I never had a fold phone so I bought my z fold 6 a couple of weeks ago and let me tell u switching from s22 ultra and the iPhone 15 it's a huge upgrade I'm a gamer and I play fortnite with 90 fps and max settings it's a brilliant phone will definitely be my main phone now

Samsung seems to be pulling an Apple move with the turtle speed innovations to squeeze as many dollars out of us as they can.
I like how they dropped almost the exact same amount in battery percentage. That may not be accurately displayed but it clearly shows how little samsung tried to improve the battery of the 6. When will they step it up.
Z fold 5 still fast no need to upgrade and if you don’t have it just wait for biggest upgrade such as removing the crease and much stronger inner screen because you have to do extra care while using it
Why synthetic benchmarks are not the be all end all for hardware. If you dont have them side by side the speed improvements would be unnoticed by anyone. The only real benefit to 6 over 5 is the brightness bump which helps with viewing the screen outside. That being said, the 5 gets plenty bright.

I suspect after the Z fold 6 is used open and closed for a month or two , the crease will be much the same as the z fold 5 , I'll be interested to see how it goes down the track a bit. They need to do something about the narrow front screen, if you have biggish hand and or fingers , the narrow front screen is a deal breaker. Try typing on a super narrow screen with big fingers , it sucks meaning you'll be opening up the device all the time.
The fold 6 front screen feels insanely better than the fold 5. Actually one of the reasons I love my fold 6 over the fold 5. Both are great, but the fold 6 had the improvements in the right spots.

I’m actually not that bothered about the phones like that, only reason I’m upgrading is because the 3 has started with speaker issues, I don’t hear people most time, makes all sorts of noise, only works at certain angle when opened, then there’s the line going down the middle now, at one point the opened screen won’t come on, just doing my head in with the calls really as it’s a work phone for me 😅 - so in terms of speaker issue and screen issues, which should I go for pls?

I have the 5, it definitely was a massive upgrade from the 4. Probably won't upgrade until they integrate a dedicated s pen slot and hopefully a larger better.

@Greedo1977 for me, The 5 was a big upgrade, feels so much more premium, thinner, it open and closer better and I noticed the battery did improve. The main changes from the 5 to 6 really seem to just be ai, albeit a few other minor things. I don't think the 5 tp the 6 is worth it.

My Z fold 5 did better than your z fold 6 in wild life extreme with 3808 22.81 fps and 75% faster than most devices but that was also early days with z fold 5 coming out
The concern is the dust their being no resistance to it also their aren’t any cases for it also it’s to fragile also what if you have chunkier hands then their are issues
I have the fold 5 and dust ruined my screen from the inside. I have dead pixels in the crease now. I can hear the dust inside the hinge when i close it so it's still a problem

I upgraded from ZF4 and the face unlock on the ZF6 works sooooo much better. Looks like they had already fixed it with the 5.
But they got rid of the finger print scanner gestures. One step forward, another step backwards lol. Apparently they removed it with the 5.
