Went for the weekend in 2015 and scaled some proper hills. Lovely place....good couple of hours away from us though so not so easy to do it as a day trip. We do have the peak district very close to us though...half hour away from there but i like to take Wisp so gotta be careful with the sheep as she is very sheep keen lol...

The Peak District looks gorgeous too!! I’ll have to venture down there some time, I don’t think that’s too far away from us either luckily, about 1.5 - 2 hours! ☺️
