I was wondering though, how did you approach production companies? Did you send them a generic email with your portfolio, or did you use some other approach in which it would be more likely they will work with you?

And yes, the first couple companies I reached out to were just cold emails with my reel. pretty much just said "Hey I really love the work you guys do, Im a new DP in town and would love to offer my services to you if you ever have a need". Hey Alexander! Yeah pretty much once you are done that reel, send it to every production company you wanna work with. It really is just a numbers game when you are starting out. A bunch will say no, but if you ask enough companies you are bound to start getting “yes” eventually!! Good luck, you got this !!
