a Ford guy my whole life. I love when you bring these ole Blue Ovals back to life. Brings a tear to the eye. Great video my friend. Maybe , just maybe, we might make you a Ford guy as well one day.
Ford chevy dodge hell they are all good and all have made bad ones too lol. I also enjoyed watching this ole ford come back to life.
Very Cool. At the end I thought you would drive it into the pond to give the tree some water and later to cool that motor down. Cheers.
Great resurrection! Seeing the tree in the bed when you pulled out was the topping of this entertaining video.
Chad the engine and brakes sound like a Ford that just rolled out of the factory😉. I think you should make a Channel Logo with a truck with a tree growing out of the bed! I have seen at least 2 of your resurrections with trees in the beds!
The best thing is the tree that grew in the bed, flying like a flag in the back as you drove off 😂. Well done
Loved the video! Those Ford spring hangars were bad for rusting out. I've replaced a few
Absolutely amazing Chad! I'm starting to think you can make just about anything come back to life and drive.
Thank you for the entertainment and the handwork you do.
And for all those tree huggers find something else to complain about.
Those "trees" were originally weeds that grew long enough to become trees and the same process will continue and or happen again with or without Chad's intervention.
Go learn about how nature works and see the light!
Love the tree!😂😂😂 I'm glad that you moved to Wednesdays and there were a lot more commercials with this episode than I've ever seen on your channel which I know is good for you buddy.👍👍
You'd be surprised how much water you can get straight from the pump. Sometimes they have leaky tanks and sometimes its intentional.
I was thinking that maybe the belts and or the alternator or something else up front was stuck and when removed , you were able to break it loose and turn it over easier. Being its a Ford it should start if its all there.
Your perseverance is second to none! Great job
You got the engine running somewhat, but I think it's just a very tired engine😊 Still an old tired engine. Be careful and don't hurt yourself😮
Tree still being in the truck at the end was icing on the cake - awesome!!!
My experience with fe is to pull the valve covers and rocker racks first so don't bend the push rods because of stuck valves.
Daisy's got the good life, good neighbors good friends and snacks. Chad you're a good man for acknowledging her. Oh yea you're also pretty good with those resurrections thank you Sir for another great video 🙂🙃
Fantastic job. Great channel.
Great Respect for starting such old vehicles, I love watching these engines start and move the vehicle. I would like to learn so much myself.
Gotta love a good ole ford. She was just taking a bit of a nap all those years, ready to feel the breeze blowin through her again.
Really enjoyed watching you as always. Thank You👍🇬🇧
I laughed while you tried to explain how a farm works to folks that know everything already ( probably live in mamas basement and she feeds em too)I did not think you would get this thing to drive much less run.
A true revival, well done.
Another great video. Keep'em coming!
Frame and body rotten to the bones but an engine that will not die. It's pristine dash reflects the trucks soul.
Time for some awesome midweek entertainment! I was hoping you might get back to this ole ford!
The week and a half wait has been worth it, your videos make my week chad
Love dat old Ford. Blessings from Texas
Your more stubborn than they are rusted, for sure!
Your one of my favorites! Thanks for sharing
When you drove it out of it's grave flying the freedom maple, I was laughing! When the zombies come for us all, Chad will still be driving! Great stuff
Best looking pickup ever made, Ford F150 1976. Awesome video, thanks a lot.
I have a early 70's F250 my grandfather bought brand new with the camper attachments and everything absolutely stole it off the lot got a smoking good deal on it has the 460 which is the biggest truck engine ford ever made thing hauls ass and has the dual fuel tanks and everything. My uncle rebuilt the engine with race cams and pistons and etc and truck is a beast because of it.
GOOD JOB CHAD, I LOVE IT!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The good thing about having it surrounded by trees like that is that it tells you that parts haven’t been robbed off it
Maybe your assistant can rebuild it like Pole
Barn Garage did with.that old Chevy. Great video as always. Thank you
Shocked the sh…ahem, stuff out of me when she barked off. I’m a Ford fan and I’m glad to see the old girl breathe fire again!
Excellent video Chad :) , that 1976 Ford F150 sure amazing me too and shock me got up running also test drive too ! Also seen worst rust out truck that one plus Domas and Lock Jaw too but power train was good on motor also transmission! Yes that be parts truck most certain and hope hear what happens to toi!
Chad, my friend…I say this with love….your insane! You plan on fixing this ol girl and put her back on the road? God your a saint
Well done, I didnt think you could get her rolling and driving again. I was wrong....!!
Chad, you are a badass! I've been waiting all week for my fix. Now for the next!
That was close I bet your eye browse was scorched.
Glad u ok
People will always leave hate comments. Some people has nothing better to do than to leave negative comments. Keep doing what you do. Love your content on both channels.
Well you did a correct job of field timing it. They always start.
That thing came out of there with that damn tree coming out of the bed like it was waiving a flag! 😂
Wow, I wouldn't have believed it if you hadn't filmed it. You are a mad man sir, and I love it.
thanks for all that you do for all of us watching.
Perseverance , You have about twice as much as me . Will it run ? . YES it will . Other than that , the suspension is shot , the body is shot , the brakes are N / A . The motor could be re-built and put into another more capable body and you would have a running driving truck , ( or car ) . You have proved that any vehicle has a purpose , God Bless you Chad , He is definately on your side , Till next time , Stuart in Canada ..
