In Polish version Jax says Sanepid should check out the bathroom. It's a government organisation meant to inspect hygiene in restaurants and close them if they fail to meet standards
In Polish dubbing the names of the orbs are "Tytuś, Romuś, Atomuś". That's a refrence to an old Polish comic book named "Tytus, Romek i Atomek" about two boys and a monkey.
8:08 "pomoc dla powodzian" has its origins in an even greater flood from 1997. After this the term became very popular and normal and you can use it every time when you want to make fun of for example collecting money for a high goal.
That or when you wanna make fun of someone's clothing, suggesting that someone else threw it out, saying "did you steal those clothes from Help for Flood Victims?"
I watched whole episode in Polish dub Before i watched this video and i still didnt notice, if someone doesnt know it means "clock isn't clocking" like u would say math isn't mathing
my favorite thing about polish dubbing is that some voice actors and translators are actual youtubers, not really popular ones but they are and they say jokes like that all the time
Word "zajebiście" is curently loosing it's status as a swear word, over the years it's getting less and less used as a swear word and it's used like more harsher sounding "awesome" and more people accept it and use it on daily basis, so more accurate translation should be "freaking awesome" (sorry for bad spelling)
You also could add the part in the polish where in the original Jax said "the clock isn't working" while in the polish dub he said something more like "the clock isn't clocking"
I mean we have very good dubs in our country that basically become different movies when dubbbed. Some I'd say are better that the eng, Mainly Asterix and Obelix misja kleopatra, Shrek, nearly all animated big shots of 2000's and early 2010's. And there's also the polish version of deadpool which well... Ngl changed the humor of the character so much that it relied way to much on swear words. (Swears are nearly ingrained into everything that's just the way things are here.)
I think polish dubbing had it shine back in the day, until like 2015, i'm just throwing dates around beacuse i can't exactly tell you when has it all gone to shit but the polish dub in new shows has been a complete disaster. Let me actually show you a few examples. Gravity Falls polish dubbing? Amazing. Great. Awesome. It's from 2012/2013 and they did a great job. Amphibia (2019) was a horrible mistake. There are some moments where the dub sounds pretty good but that's just for a second. Overall they sound like they are just screaming reading the dialog out. Absolute no no. Shrek was fire. I like it way better than original. Frozen was also very good! Alice in Wonderland by Tim Burton was also good! The best of all: freaking Penguins from Madagascar, such an icon. It was absolutely beautiful. Arcane though? Man it was really tough to get trough it. Overall, the new cartoons have horrible dubbing so i'm not going to list them all but you get the point. It's not like we can't do good dubbing. For years the dub was always so good, we are PRAISED for the dubbing on The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077. TADC is also pretty good. And that's why i'm so dissapointed, beacuse a good dub is sooooo important, and if you fail to make it well, honestly just scrap it all, beacuse i would rather have no dub than a bad one.
Yeah polish dub back in the day was golden , but now deadpool 3 had horrible translation in subtitles, the owl house and changing people's names. But we also had some cringeworthy or rather meme worthy dubs mostly star wars 1-3. When we hit with our dubs it's amazing but nowadays that rarely happens which is honestly really sad. And another thing, is amphibia s3 on disney plus? I mean really Toh s3 still isn't on it, becasue i guess it wasn't dubbed. If anyone knows please let me know
The best animation that I think had similar humor to this was the Amazing World of Gumball. I absolutely loved the dubbing of tdc because it reminds me so much of the humor brought in with tawog
"ale chcę zebyś ty mnie lubił" didn't hit me like they would be hinting towards nothin, it's just something you would accept say, no romantic, or even friendly intentions needed
1:39 in polish "lubię cię" Doesn't have the same vibe as "i like you" And just mostly means positive opinion on someone (direct translation of word "hate" Would be just too harsh for that exchange of words) 1:48 she's literally a doll? 2:11 as someone else said in the comments "zajebiście" Is slowly becoming less of a swear word and instead something like "freaking awesome" 8:00 I don't think it's actually a reference to that but rather just a joke thrown sometimes here and there that probably emerged after 1997 flood that happened in basically the same area

not hating and liking are different, not hating is basically just tolerating or not caring about something/someone (neutral), liking something means you actually do care and have a connection with that person/thing (positive)
@@GLEGGGyou're making the same mistake as the creator Forgetting that not every word in every language works the same way "Lubię cię" In polish though being the direct translation to "i like you" Doesn't have the same vibe as in english and mostly just means having positive opinion on someone "Hate" Though mostly translated as "nienawidzieć" Is actually somewhere in between "lubić" And "nienawidzieć" With the latter being just too harsh for that exchange of words (it literally means you don't want to ever see something) So in conclusion: 1. "I don't like you but I want you to like me" Goes just smoother cuz don't forget it's meant to match the mouth movement 2. Ironically it conveys the meaning better than literal translation would
@waszyoutuber6613 Ragatha could have said "Nienawidzę cię, ale nie chcę żebyś ty mnie nienawidził", which is gramatically correct, but it would be more difficult to pronounce than what she ended up saying and it would mean a more visceral hate than in English as mentioned above Negating things is actually very easy in Polish. You just add the right prefix to most things For example: "Widziałam kogoś" = "I saw someone" "Nie widziałam nikogo" = "I didn't see anyone" Interestingly, you often end up negating things twice in order to get the same meaning "Nie ma tu nikogo" = "There's no one here" ("nikogo" is "no one", but "nie ma tu" means "there isn't here" - in this case in Polish you have to negate twice in order to be grammatically correct, while doing that in English would result in a weird sentence)
The Gloinks in the Polish dub are called „Tytuś, Romuś and Atomuś”. They reference the popular comic „Tytus, Romek i A’Tomek” about Tytus, a chimpanzee in the process of „humanifying” and his friends, Romek and A’Tomek. They go on various adventures as one would expect.
I like that in Russian dub they make Jax say "I'm feeling purple" instead of "I don't care" cuz here this line has the same meaning while also referencing his color Also in the scene when Cane says "You can shut up now" to Zouble, in Russian dub he says a reference to a local russian meme from the "Hunting season" cartoon. That's a phrase from when the bear hits the hunter with a golf club (dunno what he said in English tho so I can't explain the meme) Aaaand in the scene when Pomni talks to Gangle after her breakdown instead of saying "Here we go again" she says "And now it's the talking scene" as if she acknowledges that she plays by the script
6:15 in the Brazilian dub, in that scene with the crocs, instead of saying that he forgot to ask for a kid toy, he says that he forgot to ask for a happy meal. Because of that, the joke with "adult toy" was lost, and there's no adult joke at all
1.41 - in Poland, the word ''like'' is rarely used as something romantic, if you want to say 'i like you' in Polish, you normally use ''i have a crush on you,' 'I want to date/be with you' or just 'i love you',so the insinuation may have been pushing a close friendship on them
In the Indonesian dub, they brought a little political joke. So In the scene where those 3 gloinks are attacking a random mannequin, the gloink queen called the gloinks "Kaeby, Bobran, & Gisang" Which if we Scramble the syllables we got "Kaesang, Bobby, & Gibran". All three of them are big politicians, (Kaesang directed a political party, Gibran being a current vice president, and Bobby is the mayor of medan/city in Indonesia) and most importantly, they're the sons of Indonesia former president, joko widodo/Jokowi (Bobby is Jokowi's son in law). The Dubbers put that joke for fun and It is quite interesting to put that joke in the dub.
In the country that i'm from (brazil) the title of the episode is "One day the mask falls off" which might make sense because gangle switched her normal comedy mask to a comedy mask that zooble made to her
As a brazilian myself, i always thought that the title was the same across all regions, so i thought the original english title was also "ONE DAY THE MASK WILL FALL", and not "Fast Food Masquerade"
also in the Polish dub, the stupid burger is called "burger drzeworąbcy" which means lumberjack's burger and it's a reference to a mcdonalds burger available in Poland only (at least I think so) which is called burger drwala (also meaning lumberjack's burger)
In the Polish dubbing, one of the puppets talked about having his own breakfast cereal, refering them as Mlekołaki which are known throughout Poland as the best breakfast cereals. But best are Corn Flakes
In fairness, she is a bit more "high" than drunk. XD I think Jax was just saying "I don't give a f8ck but she's definitely off" cause in english, when you say "You're drunk" it usually is an insult meaning "you're acting stupid." calling someone high though implies you're concerned about them since drug references have been mostly banned from media until recent times except Alcohol.
I love this video, and I'm glad you're showing more people how Glitch's localizing teams handle the show! Just a note though editing wise, the Spanish dub of Digital Circus is made in Latin America, so using the Spain flag in 4:16 is wrong and inaccurate since that would mistakenly refer to this dub as if it was in the Castilian dialect. I'm sure you know that already as the majority of TV shows and movies also separate Spanish localization of media into two different dubs made for Latin America and Spain, but I think it's important to note that TADC's only Spanish dub is Latin American and that distinction is pretty important to people since basic Spanish from Spain is different from Spanish in Latin American countries. If you want a flag to better represent the Latin American Spanish dub of this show, I suggest using the Latin American Parliament flag (Parlamento Latinoamericano) since it represents all Latin American countries and many of the actors and translators working for TADC's Spanish dub are from Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Panama and Guatemala.
As a Latina, we use the Spain flag to represent our language regardless of where it's spoken, and since there is only one Spanish dub, I see the use as correct
@@YouHaveBeenRui_ned I'm from Spain and I don't think so. Spain dubs and LatAm dubs are different and are almost never mixed up between regions nowadays.
HOLD ON BRUDOLINA IS THE DUB? HOLY SHIT I NEED TO START WITH POLISH THEY LITTERALY CAST THE PERFECT VOICE FOR EACH CHARACTER IS (atleast thats what happend in their helluva boss episodes)
You know what, I watched both the original English and French versions of the episode. In 4:49 when you mention the Gloink Queen's children being named Huey, Dewey and Louie, (Riri, Fifi and Loulou in French), I genuinely didn't know how I missed that.
Fun fact: In the scene where jax says "You did not just make that today's adventure" in portuguese is "Não é possível que ele escolheu a sua ideia", wich translates to "It's not possible that he chose your idea"
8:15 No, Gooseworx confirmed there will be only one season. It was just a joke that Gangles Manic episode is 3 Seasons long instead of just one episode. Unless they changed their plans, but then they could announce it more officially xD
Well Viv only planned 2 seasons of Hazbin Hotel but got greenlit for 4 seasons total due to the immense popularity of the show. Goosworx maybe only planned one season and wanted to leave it at that, but it seems like an odd thing to say knowing the fans would read it as "There will be 3 more seasons" Still given how long it takes to make each episode, it's entirely possible during the making of episode 4, she realized there is more story she could tell. since this show is really popular.
1:05 In the Arabic dub, Ragtha said that she wishes someone would court her 3:13 In the Arabic dub, Pomni said There was a creature like a hideous head 4:16 In Arabic, Jax said, “Tell me you’re kidding.” 4:33 In Arabic, their names are Kashmiri penyatah Caroita 5:26 In Arabic, she said, “I think the smell made her dizzy.” 6:20 In Arabic he said you are no longer a child 7:33 In Arabic, Ragtha said, “You are always pessimistic, why are you always tangled?” 8:09 In Arabic, Jax said, “What is this nonsense? You started donating organs.”?
In the Latin American spanish version, when Jax says "you're dr-nk or something" to Ragatha, they translated it to "think whatever you want" (in response to her saying she doesn't want him to hate her). American cartoons for kids have this trope in which characters act intoxicated but they never say they are. Even if this series is not for kids, I guess the translators are very aware that kids watch it anyway. Then again, kids hear about the effects of alcohol from a very early age, so it's still a weird decision to change the line completely.
Well I think because people misinterpreted Jax's phrase as him literally saying "Oh you're drunk/high" but he was really saying what the Spanish dub said, "I don't care what you think." As in American English, saying "You're drunk" is just an insult meaning "you're acting dumb and wasting my time." It's just less common for him to say "you're high" because only recently did drug humor start to appear in media after a very strong anti drug campaign in the 90s (it was so aggregious, even MENTIONING illegal drugs in school was treated as badly as swearing, something that's also not as big a deal now a days), so it makes sense other languages would have him scoff "you're high" and those that don't want to reference drugs would have him say some variant of "I'm not in the mood right now." The US english version does both at the same time. but you'd only know it if you grew up around the slang (as alcohol was never treated with such scrutiny so most kids would insult each other saying "You're drunk, go home".)
Would be funny if he said I'm FUUUUUu-----u-beep beep beep beeeeeeeep- *glitches out and bleep noises* ----- king *turns into Kinger for a frame* awesome!"
In the Dutch version, the horseradish sauce was changed to dandelion honey to fit the horse pun in there. "Paarden" = "Horses" "Paardenbloemhoning" = "Dandelion Honey"
In the Polish dub, when jax mentions the clock is not working, he says 'Zegar nie zegaruje' which translates to 'the clock isn't clocking.' which is a reference to how we polish people like using the same word in a diffirent way to say that something doesnt work!
Yeah, like "komputer nie komputeruje" (computer isn't computering). English speaking people sometimes do something similar by saying "math isn't mathing".
8:07 it's also a refrence to a cult classic movie polish "boys don't cry" where one of the character suggest to another he got his sweater from a flood victim rally It's not an only one reference to this movie in this episode's polish dub
I'm Ukrainian and when I watched the episode in Ukrainian I started laughing when she said "треба покласти хрінь.." bc it means "I need to place the thing.. or just sh1t/
Some notes about the Latin American Spanish version: - Pomni says she cried in the last adventure, in English after describing it to Zooble she ends with "It was bad" but in Spanish she says "Y lloré" ("And I cried"). - The three Gloinks named by the Queen are named Noelia, Pablo and Denisse, a reference to the VAs for Pomni, Jax and Gangle respectively (Noelia Lestani, Pablo Gandolfo, Denisse Leguizamo) - Jax is more direct (and cruel) with Gangle, in the English version he says "I like you better when you're sad" but in Spanish he says "Esa máscara te hace desagradable" ("That mask makes you unpleasant/disgusting"). - There's no mention of Ragatha "huffing paint" or "being drunk", instead Zooble says "Se intoxicó con pintura" ("She got intoxicated with paint", kinda making it sound like it was an accident) and Jax says "Piensa lo que tú quieras" ("Think whatever you want") in response to what she said about not wanting him to hate her, completely removing the mention of alcohol. - In English, Caine says "you went a little kooky" when doing Gangle's performance review but in Spanish he says "Te dio la chiripiorca", the phrase is not really translatable since it's a reference to a recurrent phrase from El Chavo del 8, an iconic 1970s Mexican TV series that's still aired all over Latin America to this day. The phrase means the same thing, basically saying she went crazy.
Poor Zooble! XD Personally I think I prefer that WAY over the "Lets all beat her up" thing cause domestic abuse....is not funny.... and that was the english dub doing that joke. I'd have left it at "Lets turn Zooble to a Pinata" and having Caine go "Nope, not reading the rest of that. None of that here!" But the box of tissues one would be funny. Have Zooble follow it with "oh Blow me!"
I swear if you took out kurwa out of the polish dialect the people would have to get creative, no seriously kurwa is probably the most used polish word and by a long shot bc of how many applications it has XD I like this show but i forgot how to change the languages
You can use it in so many ways that it's unbelievable. Some ways to use the word ku*wa (I'll just replace the word for stars) Wy****iscie (Amazing really well) Wy****ic (Throw out) W****ic (Make someone angry Roz****ic (Idk if that's even translatable) S****ic And there are many more... jeez why are there so many.. also we have many more swears... many... many... more...
Yeah if anything it might hint at things cause I'm very certain Gooseworx is doing this deliberately to kind of tease some ideas and natures of the characters. Like all the references to Ragatha being lonely and wanting someone to like her almost hints that Ragatha DOES have a bit of a crush on Jax and Jax's just playing hard to get. whereas the English just plays it off as Ragatha being "a people pleaser" and just wanting to be liked in general, likely cause Goose knows her english audience would be more likely to take things out of context and she wants any reveal to be "shocking".
@@MarioMastar Well idk about that theory since Gooseworx has already confirmed there will be no relationships like that in the show, everything will be just headcannon at that point
0:44 In The Latin-Spanish Version That NPC Says "Quisiera Pedir Una Hamburgesa Estupida" (I Would Ask For A Stupid Burger) But The Way She Said It Could Of Been Interpreted As "Quisiera Pedir Una Hamburguesa, Estupida" (I Would Ask For A Burger, Stupid) , Like The Client Was Being Rude To Pomni, But In The Very Next Scene She Explained That Its Just The Burger That Makes You Stupid
in german that "Püppies" would come off more as a little sexist/disrespectful to show that he doesn't take her seriously, not as an actual term of endearment
(ENG) 4:53 In the Polish version it is: Tytuś Romuś i Atomuś which is a reference to Pochaters (*characters) from the comic book series Tytus, Romek i A’Tomek. (Good times) (PL) 4:53 W polskiej wersji jest : Tytuś Romuś i Atomuś co Jest nawiązaniem do Bochaterów z Serii komiksów Tytus, Romek i A’Tomek. (Dobre czasy)
5:26 In the Brazilian Portuguese dub they say "I think she sniffed something by accident" and then Gangle answers "Sniffed illicit stuff and didn't wait until break? I'll be right there" lol
Another fun reference in the dutch version is when Caine drops Zooble down the trapdoor he says, "mondje dicht, snaveltje toe!" this is a refrence to the dutch puppet show De Fabeltjeskrant. Were the narrator Mr Uil always ends the episode saying "oogjes dicht, en snaveltjes toe."
in polish "Robisz jakąś zbiórkę dla powodzian?" ( 8:09) is based on the flood in Poland September 13, 2024 - October 16, 2024, Poland's river "Odra" began to swell due to heavy rainfall and flooded Central Europe
Knowing Japans love for Sentai and robots, it sounds so right to have him speak clearly. They really respect robots a lot. I think they have a Gundam statue at a major airport as like a symbol of the country.
8:15 I knew someone would falsely think that. No, Glitch have already said that there will be only 1 season (if it wasn't already obvious by the structure of the plot) and 9 episodes.
I think she would've written Gangle's line better knowing people would interpret it that way. We thought there would only be 2 seasons of Hazbin hotel and now there are 4. We thought the two stories would never converge and yet the show's popularity allowed for Viv to have stronger negotiation terms. No one thinks their show is going to last longer than a season at first, but as it grows in popularity, it becomes a possibility. Plus the format of the show leads to the idea there could be many more adventures, maybe with the old abstracted characters or a new cast. Anything can happen, and it's not like Gooseworx hasn't said one thing one day then did the complete opposite. XD No one expected Jax to be sympathetic this episode, they thought he was going to be manic and sadistic and what's the first thing he does? APOLOGIZE for hitting Gangle.
@MarioMastar Another misinterpretation, for some reason people like you and many others think that Jax is genuinely apologetic at the beginning. Like, no he isn't! He's so obviously just making excuses! You can hear it in his voice! Anyways yeah, Goose is known for taking back certain things she said about the show in the past, but i genuinely cannot imagine how a second season will work with the show's format unless they have a completely new cast of humans like you said, at which point it would just more of a reboot than anything.
Tbh when Jax says „Püppi“ in the german dubs it’s likely not flirting. „Püppi“ is just a slang word that (young) women get called (usually by men). This can be in a friendly way (example: GF, Soos calls Mabel „Püppi“) or in a degrading, more throw-away kind of way. I think the way Jax says it, could best be replaced by „chick“
I'll tell you about one joke in the Russian dubbing. When Gangle When she asks Jax if he wants to be a good worker (this is the moment right after she offers to clean the toilet), Jax says, " i don't care about any if this" In Russian it sounds like "мне как-то фиолетово". It's hard to translate, but I'll try. "I don't really Purple care." Please correct me if you can translate better. I don't speak English very well. 😔
Короче правильнее сказать чтобы англы поняли будет: Jax says, "мне как-то фиолетово," or "I'm purple about it." This phrase is similar to english "I'm blue about it," but instead of blue meaning sad, purple means "I don't care."
also people, just cause a word is more commonly used and kinda accepted not in many places yet, i mean you won t get told about it but you understand, does not change the fact its a curse word, i don t hink a word suddenly loses its curse word statues cause its commonly used
@RmationYT There is an Arabic meme for someone who named his kittens with names like Yaqoub Qamaruddin Demiza, Khalid Kashmiri, Khader Kluita... in the episode when the gloinks queen called her kids she called them demiaza, kashmir and kluita
There are also some more interesting translations in the Hungarian version: When Ragatha is in an Illuminated state and she talks about horseradish, they translated horseradish into "horse-drawn carriage" which kind of has the meaning "the horses reproductive organ" Also has Jack's is leaving the restaurant he got a cuss word added in the hun version: Okay Im leaving, this was some rare shit, see ya all later.
I think it's the clearest out of all of them I also noticed that in the ph version instead of spudsy's they say "happy bee" but I'm not sure if that is mentioned in the video
4:39 here are the three big references i know "i am only a mouth and i cant stop screaming" (idk who made it so idk if it counts) the series taking place in a simulation (obvious) this one (shown right after the timestamp)
5:20 in Tagalog dub I laughed my ass off lol. Before this scene Ragatha told Zooble "lagi syang may toyo" then she repeated "toyo" again because "toyo" has multiple meaning in Tagalog based on context. During their conversation Ragatha means "Grumpy" and after she repeated it again it now means "Soy Sauce" which is a commonly used joke here in Philippines. And during this scene Zooble told Gangle "parang nakasinghot... ata ng pintura o ewan." (This scene totally killed me lol) This scene is a strong reference to Illegal substances because the word "nakasinghot" is used commonly to describe someone who is under the influence of illegal substance. Some sort... Of ....
in tagalog/filipino dub version, you can hear that the restaurant name is different and not spudsy's, it's called "happy bee" where happy bee takes references to jollibee, jollibee is a fast-food restaurant where it takes place in the philippines
5:28 zooble actually says in german: i think she must have had sniffed some paint (ich glaube sie muss an farbe geschnüffelt haben.).but i guess you could also translate it into must be high. korrekt mich wenn ich falsch liege.
ich würd schon sagen das der Satz aus dem englischen 1:1 übernommen wurde. Es impliziert das gleiche was es im englischen impliziert. Wenns als high übersetzt werden sollte dann hätte, meiner Meinung nach, der englische Satz "She must be high or something" lauten müssen. (aber das ist nit-picky geb ich zu)
In polish dub Jax says "Zegar nie zegaruje" (means the clock is not clocking) instead of "Zegar nie działa" (the clock isn't working) Or when there is this scene when Pomni Jax and Ragatha walk into Zoobles room Jax says "robisz jakąś zbiórkę dla powodzian?" Which i can't really translate but somebody from POOOLAND🇵🇱💪 who knows english better than me can explain it :3 a second later after he said this he also said "no cóż Pomni widać nie dostaniesz rogu jednorożca" which means "Pomni you won't get an unicorn horn"
3:40 its a small nitpick but "öldüresiye dövmek" in turkish doesnt exactly mean to be beaten to death. It means to be beaten "as if you want to kill them" or "almost to death" also 3:55. Being covered in sweat and blood is actually a common saying for being extreemely tired over here. If anything the part about the tears is the extra added by Caine for exxagation. Actually I dont know if it is intentional but in that sentence he pronounced "Spudsi" as "patso". Patso is a street food in turkey that is a sandwich filled with french fries and chopped hotdogs (I know, not our cuisine's finest) I think it is intentional because we dont really swallow up foreign words like that in the turkish pronounciation.
Hi there, as a francophone ( french mothertongue ) i'd like to clarify 2 points : 1-Jax saying "poupée" ( doll) isn't signifying closeness... Almost the opposite. 2. The Tchernobyl reference in the bathroom is a 100% some expression we locally use in my country when there was something disgusting that happened in the bathroom. So that is a great job of localisation. One point i'd like to point as a weird traduction in french: the horseradish wordplay still talks about horse in french... But there are no wordplay at all here. It is when i saw it in english that i realised that it was a pun. In french it just felt like the only time she was random. So if they left a horse reference, could it mean a reference to a real horse in future episodes???
I the polish version, when zooble gives gangle a new mask. Jax says “ are you giving away stuff to the flood survivors?” It’s because there was a massive flood in Poland.
In Polish version Jax says Sanepid should check out the bathroom. It's a government organisation meant to inspect hygiene in restaurants and close them if they fail to meet standards
Falls in line, he says something like "getting an agency to handle that" in english too. That's really nice touch!
Most except the Polish dub of the episode 3 ending. Absolute peak brainrot
In Polish dubbing the names of the orbs are "Tytuś, Romuś, Atomuś". That's a refrence to an old Polish comic book named "Tytus, Romek i Atomek" about two boys and a monkey.

1:41 polish word "like" doesn't necessarily need to have flirting/couple strings attached so it is more like 50/50 on what those that mean
It's more commonly used to show that you just like someone or something about them but not in a romantic way,
8:08 "pomoc dla powodzian" has its origins in an even greater flood from 1997. After this the term became very popular and normal and you can use it every time when you want to make fun of for example collecting money for a high goal.

my favorite thing about polish dubbing is that some voice actors and translators are actual youtubers, not really popular ones but they are and they say jokes like that all the time
Word "zajebiście" is curently loosing it's status as a swear word, over the years it's getting less and less used as a swear word and it's used like more harsher sounding "awesome" and more people accept it and use it on daily basis, so more accurate translation should be "freaking awesome" (sorry for bad spelling)

Gangle ZEGAR NIE ZEGARUJEEE.
I love the Polish dub. It's rare for me to enjoy them, but the amount of cultural details to make It funnier was on spot.

1:36 "i hate you but i dont want you to hate me" and "I dont like you but i want you to like me" it makes almost no difference

yup
@@GLEGGGyou're making the same mistake as the creator
Forgetting that not every word in every language works the same way
"Lubię cię" In polish though being the direct translation to "i like you" Doesn't have the same vibe as in english and mostly just means having positive opinion on someone
"Hate" Though mostly translated as "nienawidzieć" Is actually somewhere in between "lubić" And "nienawidzieć" With the latter being just too harsh for that exchange of words (it literally means you don't want to ever see something)
So in conclusion:
1. "I don't like you but I want you to like me" Goes just smoother cuz don't forget it's meant to match the mouth movement
2. Ironically it conveys the meaning better than literal translation would
And in polish it would not be grammatical correct to say not hate I think
@waszyoutuber6613 Ragatha could have said "Nienawidzę cię, ale nie chcę żebyś ty mnie nienawidził", which is gramatically correct, but it would be more difficult to pronounce than what she ended up saying and it would mean a more visceral hate than in English as mentioned above
Negating things is actually very easy in Polish. You just add the right prefix to most things
For example:
"Widziałam kogoś" = "I saw someone"
"Nie widziałam nikogo" = "I didn't see anyone"
Interestingly, you often end up negating things twice in order to get the same meaning
"Nie ma tu nikogo" = "There's no one here" ("nikogo" is "no one", but "nie ma tu" means "there isn't here" - in this case in Polish you have to negate twice in order to be grammatically correct, while doing that in English would result in a weird sentence)

In original Jax said to Ragatha that she is drunk, in Polish dub he said to her she is high.

The dub was made at Likan Studios from Uruguay, with actors from Mexico (Mexico City and Cuernavaca), Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Panama and Peru.
@@YouHaveBeenRui_ned I'm from Spain and I don't think so. Spain dubs and LatAm dubs are different and are almost never mixed up between regions nowadays.

Como los doblajes normalmente tienen 2 versiones, cada una para Latam y España respectivamente, los doblajes se diferencian.
Pero aquí hay una sola versión que mescla a las 2, por lo que no hay "doblaje latino" y "doblaje castellano" sino solo el "doblaje al español", y el español como idioma es representado con la bandera de españa
( Me parece mal que hayan tomado la decisión de dejar el doblaje latino como "doblaje al español" en vez de hacer doblajes diferenciados, debe ser chocante para los españoles )

4:33 I’m German and a huge murder drones fan so how did I miss that 😭😭
1:43 i have a feeling that it's because the word for hate in polish is too long and it would sound off
Some notes about the Latin American Spanish version:
- Pomni says she cried in the last adventure, in English after describing it to Zooble she ends with "It was bad" but in Spanish she says "Y lloré" ("And I cried").
- The three Gloinks named by the Queen are named Noelia, Pablo and Denisse, a reference to the VAs for Pomni, Jax and Gangle respectively (Noelia Lestani, Pablo Gandolfo, Denisse Leguizamo)
- Jax is more direct (and cruel) with Gangle, in the English version he says "I like you better when you're sad" but in Spanish he says "Esa máscara te hace desagradable" ("That mask makes you unpleasant/disgusting").
3:33 The Vietnamese dub in this part is: How about an adventure that Zooble turns into a box of tissue, and then we all take turn to interact with him
Poor Zooble!

I find it interesting the alterations they make to this show in dubbing that actually adds a lot more to the show
Yeah if anything it might hint at things cause I'm very certain Gooseworx is doing this deliberately to kind of tease some ideas and natures of the characters.

3:39 TURKEY MENTIONED RAAAAAAHHHH 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
4:52 in polish they are Tytus Romus and atomus which is reference to an old comic with the same name about two boys and a monkey
0:50 man they put tiktok in a bottle
In the german Version, gummigo didnt talk him out of the 18+ Toy Idea, but tells him he is at the wrong Location for that
I'm worried about the fact that more and more often I see Poland, the country where I live, on the channels of foreign youtubers... :)
in polish "Robisz jakąś zbiórkę dla powodzian?" ( 8:09) is based on the flood in Poland September 13, 2024 - October 16, 2024, Poland's river "Odra" began to swell due to heavy rainfall and flooded Central Europe
7:21 that’s right it is me orbsman.
Can I order the classic 57 value meal?
Knowing Japans love for Sentai and robots, it sounds so right to have him speak clearly. They really respect robots a lot. I think they have a Gundam statue at a major airport as like a symbol of the country.
@@MarioMastar yeah they do. I’d really like to see it one day
8:15 I knew someone would falsely think that.
Exactly, it is meant as him mocking her with that nickname :)
8:01 Recently, many people in Silesia were flooded and many people make fun of it
youtube channels whenever a new tadc episode comes out:
"what is wrong with the international dubs?"
Короче правильнее сказать чтобы англы поняли будет:
Jax says, "мне как-то фиолетово," or "I'm purple about it." This phrase is similar to english "I'm blue about it," but instead of blue meaning sad, purple means "I don't care."
@tamicatt спасибо что поправил. Я только учу английский :)
In spanish the names of the gloinks are the names of the voice actors of Pomni, Jax, and gangle (the voice actors of spanish dub)
I love my country (Poland)
Me too :D
Niech Mlekołaki będą z Tobą ;)
i love that polish dubs can do whatever they want
also people, just cause a word is more commonly used and kinda accepted not in many places yet, i mean you won t get told about it but you understand, does not change the fact its a curse word, i don t hink a word suddenly loses its curse word statues cause its commonly used
4:59 the Arabic dub they referenced to an Arabic meme for a guy naming his cats Arabic names
Explain please
@RmationYT There is an Arabic meme for someone who named his kittens with names like Yaqoub Qamaruddin Demiza, Khalid Kashmiri, Khader Kluita... in the episode when the gloinks queen called her kids she called them demiaza, kashmir and kluita
@ link to that video??
@RmationYT th-cam.com/video/O08XTXJSOtI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PJFCwTMl0NrPDx2A
There are also some more interesting translations in the Hungarian version:
When Ragatha is in an Illuminated state and she talks about horseradish,
they translated horseradish into "horse-drawn carriage" which kind of has the meaning "the horses reproductive organ"
Also has Jack's is leaving the restaurant he got a cuss word added in the hun version:
Okay Im leaving, this was some rare shit, see ya all later.
It has been confirmed that the creators are only doing one season
7:27 in this scene if you put the Philippines dub, you can hear it more clearly than the Japanese version
I think it's the clearest out of all of them I also noticed that in the ph version instead of spudsy's they say "happy bee" but I'm not sure if that is mentioned in the video
Probably there will be a part 2
5:32 in the brazillian version zooble says ragatha sniffed something accidentally
In polish the word "ZAJEBISTY" isn't f-ing it is softer there isn't a good translation to english😢
It roughly means "awesome"
@@thepoleontheroad No. It's "f#cking awesome"
@@Space0fox Yeah, but it's not considered a swear word as much as before, so I was trying to convey that in my translation
@@thepoleontheroad Awesome = wspaniały
F#cking awesome: Zajebisty
Sometimes people say it's a swear but compared to our other swears hah nope
Lol yeah this was cool keep it up man love ur content , This was cool and neat.
4:39 here are the three big references i know
"i am only a mouth
and i cant stop screaming" (idk who made it so idk if it counts)
the series taking place in a simulation (obvious)
this one (shown right after the timestamp)
4:16 Bro WHAT How dare you threaten Gamble Like that😡😡
5:20 in Tagalog dub I laughed my ass off lol.
Of ....
In Tagalog would it be considered weird to say "honey soy sauce!" when you're surprised?
I was waiting for this video!
in tagalog/filipino dub version, you can hear that the restaurant name is different and not spudsy's, it's called "happy bee" where happy bee takes references to jollibee, jollibee is a fast-food restaurant where it takes place in the philippines
In polish dub Jax says "Zegar nie zegaruje" (means the clock is not clocking) instead of "Zegar nie działa" (the clock isn't working)
Or when there is this scene when Pomni Jax and Ragatha walk into Zoobles room Jax says "robisz jakąś zbiórkę dla powodzian?" Which i can't really translate but somebody from POOOLAND🇵🇱💪 who knows english better than me can explain it :3 a second later after he said this he also said "no cóż Pomni widać nie dostaniesz rogu jednorożca" which means "Pomni you won't get an unicorn horn"
correct me if im wrong but isn't the horn one somwhat frequently used? i coudl swear i heard it in witcher and maybe something else
3:40 its a small nitpick but "öldüresiye dövmek" in turkish doesnt exactly mean to be beaten to death. It means to be beaten "as if you want to kill them" or "almost to death"
also 3:55.
"robisz zbiórkę dla powodzian?" ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED ME
"Breinrot burger" die is f*cking goud
International digital circus became an adult show
Hi there, as a francophone ( french mothertongue ) i'd like to clarify 2 points :
1-Jax saying "poupée" ( doll) isn't signifying closeness...
5:28 I am German and zooble was saying the exact same thing that she said in english
I the polish version, when zooble gives gangle a new mask. Jax says “ are you giving away stuff to the flood survivors?” It’s because there was a massive flood in Poland.
