Just figured out how to get the mod launcher to launch both seamless and a randomizer. Seamless: Do everything the video says, but make sure to copy the contents of the Seamless Coop file (the esrc.dll, settings, and locale file) and paste them inside the "ModEngine2" folder you created earlier. Next, open the elden ring config tolm file and locate the section where it ask you to type out any external dlls you'll be using. in that section, add "ersc.dll". it should look like this: external_dlls - ["ersc.dll"] this is what i did and after launching elden ring through the mod launcher it loaded seamless coop successfully. For Randomizer + Coop: I simply copied and pasted the contents of the "randomizer" folder into the "mod" folder located inside the "ModEngine2" folder we created earlier. *MAKE SURE TO COPY AND PASTE ALL FILES* after this, randomize your seed and if done correctly when you launch your elden ring through mod loader it should have both seamless and randomizer active. if that doesn't work, i'll double check what i did later and add an update.
didnt get this to work, but found a reddit where i followed the advice and got it to work: you go intop the same elden ring config tolm and in external dlls whrite the path to the ersc.dll in your gasme folder, so: "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\ELDEN RING\\Game\\SeamlessCoop\\ersc.dll" this is what worked for me, hope it helps. if you do this, mod loader is not required at all, and it even worked with me using vortex to deploy seamless, just make sure its deployed when u launch elden ring trought the mod loader launcher. also you dont need to put any seamless files in modloader2 mod folder.

If Mod Engine isn't loading Seamless Co-op go to mod engine config, there's a dll section that let's you add and load dlls. Install seamless co-op as intended and add the dll with dll's path. If it's not working, varify integrity files from steam, make a back up of your mods and at first only install Seamless Co-op. Then install other mods. DEN Maps is now updated. You can just use Denmaps instead.
@@africanchild5932 In your Mod Engine folder there's a configuration file with ".tmol" (or something similar) . Open it with notepad, there's a section called add external dlls. There's a text that tells you exactly how to add dlls but basically you want to write down the location of a dll. Putting Seamless co-op files in Mod loader used to work but now for some reason you have to mamually tell Modengine.
Step 1 - Ensure SeamlessCoop folder and ersc_launcher.exe are in your ELDEN RING\Game folder. Step 2 - Navigate to your ModEngine-2.1.0.0-win64 folder and find the config_eldenring.toml file and open with your text editor. Step 3 - Find the line external_dlls and copy and paste this line - [ "D:\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\ELDEN RING\\Game\\SeamlessCoop\\ersc.dll" ] (might be different depending on which drive you have your Elden Ring installed) **Make sure there are 2 backslashes between each folder destination! Step 4 - If done correctly the line should be - external_dlls = [ "D:\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\ELDEN RING\\Game\\SeamlessCoop\\ersc.dll" ] Step 5 - Save the text file and launch the game using launchmod_eldenring.bat in your ModEngine-2.1.0.0-win64 folder
I followed this tutorial as well and the discord for seamless isn't updated due to traffic. I cannot get seamless to work with mod engine 2 either. Although, Elden Mod Loader's log file shows that it is initiating ersc.dll, but when loading into the game, it does not load into seamless coop.
I did as well all the steps and followed every detail in this video, but it did not work. Got the "Inappropriate.." -message when launching. Then I copied the folder seamlesscoop folder with it's content to the mod -folder, in modengine2 folder and edited the config_eldenring.toml to have that external_dlls = ["mod\\SeamlessCoop\\ersc.dll"] That worked Seamless loaded, but then it did not load other mods :)
we couldn't get the randomizer to work with seamless until we tried this the seamless coop files that you add to the mod folder in the base game folder, add them to the 'modengine2' folder (aswell as the base 'mods' folder from the video) and also add "ersc.dll" to the external dll part of the elden ring config .toml file in 'modengine2' folder. this worked for us :)
the co-op mods no longer works - about 2 months ago, steam updated something and that shut the lobby side of it down? it's strange because you can still invade people using the mod but the co-op is down with no clear indication anything will be fixed. sad times.
"Install mod with many files and folders" is not very well explained at all.. where and what are we supposed to rename? I found a folder with a ton of dcx files... Must I copy and rename every single one? and then have double the files. One with an l and the un-remaned ones?
When I drag Mod Engine 2 stuff into the folder and run the launchmod.bat, it opens up a window for a split second like you but then Elden Ring doesn't launch. Any tips?
Completely shut down steam, in task manager too and reopen again. Also sometimes Elden Ring runs in task manager even when it's not running the game. Make sure that's not the case.

Oddly enough even following this step by step it still won't load seamless coop with launchmod_eldenring and seamless cook's launcher doesn't launch with other mods
@nubcuk I fixed it. Ended up having to also put the seamless coop settings and dll file into the modengine2. I also added the ersc.dll file to the config_eldenring.toml and it workd fine idk if I needed to do the toml part but did just in case
So all I can say is I followed all of his steps then added the seamless coop settings and dll file into modengine2 after that I opened config_eldenring.toml and added ersc.dll and in the area where you see external_dlls = [ ] I made it external_dll = ["ersc.dll"]
everything is working aside from when i launch the bat file it will not launch online and will not allow me to login. It continues to say that there is connection issues even though there isnt.

I did everything he said, but when I launch the game in launchmod_eldenring, my save files are missing, but when I launch ersc_launch, my save files are there but no mods. How do I fix this?

So ultrawide fixes.dll has to be in the elden ring/games/mods folder? But the auther says to just put the "menu" folder extracted from the zip into elden ring/games/ModEngine2/mod folder? If anyone have problem that ersc.dll doesn't load, place ersc.dll, ersc_seettings.ini and locales into modengine2 folder where u have launcher for mods and open config_eldenring.toml with notepad++ or any text editor, then in external_dlls type next - "ersc.dll", only this worked for me, hope this will help someone with same problem
I'm trying to install this and a modengine2 loader mod. I'm doing all the steps and the mod engine mod does load, as well as the title screen of the game does have the pop up that seamless is working but when I create a character, and I start the game, I don't have the seamless mod items to control multiplayer (join/leave worlds, etc). is there a fix to that?
did the seamless co-op did the Elden mod loader created the ModEngine2 file copied everything i needed did the password followed everything exactly right and then at 3:50 I launch it like he says to generate required files the game loads up because I can see that my mouse cursor has changed to the Elden ring cursor but its a black screen and then 2 seconds later it just closes the game and it wont load up. you dont load the game from steam you just need to have steam opened and logged in. for the save you have to type %AppData%/EldenRing in the File Explorer then find the file that has random number and find the file .sl2 and copy it and rename it .co2 then you should have all your saves.

Me and my friend simply downloaded the latest seamless patch. Set the same pass word. And use tiny pot then effigy of Malenia then it shows us “ no session found” not sure what to do

Maybe useful note: Put the path with the ersc .dll with double slashes "\\" E.G "E:\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\ELDEN RING\\Game\\SeamlessCoop\\ersc.dll" nearly one to one like on the video. This doesn't work: "E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game\SeamlessCoop\ersc.dll". This is apparently because a double "\\" is interpreted as a single "\" whereas the single is not, if not then idk.

Some helpful tips if you already have/had seamless and mods : Tip 1 = Delete old seamless coop "seamlesscoopsettings" and "eldin_ring_seamless_coop.dll" from Eldin game files, mod folder in Eldin game files; basically anywhere else they may be (these resulting in error 1.5.1) \ Tip 2 = You need to fix external_dlls in "config_eldinring.toml" , ex. external_dlls = ["E:\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\ELDEN RING\\Game\\SeamlessCoop\\ersc.dll"] . That allowed me to load via "launchmod_eldinring" with seamless and mods. Otherwise I was just able to load with seamless. I also put "ersc_settings" and "Erse.dll" in modengine2 folder (though idk if that actually did anything I never had them there in the OG seamless and it work.
@@kaithefox3515 In external dlls section put the exact path of the dll. Make sure it's done correctly. above external dlls there's a text explaining how it's done. It should 100000% work. That's one of the only methods working.

The issue that fixed it for me was making sure I had the right version of mod engine; I had 2.0, not 2.1
where'd you get 2.1?

MAKE SURE IN "config_eldenring.toml" in the external dlls portion you INCLUDE QUOTATIONS when youre adding ersc.dll path! it works for me now!

If anyone have problem that ersc.dll doesn't load, place ersc.dll, ersc_seettings.ini and locales into modengine2 folder where u have launcher for mods and open config_eldenring.toml with notepad++ or any text editor, then in external_dlls type next - "ersc.dll", only this worked for me, hope this will help someone with same problem

I'm trying to install this and a modengine2 loader mod. I'm doing all the steps and the mod engine mod does load, as well as the title screen of the game does have the pop up that seamless is working but when I create a character, and I start the game, I don't have the seamless mod items to control multiplayer (join/leave worlds, etc). is there a fix to that?

did the seamless co-op did the Elden mod loader created the ModEngine2 file copied everything i needed did the password followed everything exactly right and then at 3:50 I launch it like he says to generate required files the game loads up because I can see that my mouse cursor has changed to the Elden ring cursor but its a black screen and then 2 seconds later it just closes the game and it wont load up. How do I fix this?

Elden Ring Mod Loader is not needed. Mod Engine 2 has been able to run DLLs for a while now.
After Ensha invadedand I killed him, I returned to the round table, and he was still there. Then I teleported to the round table again and every npc disappeared. The game got stuck. I couldn't go anywhere and couldn't turn off the game. Does anyone have a solution?

you dont load the game from steam you just need to have steam opened and logged in. for the save you have to type %AppData%/EldenRing in the File Explorer then find the file that has random number and find the file .sl2 and copy it and rename it .co2 then you should have all your saves.

Me and my friend simply downloaded the latest seamless patch. Set the same pass word. And use tiny pot then effigy of Malenia then it shows us “ no session found” not sure what to do

I made the "-" sign into a "=" sign and it worked
I did everything just as described, but when I start the bat file it start elden ring without seamless coop.... any idea what I am doing wrong? :/

Maybe useful note: Put the path with the ersc .dll with double slashes "\\" E.G "E:\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\ELDEN RING\\Game\\SeamlessCoop\\ersc.dll" nearly one to one like on the video.
This doesn't work: "E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game\SeamlessCoop\ersc.dll".
This is apparently because a double "\\" is interpreted as a single "\" whereas the single is not, if not then idk.

Some helpful tips if you already have/had seamless and mods : Tip 1 = Delete old seamless coop "seamlesscoopsettings" and "eldin_ring_seamless_coop.dll" from Eldin game files, mod folder in Eldin game files; basically anywhere else they may be (these resulting in error 1.5.1) \ Tip 2 = You need to fix external_dlls in "config_eldinring.toml" , ex. external_dlls = ["E:\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\ELDEN RING\\Game\\SeamlessCoop\\ersc.dll"] . That allowed me to load via "launchmod_eldinring" with seamless and mods. Otherwise I was just able to load with seamless. I also put "ersc_settings" and "Erse.dll" in modengine2 folder (though idk if that actually did anything I never had them there in the OG seamless and it work.

@@kaithefox3515 In external dlls section put the exact path of the dll. Make sure it's done correctly. above external dlls there's a text explaining how it's done. It should 100000% work. That's one of the only methods working.
