Hi Shannon👋It's a joy to watch yr vlog. Paddy made me laugh at loud😆. Your gorgeous coasters will look fantastic in fancy restaurants! Your rabbit is SO cute🥰 and will make amazing cards. Do you sell as well in shops? Here, we have an Art centre, The Quay Arts isle of Wight and they sell artists' cards. They are really friendly and approachable. Just an idea..Thank you for sharing and keep up with the good work❤

Lovely vlog, they are my favourite type of videos to watch 😊 Would you maybe consider doing a video about the pro's and con's on selling on etsy vs your website for artists? And which one you'd recommend for those starting out? I've heard some bad stuff about etsy so I'm not sure! The bunny drawing looks beautiful ❤ I'm glad everything turned out okay for the workshop, I'd love to go to one if I lived closer!

Loving this video so far! I’m just at the part where you’re talking about struggling with folding the cardboard box and I could be wrong but it looks like you’re folding it on the wrong side? If you fold it the other way (so that you’re folding into the dented line, if that makes sense?) that might help :) I also did this with these boxes so you’re not alone haha

Excellent video Shannon! Your attention to detail and explanations could not be better! I certainly wish I was at the workshop drawing the bunny! 🐰. I have 2 questions...I'm trying to learn layering better. Did you put white pencil down first in the beginning of the bunny's neck? Also, I LOVE my Strathmore vellum paper and considering trying the Strathmore smooth. I don't want to waste money on something I won't like, but I don't want to miss out a something good. My gut tells me smooth may be harder to layer? Have a great day and please keep presenting your excellent content? Bob😊

How clearly you taught us branding. And you are soo sweet and friendly. I think the thanks for watching illustration should contain a pet drawing on your canvas or somewhere on the wall. Also I think it should contain you tube subscribe icon, it will make the hook for subscribing. So this is my addition to the illustration. Overall I like the illustration, its soo good. THANKYOU 🙂

Hi Shannon, I'm am hoping to launch my own business selling art prints in (fingers crossed) about a months time. I have a couple of business mentors and at my most recent meeting I was told to research packaging with a view to helping me price my work. Your video has been incredibly helpful and thank you so much for all the links. I am slowly working my way through your videos as I'm also hoping to do my first art fair this summer. In all your videos you come across as very genuine, warm and down to earth and I am finding all of them constructive and informative. Your work is stunning and original. Thank you for being so open and considerate to other prospective artist wanting to follow their dream. I should be thinking about retiring at 61 but instead I'm in the very exciting position of opening up a brand new chapter in my life and working for myself selling my original art and prints. I did a rainforest frog drawing i actually improved since that class its actually good i bought some faber-castell polychromos pack of 36 for 49 quid there very good and im doing more they are very good my drawings glad i went to that class if you dont remeber me its alfie im 14 i went this month 13th i think

Hi Shannon, I bought Affinity month back thanks to you because I watch yr videos where you showed how you use it and I can't thank you enough🙏. I love it and it's a great option when we can't afford a monthly subscription with Photoshop.🙂 Another great video. For me, finding the right logo or name for a business is definitively the hardest thing. Also, being artistic and business person it's a challenge 😊. But you are doing it so well, it's very inspiring. I love the final sketch, it's brilliant and fun. Thank you so much for yr generosity and keep up with your amazing work.

Thank you for this Shannon, I wonder if it would be possible to offer some help on how to narrow down the very many options of fonts and templates places like Canva offer? I draw big cats but in gentle themes but don't want to look too soft but not fierce either 😅🤔

Thanks Shannon, really useful information. I have a dilemma about my branding at the moment because until 4 months ago, I was predominantly painting in watercolour so my logo and branding is heavily influenced by watercolour. However, through ill health I’ve had to diversify and found a talent I never knew I had of coloured pencil drawings of pet portraits and wildlife. I’ve added some of my coloured pencil work on my website but am wondering whether to completely separate the two. I’d be interested in your thoughts 😊
