what camera is this taken with? Incredible!!! Also did you do a package? I'm saw the name of this resort on reddit somewhere because I was orginalyl considering vava'u but then some suggested Ha'pai. Any thoughts?
Hi Stephanie, the underwater videos were shot with a GoPro Hero 12 and underwater pictures with a TG 6. The above water shots were taken with my cell phone. We did purchase a package Ha'apai Beach Resort, which included accommodations, food and daily trips searching for humpbacks. We were pretty happy with our experience staying with Ha'apai Beach Resort , but I don't have anything to compare it to. Also note that we had trouble paying for our flights from the main Tonga airport (Fuaʻamotu International Airport (TBU)) to Ha'apai. We ended up paying Ha'apai Beach Resort to purchase our local flights, which was quite nice of them.
