- This is Halo 3: Combat Evolved's BIGGEST update yet! This update adds The Truth & Reconciliation campain mission, Danger Canyon and Chasm 34 multiplayer maps and the Hangar A-2 firefight map, a WHOLE lot of fixes and polish and takes advantage of MCC's latest update which lets modders enable the motion sensor and create Multiplayer maps for ODST (which Halo 3: Combat Evolved is now running on).

This is closer to a remake than a remaster
The adherence to a single game's artstyle makes Halo 3: CE look so much cleaner than the official anniversary remake.
CE physics and gameplay is so much better than h3 imo 😬

My favorite bit from this quick look is that Chasm 34 actually looks much more distinct in each area than in the original, which is SUCH a welcomed change.

The move to ODST was worth it for Engineers
Genuinely my favorite mod ever made even in its unfinished state. As a lifelong Halo fan this mod breathes so much life into not only Halo 3 but Halo in general for me. I’m very grateful for that.

That looks great! I sure hope that you were able to fix the Halo 3 Elite’s bad ai and made them into as big of a threat as they were in CE. Maybe you could try kitbashing some of the models to make stuff that closer resembles CE. This mod has definitely come a long way. Plus, now we won’t have to go elsewhere to get the sounds working. Hopefully this and whatever other projects you do work out well.
Along with the AI, I in general prefer the look of the elites in 1 and 2. They're more slender, take large strides and since they're slihouette is stronger visually with their "weight loss" their posing for their expressive animations are clearer. Halo 3 they start to get their chunky look which is furthered in future titles.
If nothing else I hope she makes them faster and shoot more. Ideally if they were able to press more aggressively. But I have no concept of how difficult messing with those balances are.
I also think the idea of mixing in more brutes with the elites too will also help with providing a good enemy balance for the player

The Chief looks AMAZING! You did a better job than the real devs recreating the MK V armour, it he looks so big and bulky but in proportion still, awesome job!
This version was made by Marcus Lehto, the creator of Masterchief and the Mark V armor. I just put it in game :)

i can totally see a universe where Danger Canyon shipped with Halo 3 in 2007, Chasm 34 was part of the Mythic Map Pack, Hangar A-2 shipped with ODST, and CE Anniversary campaign looked exactly like yours.
I am always blown away by your skills and seeing your updates makes me super excited to see what you'll be working on next!

Just letting you know in case you didn't see, in the cutscene where Master Chief saves Keyes, the hand's wrist does not attach to the arm when he holds the gun up on his shoulder. It's not a big problem at all and it's hard to notice. This work is so incredible, thank you for something so special

Looks incredible! Keep up the great work. You have a good eye. Very keen for the whole campaign to be completed. The MP maps should be added officially into H3. Please do an H3 Battle Creek.
This looks absolutely fantastic and the work that has been put into this has been tremendous! I apologize if I'm behind on this and it's already a known feature or something you plan on implementing, but will there be an option to switch between different skins/assets? I remember at one point in development you had the CE models for the weapons and some of the Elites if I remember correctly, as well as the classic Truth and Reconciliation doors. It would be a nice addition to be able to switch between them if possible! I'd really prefer playing with the OG Halo 3 look for the grunts, instead of the Reach (or H2:A?) design.
What Halo Anniversary should have been
CE is my second favorite Halo game and I'm s glad to see this mod make progress. The actual remaster just doesn't work for me lol.

You know Kashiiera how about like for the Firefight portion of your mod, you could possibly use the Halo 2 Anniversary Brute models and animations cause they do kinda much up with the lore a bit and would be a unique experience fighting Halo 2 Brutes instead of the Halo 3 Brutes
Glad to see the radar reimplemented. Still a ton of problems with this mod, but that was one of the biggest so it's good to see it fixed
