I remember when this played in the tutorial videos that Nintendo made 6 years ago for those people who were confused on how to use the Joy-Con wrist straps.

No, they shouldn’t have because prototypes are always better than the official version
I know, it sounds modern and new without sounding too much different than the old ones like if a completely different company made it. It would have been so perfect but unfortunately Nintendo made yet another bad decision.
@@Triple8Bit I dont know a lot about coding, but doesnt lag heavily rely on visuals and stuff? I feel like if anything is causing lag in a piece of software the music in it would probably be the last thig I would suspect.
I don’t think it’s too late to add music. Next time they do maintenance on the Nintendo Switch eShop they could add the theme song.

I agree. They probably didn't add music to reduce lag, but they also could've optimized the eShop to be less laggy. The eShop is basically a web page as far as I can tell. They should have just made a native app so you could have better performance and music.

This makes me think that the Eshop was unfinished on switch (hence switch online taking until September 2018 to release)
That would have already made the E-shop 100 times better

Judging from the state of the Eshop, I'd say if there was background music, Nintendo Switches would be exploding left and right.

It’s just the fact that once you’re in it’s the single slowest experience I’ve had with the Switch, and yet I’ve played the most demanding games the Switch even has. It bothers me that the EShop is where it has had the most stutters and lag.
What are your switches like. Mine opens pretty fast and runs great
@@bazdog4464 if your switch has no problems on the eshop then you're actually a rare case. A majority of people seem to experience lag and delay on the EShop and the Nintendo Online Menus of their switch for some reason. Happens to me too but it runs all games fine, so I couldn't tell you why it's like that beyond being poorly optimised by Nintendo.
The sad thing is that youre probably right omg… i got my switch brand new like 6 months ago and i was very shocked by how laggy and slow the eshop was

This would’ve been the best thing ever. The first 3DS eshop theme was beautiful, an absolute masterpiece. Every time i listen to it nostalgia just hits extremely hard

Nintendo never added music for performance reasons.
im kinda sad that they didnt add this, but im also a little glad, because when the switch eshop eventually closes, this song is going to just bring flashbacks of so many amazing games that the switch has and im sure a lot of people are gonna cry lol

The Switch eShop was never planned to nor had any music at all. This is music that played in the background of one of Nintendo's promotional videos. Please do not spread false information.

There was music in pretty much every part of the 3DS's menu/system UI; not just the eShop.
But the music in the eShop on 3DS would change occasionally to various tracks from different Nintendo games.
Same with the WiiU (and the eshop theme always matched between the two systems!)
I still have my 3ds and can still access the eshop, but I never heard the music change. Was it based around sales, or just seasonal music?
So what i’m hearing is that some of the switch menu’s were rushed and thus we barely got anything let alone personality

They didn’t add this because they whould have needed to add audio functionality to the hidden browser that eshop runs on. They don’t want people using the hidden browser so they removed audio functionality to limit them.

Idk if anyone else has played this but way back when on PC there was this game called wonderland online that was an mmorpg. It holds a place in my heart as one of the first games I’ve ever played. It was very high quality too but that’s besides the point. When I heard the first second of this song it immediately reminded me of South island from wonderland online. Brought me a strange flash of nostalgia before I realized it was something else.
This is absolutely outrageous, the music for that stuff is crazy important to us. I mean look at MII channel music for the WII! I would’ve loved this song for the switch and it prolly would’ve stuck with us for years afterward

I Hear That Sound From The Parental Controls Setting Up Video. I Have No Idea That Sound Was Sad To Listen.
Thing is, it ISN'T/WASN'T in the files, either that or it's in a VERY specific switch version.
You can find the very same tune in a couple joycon grip tutorials on Nintendo's TH-cam channel.

Nintendo has always been so good with eshop and menu musics. I still remember a bunch of old menu musics from the Nintendo DSI. It’s super nostalgic now. Sad that the switch has dropped all that music
