We need our own custom spartans in co-op
@Maydeler No, they just won't add it at all. As cool as it may be, it doesn't really make any sense, the mp Spartans'd be shorter anyway
No fucking default and gray or any color spartans

Worst game breaking thing i found is that you can only have 5 ai follow you around. And only the host. All other players are invisible to friendly ai. So no loading ip warthogs with marines for a convoy

I hope that they'll up the amount of marines you can have when playing coop with them increasing by 5 for each player in the game. Having 20 marines with four players coming with you for a base attack or mission would be epic!
It would make too much sense and would be way too cool to have this. No way in hell 343 would let us have this much fun, keep dreaming or wait for mods my friend. Also look up the movie battles 2 multiplayer mod for starwars jedi academy!

I've been a fan of Halo since Sept 2001. Nowadays, if you want something cool or think it would benefit the series, it won't come.
keep in mind that everything they add has to be able to run on the Original Xbox One, also marines are OP in this game with power weapons, (you can literally sit in a razorback and do nothing while they kill everything in a 50-100 meter radius on legendary) Now imagine 4 master chiefs doing this. Balancing and hardware are going to be huge limitations on that dream of yours unfortunately.
I mean I like it so far but the only thing I don't like about it is that there's no player collision with each other. Kinda useless because of the grapple but still. That's really my only pet peeve about it

The thumbnail is pretty grainy but the it makes Infinite look like a truly next gen game, the lighting looks incredible in that picture

Co-op has been in every Halo game since Bungie owned the IP. If they can do it with the limited technology back in the Golden days of gaming. Then 343 has no excuse for this.
343i are just flat-out lazy and incompetent. Even Marathon 2 had co-op.
The problem is that rendering is so much easier back then. Now you have to be mindful of console players and PC players. Graphics and CPU limits are being outpaced by increased file sizes and hardware limitations. Hardware limitations are more a problem now than it was 10-20 years ago. Imagine having to render one low quality for one camera. Easy right? Now do it twice. Then do it 2 more times. The single pc or console you have will have to render the same scene 4 different times.
@@klutzspecter3470 Hardware limitations are not more of an issue now than they were, just look at Morrowind on the Xbox ffs. And increased files sizes are purely a result of lazy/incompetent developers, shouldn't be an issue either due to the massive growth in the size of storage devices. Consoles 20 years ago only had 8Gb of storage, if that.

Well you have to imagine that it would be harder to make a co-op with an open world campaign. Though I will admit that it took them way too long to get this out

a really important feature for the more campaign focused players to special category of weekly challenges to upgrade the battle pass, something similar to MCC challenges
Reach did something similar, beat a mission on co op laso and youd get a huge amount of credits and xp,
Kinda expected to play as your multi-player Spartan instead of Master chief clone number 73421, but nothing mods can't fix

The Co-Op is worth it from what I've seen but them being so late is annoying.

@@richardwainwright507 yeah I thought forge was being released last January, but it’s not even out now. Infinite is done just like halo 5
It isn’t even out yet, it won’t be for a while. This is a closed beta, for play testers a.k.a TH-camrs. Don’t even get me started on Forge, completely fucking radio silent. What an awful PR team, they all need to be fired.
@DeskSlam not the PR team, the higher ups at 343i need to know that Halo Finite has a severe lack of content right now so they can get all hands on deck for actual gamemodes instead of cosmetics. They're wasting too much time on armor that nobody buys anyways. I think they should just get a cycle of all of their content, including the 'vaulted' Season 1 shop items, and then stop making new cosmetics. The modeling team needs to start working on things for forge to complete it soon or else Halo Finite will die out.
All of my closest friends haven't played Halo Infinite campaign yet, as we wanted they wanted to play Co-Op.
They are happy now, but not excited. Can't blame them, it should have been in there from the start.

I love coop in any game mainly cause anything is more fun with the right friends but I kinda wish we were out of the master chief cloning days lol I loved how reach, 3, and 5 did the coop with the coop partners being their own character or the arbiter or other spartans just kinda adds more of a emphasis to the coop partner if that makes sense.
I found that restarting the mission with a friend allowed them to get the tank weapon too
While co-op is good, I miss splitscreen as my dad and I would always play the campaign together and do stupid stuff... I don't understand why 343 didn't implement splitscreen. It has always been a huge part of the games...

Well multiplayer has split screen, and a glitch allows people to play split screen campaign pretty smoothly, so I would assume so
Limited area for clients in OPEN WORLD GAME, only one vehicle could be used and just by host. Thats Half CO-OP

I want to play coop... but my friend can't sign up for the beta. He has no option to in the insider hub. If 343 had made it accessible to everybody they probably would've got more people playing. like me

for me and my friends this is nostalgic, we are having a BLAST online co-op legendary trying to collect as many skulls as possible!
I haven't even played Infinite because of there being no splitscreen coop campaign and I bought the game on day one.
Having just played through MCC in coop with a friend, we just have to work out how to coop 5 and we are ready to start Infinite.

i'll save you 6.5 minutes: no. u can only go so far from each other like in ark so if you're trying to get anything done like connecting skull, you have to be going for the same one at all times. what's co op if you can't work together to get things done

On the topic of the fireteam tether, are you sure you were going to the limits? In my personal experience, you can go quite a distance, and there's no vertical limit
In terms of MP Spartans, we all know that 343 will prioritise story continuity, which will mean no MP Spartans in campaign for a very long time, if ever
The MP Spartan Biped is shorter than master chief so it wouldnt be that simple
So the main argument for co-op from most is "it took too long?" some people are so sad.
As to your arguments, I can agree with only being able to join the person furthest back, it does prevent spoilers at the very least, and you CAN bring weapons from other saves... so it's not that big of a deal. That and I don't think the kill barrier is a big deal, it is a fair distance and for most people, and since you don't lose weapons on death it's not that big of a deal if you die instead of teleporting.
I just want to get myself an xbox so that I can actually play MCC and this game, cause I'm still on 360.
Imagine making excuses for absolutely lazy and poor design by the game developers. It is a big deal, they sold a half assed game, for the same price as every other Halo game, no co-op no forge, it's pathetic. And so are people like you for excusing it

In Bungie games we had co-op from launch. They didn't need extra years and years of delays to develop it, 343i are just lazy and incompetent.

It’s a bit different when you have an open world. It does take a lot of resources due to the headache of syncing everyone’s open world with each other and all that

4:57 why does master chief look particularly good in this scene? Seems like the game should have looked more like this part of the game. I wonder if the overworld shaders were too much for the system to handle.
Yeah, I think the overworld shaders need a little work. Chief looks much better in cutscenes, especially underground, than in the overworld. Hopefully there'll be campaign updates to improve the visuals a bit (or hell, if campaign updates become a continuous thing they could even go in for dynamic weather if it isn't too much work)

The only problem I have is how far you can actually go otherwise I love it besides the friendly fire with the tank gun.
The other halos also did the This by teleporting the others to player one. Or with halo one teleporting anyone to the play that walked through a checkpoint spot.

It’s quite different due to the open world. Way more complex than linear levels that only loaded portions at a time

@@muwuny Not really. not to the level you're probably assuming, either way doesn't matter, I'm almost certain it's due to the xbox1 and it's limits... them not wanting to make two different setups for the same thing. it's old hardware is probably holding it all back with the limitations on range you can go.
At least we could always mod in alternate models for your coop partners, right?

Just remember that coop is usually included when a game is released and it is often a feature that is barely talked about during reviews so coop shouldn't be such a good feature if it was added later. 343i really managed to get people to like a feature more by not adding it at the start.
They sell you half a game then keep you interested by actually finishing it

I don't understand why they'd need to limit players to the area the host is in. Of course I don't understand how it's built, but one would be inclined to think "four players, running 4 machines, it doesn't seem impossible to have each player in separate map regions." You're right, I hope they fix that.

LASO just got easy. Get a friend to collect the tank cannon on easy difficult alone, you then host LASO, since you're behind your game will start and not your friends and now your friend can carry you through the first BOSS until you can get your own cannon
