F16 pilot needs to cut off afterburner and not launch a row of flares! Need to drop flares in groups of 2 or 4. In some parts he does cut off the burner and drops only a group of flares and the missile goes for the flares. People making this missile seem op but it’s just that they don’t know how to flare imo
In this test against flares the f 16 is trying to evade the r73 with some evasion maneuvers by launching flares with and without afterburner. If you think we should try it another way, tell me.
Its because gaijin keeps uber nerfing ir missiles into the dirt, making them all like aim9b in flare resistance. So now people just kind of expect a single press of flare key to defeat ir missile without effort, so when something actually works they call it op
0.75 FOV seeker says otherwise. It's definitely OP and cannot be flared rear aspect, almost impossible from side aspect. Edit: Aim-9L has 3.6 FOV so... yeah.. OP
@@RedTail1-1 benn on the dev server, it's easy to flare r73. Aim9L just sucks and will eat a single flare behind an after burning target. Jet players overreacting as usual. The main problem is no one else getting a missile to compete
Would you dare to do 1 v 1 simulating a real battle both in realistic and simulator with Aim 9l missiles against the R73 with HMD between the f16 block 50 and the Mig 29 SMT for a video also do bvr fights?
Is the flight performance gimped? I’ve heard a lot of people say that it’s worse than the 9.12 and 9.13 versions but can you feel a difference that should be there?
I don't think the flight performance is finished, flying the SMT feels like a truck, it doesn't pull many Gs either, it is clearly inferior to the Mig29A in performance since it has the same engine and the SMT is heavier. They also haven't put their original radar yet.
The Mig 29 SMT engines have the same performance as those of the Mig 29 A, the difference between the SMT engines and those of the Mig 29 A is that the Mig 29 SMT engines have increased the life time, his improved engines are called RD-33 series 3. In the game this doesn't affect in anything.

hopefully gaijin will stop touching the missiles and making them as useless as an R60 they are top tier missiles they can't be flares good video.
