It infuriates me to no end that the developers were so rushed that they weren't even allowed to finished the interiors of buildings that they already had models for!
@@JohtoMaster_Gold I'd much rather aim at the people in charge. It's not the developers fault if the boss says 'leave it out, we have a ludicrous yearly release schedule to hold up'
they could've delayed SV until 2023 considering we had a blank year in 2024 and 2 main games in 2022. Like they could've completed SV in 2023, DLCs in 2024, like they rushed two games out in 2022 for what?
Fun assumption: you realize how most of the Pokémon Game titles are sociatal opposites of each other? Red and blue, Gold and Silver, Black and White ect? Scarlet and Violet are also opposites of each other, or at the very least not chosen randomly, since infrared and ultraviolet are both colours that humans aren't able to see.
I have not seen a ditto block that wasn't blue or deep purple (instead of the medium pink they should be). in all 3 of my playthrough. "first gym you can go against" yeah about that... Bug gym is always the fourth one I do because the other are easier. The hanging ball in the DLC map does not "change color depending on progress" you literaly have to talk to Briar, go in the cave so she can actually colelct the stuff she says multiple time she will put in the ball to mix. Also Paldea scraps crystal. It's not something that changes based on story progress, it's something that changes when you complete the related quest segment. it's no surprise, the game even tells you so multiple time and so does the NPC. "did you know the stars member placement... blabla" yeah, we know. or at least those who reads the in-game conversation will know. It's written in some books as well. You ever paid attention to anything the npc said? I'm starting to notice a pattern here... The loading icon changes not based on where you go, but if you change map or stay in the same map. The plane is only when you switch map (I.E. paldea to dlc map. etc.)
If you have PokemonBank you can transfer Scatterbug/Spewpa/Vivillon into PokemonHome and into SV. Both XY and USUM have wild encounters for Scatterbug pretty early, though their Vivillon forms are region locked depending on your 3ds location from when you started the game. You can get different Vivillon forms without much trading by changing your 3ds location, but you'll need to start a new save to make it work. You'd probably be able to trade for the other forms in PokemonHome's GTS since some regions might not be available to choose on your 3ds. Other than that, yeah. Fancy patterns are the only catchable Vivillons in SV without any other outside sources.
I love surprise trades. I have the green Vivillion type in the game, as well as a blue with very little white, a red with a bit of orange, a darker blue with what looks like a star pattern, a mostly white with light blue, and a shiny of the mostly blue with just a bit of white. How many types are there?
Theres was one secret that wasn't mentioned which I thourght was pretty cool, Cyrano scarf in the indigo disk is the exact same to the one pattern on honedge and doublade from X and Y, could been another reference or hinting something for aegislash in Legends AZ :)
Another hint with the essentia suit to a possible za hint is the person who uses the suit in Pokemon generations has a map that looks like the map of legends za
I will never get over how there were no interiors in this game. The pokemon games are the reason for my love and study of interior design and architecture. I was so excited to see what all the different towns style of housing was, but no dice.... But! I can't tell you how excited I am for Legends ZA, Because it's entire *thing* is city building!
7:43 that’s actually crazy. But idk how they expected us to put that together. 23:49 I’m disappointed we didn’t get these combined forms. Especially for the Swords of Paradox since they still just look like robots of the originals.
Another thing about Gimmighoul's antennae and the dowsing rods, dowsing rods are used in paranormal investigations to detect spirits and communicate with them. Hence, Gimmighoul's Ghost typing.
Fun fact, the reason Trapinch dig the holes to catch prey is because they are based off of Ant Lions that create pits in the ground with their body’s buried in the ground with only their jaws out of the ground waiting for prey to fall in the hole
10:45 I doubt that was a hint to Scarlet and Violet. Those aren’t oranges growing on the vines-those are Pinap Berries. Subsequently, the berry paired with it are Bluk Berries.
Minor correction, Kieran withdrew from the Elite Four so Crispin was not in fact kicked out. Also, it was confirmed during a conversation between Lacy and Nemona that Clay is indeed Lacy's father.
Penny has a Game Boy Classic, a DS Lite, and a gamecube, well in most previous Gens, the players house will have the corresponding console, like the wii, the NES, i think in Firered and leaf green there's the Gamecube cuz in hoenn the player's room is barren so that it can be decorated like a secret base, but yeah, im pretty sure all the consoles exist in the pokemon world, you'll even see kids in trainer schools with handheld consoles trading pokemon
3:45 yes, its confirmed because in the previous game since Red and Blue, the MC has had a NES, a Gamecube with a Gameboy Advanced as a controller, a wii, a WiiU, and now A Switch, so yes nintendo consoles canonically exist in the Pokemon Universe.
Raikou, a sabretooth tiger Pokemon, in post-game can be found near the Icerend Shrine, where you can catch Chien-Pao, another Legendary sabretooth Pokemon.
I just realised that while I made sure to do all the other little side side quests I completely forgot about Billy and O'Nair... I think I just battled them once, not sure, they left me with the clue that they were visiting a waterfall in Paldea. And now they are still there, completely forgotten.
12:55 Even better: Meloetta can now - like Keldeo in Sword and Shield - be caught with your own OT. This is great for us collectors out there for who's livingdex we want to have with our own OT - but not from Go.
For the mesagoza plaza it also hinted at the stellar type before it even arrived as the center had a rainbow design hinting at all 18 types becoming one
15:25 there is a dialogue later in the indigo disk I think with Amarys describing the resolution of the events of the dlc (when she gives you the ability to fly) revealing that kieran believes he doesn't deserve the position and steps down as champion and from the league completely so that crispin can keep his position.
The drawings in the scarlet/violet book was never suicune/virizion. It's a mashup of *all three* legends of each trio. The easiest to explain is the future one. It has the legs and horns of *terrakion* the neck of *cobalion* and the body of *virizion* in the same vein, the past one has the stripes of *raikou* half its face plate is *suicune* and the other half is *entei* It was a sneaky way to say "there's 3 of them" but so so *so* many people immediately jumped on "it's suicune and virizion" when they extremely clearly has every mon in the trio
21:32 the fact that this is the very first instance where shiny form changes the color of move or anything else than its own texture in general is crazy. We need more of these kinda things, cause a lot of moves dont really match the colors of pokemon when they should (like regular vaporeon using acid armor and it melts purple instead of blue. Coincidentially it does fit the shiny vaporeon tho). We definitely need shinies to affect more things than just texture tbh, to really make them seem rare and special. For example a shiny ditto could always transform into the shiny variants of other pokemon (yes, it aint lore accurate to dittos since they accurately transform to whatever they tryna mimic as, but it would at least be fun and make them more special, even transforming into the shiny variants of shiny-locked pokemon)
Another thing that might be a coincidence is the underside of carmine and kieran's hair are scarlet and violet respectively maybe a reference how carmine is the oldest and kieran is the youngest/newest?
16:36 Note: pasada only works as an adjective. For speaking about "the past" as in "the past" we use the masculine pasado as in "el pasado" (the past).
You have some interesting pronunciations for some of these, like serendipity/ Fezandipiti, but mostly I was surprised to hear you refer to the 3 Swords as "legendary forces"? But the main reason I wanted to comment was because you didn't mention that if you ask the lady Peach in Kitikami to pay with LP enough times, she actually will start accepting it for payment.
Don't forget Crispin has a secret line where if you make the sandwich for his challenge but leave the top bread off when you make it, he'll comment that it must be a Paldea thing or something like that. A fun nod to all the players making open faced sandwiches :D
The joy-cons of the switch are coded to match your joy-cons, same as Let’s Go and Sword/Shield. You can also change this since the colors are coded in the firmware. Switch lite is lock to gray, though. Stellar Garchomp the treasure room is accessible during the story portion of the Indigo Disc.
9:48 not to mention you need LP to buy TMs. An LP is an old timey acronym for "length play" which is another word for a vinyl record, and TMs are always pictured as a CD or an LP.
22:05 Cyrano is not the first or only NPC that trades a guaranteed shiny: In B2W2, if you beat Benga, son of Alder and the boss of the Black Tower/White Treehollow, he will ask you to come to his father's house where he gifts you a shiny Gible in B2 or a Dratini in W2 :)
Actually about crispin being kicked out of the elite four doesn’t happen, after you complete the indigo disk amyrs says that Kieran withdrew himself from the ranking system all together meaning crispin stays an elite four member there it’s also shown more when you rematch him it plays the bb elite four theme
Fun fact (don’t know how many people know) but if you go back in to area 0 after getting the professor book you will get some new information (don’t know if it’s just the other version info on the Pokémon but I thought it was cool)
Around the 430 mark for the treasure cave in the area zero underground it is not true you must beat the dlc to get inside it. I went looking for the door and the garchomp to know where to go afterwords and he was already spawned so I killed him to see if it'd open early and the door became unblocked. I don't know who started the whole beat the dlc first thing but that's not a requirement.

You stretched to get 90 with things like "haha bear eat honey" or "did you see the very obvious substitute doll in your house?" yet didn't research all the ones that people may have actually missed
It infuriates me to no end that the developers were so rushed that they weren't even allowed to finished the interiors of buildings that they already had models for!
That means they can add the interiors into the games, they're just choosing not to
@@JohtoMaster_Gold I'd much rather aim at the people in charge. It's not the developers fault if the boss says 'leave it out, we have a ludicrous yearly release schedule to hold up'
@@lunar9342 finally a sane person talking about this.
And obviously it's impossible to add things post release.
they could've delayed SV until 2023 considering we had a blank year in 2024 and 2 main games in 2022. Like they could've completed SV in 2023, DLCs in 2024, like they rushed two games out in 2022 for what?
Fun assumption: you realize how most of the Pokémon Game titles are sociatal opposites of each other?
Red and blue, Gold and Silver, Black and White ect?
Scarlet and Violet are also opposites of each other, or at the very least not chosen randomly, since infrared and ultraviolet are both colours that humans aren't able to see.
nuhhhhhhhhhh you don't sayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
@@jason38800 No need to be rude, the reason why Scarlett and Violet are opposites might not be as obvious to everyone, as it is to you.
Theory: the pokeball in the middle of the mesagosa town referenced the stellar type all along
The plane is only when you switch map (I.E. paldea to dlc map. etc.)
I think this guy intentionally says ignorant things to get people to angrily comment.
i always do grass gym then go to bug next and i save cringey iono for last
... Isn't fancy pattern the ONLY Vivillion you can get without Go...?
At least after X and Y servers shut down. until then, trade for the rest.
You do realize that Fancy Pattern Vivillion is the only one accessible in Gen 9 without transferring?
I love surprise trades. I have the green Vivillion type in the game, as well as a blue with very little white, a red with a bit of orange, a darker blue with what looks like a star pattern, a mostly white with light blue, and a shiny of the mostly blue with just a bit of white. How many types are there?
@@JetTheBaron idk if anyone mentioned it but ive seen if you send postcards from pokemon Go to Sv you can get the other patterns!
@@heatherdrinkwater6941 there are 20 patterns you can get in game, plus the Pokeball pattern which is event only
Theres was one secret that wasn't mentioned which I thourght was pretty cool, Cyrano scarf in the indigo disk is the exact same to the one pattern on honedge and doublade from X and Y, could been another reference or hinting something for aegislash in Legends AZ :)
1:45 that's literally just the default Vivillon wing pattern in SV; only thing it means is they decided to make it not event locked anymore lol
Wanna hear another secret? Crabman was involved in this video. No cap, i've seen him.
real
Perrin’s hairstyle also seems to suggest some shared ancestry with Irida. Who knows, maybe they decided to unite the diamond and pearl clans.
There's no confirmation
Just speculation.
Irida hair is blond.
@@AgnesBooth-zu7twlook at the hair style, not the hair color. We know who she gets the hair color from.
27:19 ngl first time i ever heard them referred to as the legendary horses
i laughed alittle when he said that came to the comment section to see if anyone commented on that
99.9% chance he said that to boost engagement, 0.1% chance he forgot what the swords of justice are called and made up a name.
Man knowing now Pokémon sv could have have interiors just makes me sad
That means they can put interiors in the games, they're just choosing not to.
17:27 you forget. That thing is a static Jumbo spawn.
Raikou, a sabretooth tiger Pokemon, in post-game can be found near the Icerend Shrine, where you can catch Chien-Pao, another Legendary sabretooth Pokemon.
very much love videos like these! thanks so much for making it!
I just realised that while I made sure to do all the other little side side quests I completely forgot about Billy and O'Nair... I think I just battled them once, not sure, they left me with the clue that they were visiting a waterfall in Paldea. And now they are still there, completely forgotten.
For the phone cases, you don't need to have beaten those Games, you just need a save file from them
5:26 actually the orb is confirmed to have been changed by Briar using the information learned from Terapagos to add the stellar type to the dome
12:55 Even better: Meloetta can now - like Keldeo in Sword and Shield - be caught with your own OT.
This is great for us collectors out there for who's livingdex we want to have with our own OT - but not from Go.
The master ball from Kieran didn't "fail." He caught Terapagos hence why we had to battle. Kieran failed to return him.
For the mesagoza plaza it also hinted at the stellar type before it even arrived as the center had a rainbow design hinting at all 18 types becoming one
This was such a awesome video Ruffled ^^
Thanks! 😄
It has the legs and horns of *terrakion* the neck of *cobalion* and the body of *virizion* in the same vein, the past one has the stripes of *raikou* half its face plate is *suicune* and the other half is *entei*
It was a sneaky way to say "there's 3 of them" but so so *so* many people immediately jumped on "it's suicune and virizion" when they extremely clearly has every mon in the trio
Ive’d been waiting for this since release! tysm! Even before dlc trailers.
I’m guessing the 2 unused stones were used for changing Cyclizar into Koraidon or Miraidon respectively
2:10 or maybe... listen me out, it's just a normal Vivillon... considerin that's what they all look like (in S/V).
17:28 How I want there to be a Kakuna and Rattata as well. I know the meme is old now, but it still is one of my favourites.
What’s funny is, I tend to have two Rattatas in my box in each game they’re in, and always name one Hakuna. Just for the memes.😂
@@TheHylianDragonGirl Yes man, keep that culture alive! 😁👌
this was a banger video
❤🦀❤
I got one perrin does not appear in the indigo disk unless you complete the ursaluna sidequest.
The indigo disk???
Or the terrarium.
@@AgnesBooth-zu7tw She only appears inside the terrarium after you catch Ursaluna.
Since until you do, she's forever stuck in her slump in Kitikami
Funnily enough, when Kieran's demeanor first changed, you found him at the shop, right next to the hidden pecharunt
9:42 The way he says "Ocean" it sounds like "Oh Shit" 😂😂😂
4:30 You can do that before you beat the DLC too
16:36 Note: pasada only works as an adjective. For speaking about "the past" as in "the past" we use the masculine pasado as in "el pasado" (the past).
@@Lionwoman
Someone pointed it out too, yay.
Ugh there were several pronunciations like that, and they made me physically wince lol
He said “legendary horses.” He’s not a native English speaker I don’t think?
To add on to 6:00 - The traded Pokemon that Nemona gives you in the clubroom is a Paldean Tauros with 252 Atk, 252 Speed, and 4 HP.
Don't forget Crispin has a secret line where if you make the sandwich for his challenge but leave the top bread off when you make it, he'll comment that it must be a Paldea thing or something like that. A fun nod to all the players making open faced sandwiches :D
horse trio? they are the swords of justice
i thought they were based on deers, granted keldeo i guess does look horsey in the face alittle. but the others dont at all?
@@RaoaRahaga they are based on the three musketeers: Cobalion is Athos, Terrakion is Porthos, Virision is Aramis, and Keldeo is d'Artagnan
The stones at 8:00 are likely evo items for charcadet. The colour scheme simply matches both evolution
(about the orange and grape referance) the academy names, Naranja and Uva, translate to orange and grape
So then it’s orange, grape, and blueberry academy?
@@Visible_crying yes
which is probably why it's Blueberry Achadamy specificaly
I always see shiny Dipplin as more of a caramel apple rather than a candied apple that the design originally takes from. Both are on a stick still. ☺️
9:48 not to mention you need LP to buy TMs. An LP is an old timey acronym for "length play" which is another word for a vinyl record, and TMs are always pictured as a CD or an LP.
I thought LP was league points
@@Visible_crying it does, but also...
3:03 theres also joy con models for the Tears of the Kingdom Switch as well. Im curious what the other limited edition switch ones look like in game
In black and white 2 alder’s son gives you a guarantied shiny dratini or gibble depending on the version
It was his grandson, not his son ^-^'
In 16:47 the shape that represents the pokemon types seems inspired by the Compass Rose that you can find in Lisbon which is a pretty nice detail
Terapagos has the Area Zero motif in its cry
8:05 I Could see those being for evolving Charcadet
22:05 Cyrano is not the first or only NPC that trades a guaranteed shiny: In B2W2, if you beat Benga, son of Alder and the boss of the Black Tower/White Treehollow, he will ask you to come to his father's house where he gifts you a shiny Gible in B2 or a Dratini in W2 :)
Crispin didn’t get kicked out of the elite 4 Because Kieran didn’t accept the role as elite 4 member
Im sorry, Legendary HORSES?? They're called the Swords of Justice
I love the Joan Miro greninja painting. So good
Actually about crispin being kicked out of the elite four doesn’t happen, after you complete the indigo disk amyrs says that Kieran withdrew himself from the ranking system all together meaning crispin stays an elite four member there it’s also shown more when you rematch him it plays the bb elite four theme
Very helpful! Thank you.
Theres also fire terra shards under crispins arena, even furthering the idea of a frying pan inspired arena. :)
Fun fact (don’t know how many people know) but if you go back in to area 0 after getting the professor book you will get some new information (don’t know if it’s just the other version info on the Pokémon but I thought it was cool)
26:58 only 200 pokemon, not the whole Pokedex.
I can’t find the treasure cave
Yo i never made the correlation to Herba Mystica being HM's!
2:48 The Fortnite joy-cons work for this as well
